Firstly, please let me thank you staff behind within the reception team as the staff I came across were a credit to your hotel. I had a booking with you for 7 nights from the 10th to 17th September stayed in room 701. Arrived on the Saturday evening at about 21.15hrs checked in, The gentleman behind reception who checked us in was great first thing he said was Mr & Mrs Barrett many congratulations to you both on celebrating your wedding anniversary, that along with the check in went really well and this made us feel special. Up to room Wow !! factor was really impressed however it was like a sauna No problems we can sort it tried to play around with the settings and struggled getting temp down, plus a few sockets in the room was not working. No letter wishing us congratulations Once we unpacked, we decided to have a look around and get our bearings. popped back to reception and mentioned about the Sockets next to bed not working in room and the temperature. the same gentleman said it's not a problem he can sort out the room temperature but sockets will have to wait till the morning, ok great thank you, can we please book the spa for Sunday around 5pm if its free, yes, he said no problems its book for us. that was it. Saturday night in the room was still very hot but we managed and by the morning it was nice and cool. Sunday afternoon there was someone different on so went to collect the key for the spa and towels off we went really excited as this was our anniversary day. Nothing in the spa was working apart from the pool with bubbles, the Steam room and Sauna was not on, went up to Reception asked the team they said it should be but I assured them nothing was on. we were asked to wait around 15 to 20 minutes which will give things time to warm up but we lost the experience by then. Once finished handed key back to Reception and asked if we could book a table in the restaurant tonight we were told this is closed and the bar is closed as well. But on the web site it says open !! so our plans were going side ways instead. I also mentioned again about sockets and was told we will be on it fiorst thing monday. Went up to room and ran the bath as going to have a jacuzzi, this didn't work reported this to the same person in reception, so we got dressed and went out for dinner. Monday going out said to the team we are out now so feel free to fix the sockets and Jacuzzi and will be back later on during the day. We got back quite late and visited a few sites within your city loads of photos, so by the time we got back didn't check nothing as we were really tired. Tuesday morning completely forgot to check to see if things were working as we had a very early start and a long day. came back late evening time and once again completely tired. Wednesday, I tried the sockets again and still not working so on my way out I mentioned to the team about these and i assumed the Jacuzzi would be the same. They were shocked and thought thes

I never write reviews but felt this hotel needed one to help others trying to decide - overall it’s a bed and clean room but don’t expect amazing service. Lots of simple things missing from this “4 star” hotel. We had a standard room which starts at around 300 euro a night, very expensive and not worth the cost at all. The curtains are 1 thin piece of fabric, in the day you either have them closed with a dark room because there’s no second frosted curtain (where you get the light, and the privacy) if the curtains are open everyone opposite just looks in & was woken every morning at 6am by the light because the are so thin - not ideal In the bathroom there’s no body lotion etc which is a given at any 4 star so I didn’t pack any. Poor quality shower gel which is nailed into the shower , just cheap. Nowhere to put a hand towel or separate shower towels there’s just 1 hook, odd! No iron and a weak hairdryer. Simple things that make a 4 star just aren’t there The main reason for the review : On our second to last day one room card stopped working so we swapped it at reception in the morning - later on we’d been out all day and wanted to sit in the sun for 1.5 hours before meeting friends for dinner - the card stopped working again after getting all the way up to our room carrying heavy bottles of water so we went all the way back down, to be told “you haven’t paid for your room so we’ve locked you out you should have paid at check in”… As if it was our fault… No one asked us too? I gave my card on booking plus we gave another card at check in… They then proceeded to overcharge us for our stay. We ended up wasting over half an hour of that 1.5 just in the reception trying to figure out why they’d overcharged us etc it’s just inconvenient, we’re on holiday you have our cards and we were checking out literally the next morning, why they felt they had to interrupt our stay on the one day it was sunny during our stay I have no idea.

Saya melanjutkan penginapan saya selama 4 hari untuk dua hari berikutnya, bilik telah dipindahkan kerana masalah penghawa dingin di bilik mesin sedia ada, tetapi keadaan bilik telah rosak. Walau bagaimanapun, Barcelona adalah baik dan tidak ada kesulitan besar, jadi saya sangat menikmati penginapan saya.

This hotel was fine, and yet quite confounding. What should have been a fine experience otherwise was marred several stupid and small flaws, which would be really easy to fix, if there was any will at all on the part of management:   1) Check-in - with only one person before me, took 20 minutes. Computers were not working.    2) Privacy policy - I was made to sign a paper, but after signing the person kept the paper. I had no copy so no record of what I signed.   3) Room: Totally baffling array of switches for the lighting system, impossible to decipher.   4) Hair dryer: broken, screeching sound and no air coming out. Wondef if the staff bother check them? I was quite scared and turned it off immediately.   5) Contacting reception - I had to use my mobile phone to call the front desk to report the hair dryer, at which time i was told that the number to contact reception was 1700. Amazing. NO one said that on check in. I did later discovered it was handwritten on the key-card paper, but the receptionist could have bothered to point that out.   6) Elevators. Ridiculous! I visited several floors to find the way back to reception. There is a giant sign OUTSIDE the elevator that says 0 for reception. But INSIDE the elevator there is no ”O”, only ”B”. I finally go thtere, but I mean seriously, how unhelpful.   7) Invoice - I requested an invoice at reception on departure. When I got home I discovered it is not even a correctly done official invoice for VAT purposes. It was issued on a plain piece of paper, lacked the company name address and VAT number, and they didn´t bother to put my info on it.   I had to write to atencion cliente and comercia1 to request a new one.   Items 5 and 6 could be so easily solved with small stickers (one for each phone, two for each elevator).   How much effort is that? Obviously too much.    I should add, that the stay was otherwise fine. This could be a five star experience. Except, it isn't.   These are small things. Never have I encountered a hotel that gave off such a feeling of no one caring at all about the place.

Very very beautiful interior. Super classy. Service is amazing and premium. Alexander the staff at the reception was very amazing and sweet. Gave us heads up about the city and where we should visit. She also took initiative to prepare a surprise for us for our honeymoon.

This hotel is a great find even though not in the city centre. The hop on hop off bus (Glories stop) is nearby and one can get the tickets at the reception. We managed to sneak into the rooftop terrace and the sunset view overlooking the Glories tower is amazing. We also appreciate the one time complimentary spa at their sister's hotel Olympic Villa n Suites which is really nice, but you have to still pay 2 euro per towel. What is a letdown is the housekeeping and the lack of complimentary water. The housekeeper will just put everything on the floor while cleaning and never put it back to its original place. Also, the hotel water policy is somewhat unfriendly - only a pack of water for the first night and that's it! when we call to get more water,they ask us to purchase from the bar. This is in contrary to their sister hotel Olympic Villa (where our friends stay) where the hotel provides water dispenser. I certainly hope the hotel will do this and not to inconvenience it's guests to purchase water. Kettle is provided in the room but then there are mineral deposits from the tap water. It would have give it 5 star rating if not for the stingy water policy. Please improve.

This hotel has a pool which I liked even though it had a chlorine smell. Location is bad. Metro is one kilometer from hotel and FAR from the city. Shuttle for sic hours in the middle of the day does NOT run to the airport. Why is that? Room is okay nothing special . Front looby staff was professional but the restaurant staff lacks manners and good service skills. I would only stay here again if I had airport transfers at the correct time. There is NOTHING near the hotel.
