From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed and cared for. It seems that every single employee wanted me to have a memorable and satisfying experience. While perhaps not the most up to date facility, the Senator has character, and comfort. I stayed in the king size suite. Very very spacious, fireplace, jacuzzi type bath, separate room with seating, desk, frig, microwave, etc. Bed was very comfortable! The spa had such a welcome, calm feeling. My massage was amazing and the mineral pool was awesome! It is all glass enclosed, so the outside is sort of inside with you. The water was at a lovely 83-84 degrees - coming out my skin felt like silk, truly! I love to swim and this pool made my visit exceptional. It snowed while I was there and what a feeling that was to see the snow coming down while in that warm water. I also really liked the blue sky and clouds painted on the ceiling. Sometimes it seemed the clouds were moving.... Go figure... I enjoyed a great breakfast of homemade hash benedict and perfect coffee. Had to leave early to get home before the snow got more serious. But I will definitely return to swim, and to experience more of the spa's offerings. This was a lovely one day get away.

This hotel makes others pale in comparison. From the minute we made our reservation, we knew we'd made the right choice. We received a couple of emails in advance of our stay offering local information and setting us up for a successful stay that FAR exceed the canned emails form other chains. Check-in was seamless and the staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive. When we got to our room we were thrilled with the pleasant surroundings. As we tucked in for the night, we reveled in the dreamy-soft sheets! The hotel is adorned with art from local artists that show off the state and the surprising talent it boasts. Our biggest regret was that we only had one night for our stay. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Cemerlang

I'm beginning to deeply appreciate Hampton Inns due to the predictable experience across many properties. This property is lovely, quiet, very friendly and professional staff, clean property, excellent bedding and AC/Heating. Breakfast was a step above other free breakfasts given to the wafflemaker, gluten free bread, and omelettes. Highly recommend this property. We did not notice the floors transfer movement to the unit below so you may want to opt for the top floor for even more quiet.

PPengguna TetamuStayed 2 Sunday nights in a row. First stay I saw the dishwasher was full of dishes but they seemed clean. Second stay it was the same thing. I have to unload the dishwasher at home so I don’t want to do it when I’m staying in a hotel. Digital key may or may not work on room door and basically forget about it for exterior doors. Not a great thing in pouring rain when the closest door is at the other end of the hotel from the front lobby. Both times I had to get a card key to get into the building. Front desk person did not acknowledge my tier status or even apologize for the problem with digital key. Dislike that they allow/encourage smoking directly outside of every exit. The butt out stations are a few feet from the doorway and smokers gather in front of the door causing non smoking guests to have to walk between them.
