We are staying at cotton house this week for five nights. We used the five nights upgrade we had so they gave us the egyptian room on the second floor. The room is on smallish size, on par with most european hotels, but very clean. The room a small balcony with a table and chair facing the courtyard. Our flight got in early, hence we got to the hotel around 11am. The front desk lady was so polite, friendly, and eager to be helpful. She got us a room immediately which made our day. Being able to catch some sleep after an overnight flight was a Godsend. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. You can also order from a menu with 3-4 egg options. The hotel’s courtyard is an oasis. Lots of greenery, space heaters, and umbrellas. Everyone, from reception, to servers, to bartenders, are friendly and lovely. Will for sure visit again, next time with our kids.

From entering the hotel to the time we checked out we were treated like royalty. We came to Barcelona for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and on the day of check in I was greeted by beautiful patisserie and a bottle of chilled cabs in our room! Our first breakfast was heralded by complimentary pancakes and the staff were so courteous and helpful. But what made our stay so special was that this isn’t just an ordinary city hotel. They ooze individuality at every opportunity, from the selection of drinks in your room to the evening entertainment and everything else in between. This is our little secret hideaway in Barcelona, and we shall be returning.

We stayed 7 nights in this historic hotel and celebrated a special occasion during our trip. The hotel is truly beautiful & elegantly decorated, however the service levels were inconsistent and sorely disappointing for a hotel of this standard & price. Also, there was unfortunately no special factor that made this hotel memorable. Rooms - we booked a classic double room for 3 people & got upgraded to a deluxe room on a high floor. While I appreciated the upgrade and the room decor was beautiful, the bathroom (while spacious) was in visible need of refurbishment. The paint was badly peeling in certain parts, the closet doorknob came off on our third day, the glass shower door wouldn't close fully so the bathroom got wet during a shower. I'm not expecting a newly renovated room but for the price, the room should at least be in good working condition. Housekeeping - was very inconsistent and there was a severe lack of attention to detail. Some examples: - Upon check in, the room curtain was unhooked from the first hook and messily hanging - it took 3 days for housekeeping to finally notice & fix this. - For the entirety of our stay, all room amenities were provided for 2 (not 3) people despite us having booked & paid for 3 people. - Used wine glasses & water mugs were not washed for several days until we called housekeeping to do so. - On several days, I came back to my luggage having been moved haphazardly (I think they were trying to make up the extra bed) and not put back in its place. - Turn down service was done beautifully on some days and not at all on other days. Rooftop terrace - was a gorgeous place to dine, food was excellent and the service was lovely. We felt very welcome here and it was a real treat dining here! Definitely try the rooftop terrace at least once! Front desk, concierge and bellman were excellent. The concierge was helpful with dining recommendations and guest relations gave us a cake for the special occasion we were celebrating. The bellman was attentive to get us taxis & always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast - is definitely worth a try! The breakfast room is beautiful and the drawing room leading to it is so regal & gorgeous. Generous spread of food & service was warm as well. Amar - dined here & paid over 400 euros but it was a shockingly disappointing experience. The bread, starters, petit fours & decor were wonderful - but the 200 euros of seafood we ordered was not fresh at all and the service was disinterested & careless. We were abit shocked at how bad it was for a Michelin restaurant. Bluesman cocktail bar - did not try. There's a 50 euro per pax minimum spend but perhaps this could be waived for hotel guests who are already paying a lot for a room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but felt greatly let down by the service standards at this otherwise lovely hotel. Unfortunately, I highly doubt I'd return here again but sincerely hope the hotel improves its service standards to match its elega

The Hotel has a wonderful staff. They are very friendly and polite. The location is more than perfect. The hotel is located 5-7 away of the central part of the city. Plenty of restaurants choices . Very clean place with a modern design. We've been there to celebrate our son's 3rd birthday and the management has been prepare for. They had organised the room with a lot of balloons and small presents for him. Very kind of them. The breakfast was included and it was with a multiple choices. Excellent customer service... So - Highly recommended place of any one aspect!

Where do I start we simply loved everything about our stay at the edition. We stayed here April 18th - 21st and the staff specifically the concierge, night bell man on the 18th and front desk were beyond helpful and accommodating. I unfortunately lost the card with their names but those three guys helped my mom and I tremendously - from recommendations, transportations and other tidbits which made our stay very special. Lou Lou on the rooftop was exceptional and actually would remember our morning order which added that extra touch of personalization and guest service. Lisa I believe was her name at the rooftop bar (evening) was also fabulous. The Edition hotel is one of my favorite luxury boutique hotels and the Barcelona one didn’t disappoint - the rooms were gorgeous, clean and well appointed. The rooftop had breath taking views and the bar on the 1st floor was great for a nightcap. On top of the service, great rooms the hotel was in an exceptional location which made exploring super easy! We spent three days here and then moved to the W and it was nowhere near the level of luxury service - quite frankly we regretted having not stayed at the Edition for our entire stay!

Visited here with my partner Checking in was quick and easy Originally we got a room without a bath, but wanted a bath so went to reception and paid for upgrade. Room came with tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary chocolates. Shower and was great Bed and pillows were comfortable Fantastic location ! Can't comment on the breakfast as didn't order any. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, Muchas Gracias!

If you’re looking for a hotel that’s a decent price and for friends with a 3 bed room definitely book here. The staff are amazing and even the cleaners they do our bed everyday and fresh towels. We didn’t eat breakfast if I’m honest as we was on a budget so we went Aldi or Lidl to buy breakfast snacks .. they also had a mini fridge in the room too. The metro CLOT station is around the corner and some restaurants like El Clot restaurant so good. Staff are welcoming and friendly We are black people so we felt very comfortable at our stay as some people had mad experiences at other hotels in BCN. It wasn’t loud either each floor is quiet. The pool was lovely.

A mixed review PLUS POINTS. Great breakfast amazing choices and great quality. Beds, had a twin as was with my son possibly the best single bed I’ve slept in good quality linen. Has a fridge. Good black out curtains and air con.Female receptionists all polite and pleasant. Clean and tidy. BAD POINTS. Very basic for a superior room and expensive, poor tea and coffee selection ie none, and for two days not replenished 1 small decafe and 1 small instant. A bottle of water is to last your stay we we’re there four nights ! You can buy more ! Considering the price a bit tight. All but two of the male staff seen and we see a few miserable as sin. Would I stay again probably not.

I visited as part of a hen party and we stayed for 3 nights. We were spread around the hotel which was not an issue. Rooms were a mix of two bed and three bed. Rooms were good sized with comfortable beds. Location was good and we were able to get to our choice of venues easily by either booking a taxi or flagging one down. We were a bit disappointed that reception staff were unable to help with booking taxis but it was easy enough to do ourselves. One negative was that there was a bag of rubbish in my room when I arrived. It was obviously from the emptying of the bins and the cleaner had forgotten to take it out but it contained food and was on the sofa so not good to be met with. I did not eat in this hotel. There are eating places and shops nearby and vending machines in the foyer for that late night snack. I would stay in this hotel again.

Stayed here with my Mum for the week, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. We dropped our bags off before check in time and was advised whilst the room wasn't ready, should it be before 3pm then we were welcome to go back. We were given maps and advice for first timers to Barcelona about points of interest which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is in a great location and close to Clot metro station for easy access to the city. Depending on how first you walk, it's about 20-30 mins to Sagrada Familia with lots of cafes and restaurants along the way. You can also catch the metro to Sagrada Familia as well. Our room was clean and well appointed for our stay, and was also very quiet! Pillows were softer than I would have liked (I'm fussy though) but the bed was comfy. We had breakfast in the morning which was a buffet style and a good selection to get started for the day. There is also a terrace to sit out on from the breakfast room, as long as it's not still dark when you get up. Breakfast is from 7.30-10.30. Free WiFi without having the hassle of a password was also much appreciated! Highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be heading back in the future.

O hotel é excelente, tendo poucos pontos negativos (veja a seguir). Ele é novo, moderno e funcional. A localização não é tão central para turistas, e o metrô fica a cerca de 10 minutos a pé. De toda forma, eu recomendo o hotel. Pontos POSITIVOS: - quarto grande, novo, moderno e bem equipado; - banheiro grande e funcional; - toalhas felpudas; - roupa de cama com tecido de qualidade; - muito bom café da manhã; - não tem carpete, e sim assoalho de madeira (mais higiênico e menos alergênico); - bom controle de ar condicionado; - pessoal atencioso, tanto o do café da manhã quanto o da recepção. Pontos A MELHORAR: - o sinal de wi-fi é instável e lento, caindo toda hora; - o papel higiênico poderia ser de melhor qualidade; - as fronhas dos travesseiros maiores não cobrem as laterais (ficam abertas), deixando a parte interna exposta, o que não é lá muito higiênico, já que apenas a fronha é trocada a cada novo hóspede (e não a parte interna); - faltaram os itens gratuitos de toalete, inclusive hidratante corporal, que é sempre útil quando se está na Europa; - poderiam deixar garrafas de água gratuitas no quarto (ou no espaço da recepção), como outros hotéis dessa categoria estão fazendo atualmente. É um item de primeira necessidade e não é custoso para o hotel.

The service was fast and they will very attentive. Amazing experience. Really happy to choose this hotel as my first trip to Barcelona 🤗 if there is taxi service it will be even nicer although there is a taxi stand opposite the hotel and Uber app in the country. it still very difficult and time wasting. Overall I will still come back again because of the hotel amenities and services. 🤗

Excellent location. Short 3-4 min (300 m) walk Monumental (old bull ring) metro station. Great WiFi and very quiet room with tub and shower. Large well lit lobby The room key activates the room electricity so it takes a while for air conditioning to cool room on your arrival. An environmental plus but requires patience after a hot day of sight seeing. Limited access to electrical outlets, bring an extension cord. Mini bar looks like a refrigerator but ours was at room temperature. City Tour Hop-on-Hop off bus stop in about 5 min walk across from near the National Theater of Catalunya at corner of Avinguda Meridiana and C. de Pamplona. To get Hotel Glories from the airport take the Airport Express bus (A1) to Plaça Universitat, walk across street to Universitat metro station take Purple line (L2 in Badalona Pompeu Fabra direction) 3 stops to Monumental station. or (less expensive) #46 bus to Plaça Espanya (bus stop is on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes) cross street to metro station take the Red line (L1 in Fondo direction) 8 stops to the Glories station. To get Hotel Glories from the Sants Estació train station take the Blue line (L5 Vall d'Hebron direction) 5 stops to Sagrada Família transfer to the Purple line (L2 in Parallel direction) go 1 stops to Monumental station.
