We know Barcelona well, and are especially happy in the Pedralbes area, which gives a bit of space away from the central madness. We were staying with our son and grandsons, and this hotel was an excellent choice, with great staff, and so much going for it. The room we had was spacious, airy and clean, and to a high standard. The roof pool is not big, but gives a good size for children. The staff go the extra mile, and the wee extras we got were a true bonus. The restaurant was also good and fairly priced. Nearby you have great parks, and all amenities such as a metro, taxi rank and good bus service. For people wanting a real Barcelona experience, this is a great place to stay.

This hotel was fine, and yet quite confounding. What should have been a fine experience otherwise was marred several stupid and small flaws, which would be really easy to fix, if there was any will at all on the part of management:   1) Check-in - with only one person before me, took 20 minutes. Computers were not working.    2) Privacy policy - I was made to sign a paper, but after signing the person kept the paper. I had no copy so no record of what I signed.   3) Room: Totally baffling array of switches for the lighting system, impossible to decipher.   4) Hair dryer: broken, screeching sound and no air coming out. Wondef if the staff bother check them? I was quite scared and turned it off immediately.   5) Contacting reception - I had to use my mobile phone to call the front desk to report the hair dryer, at which time i was told that the number to contact reception was 1700. Amazing. NO one said that on check in. I did later discovered it was handwritten on the key-card paper, but the receptionist could have bothered to point that out.   6) Elevators. Ridiculous! I visited several floors to find the way back to reception. There is a giant sign OUTSIDE the elevator that says 0 for reception. But INSIDE the elevator there is no ”O”, only ”B”. I finally go thtere, but I mean seriously, how unhelpful.   7) Invoice - I requested an invoice at reception on departure. When I got home I discovered it is not even a correctly done official invoice for VAT purposes. It was issued on a plain piece of paper, lacked the company name address and VAT number, and they didn´t bother to put my info on it.   I had to write to atencion cliente and comercia1 to request a new one.   Items 5 and 6 could be so easily solved with small stickers (one for each phone, two for each elevator).   How much effort is that? Obviously too much.    I should add, that the stay was otherwise fine. This could be a five star experience. Except, it isn't.   These are small things. Never have I encountered a hotel that gave off such a feeling of no one caring at all about the place.

Inizio col dire si tratta di un ostello quindi il mio giudizio si basa su questa premessa. Con un amico ho trascorso qui 2 notti, ci siamo trovati davvero bene! La nostra stanza era una tre posti (con letto a castello a scomparsa) molto piccola, con un bagno micro, ma pulita, funzionale e con tutto (armadio, tante prese elettriche, aria condizionata). La posizione è eccezionale, a 30 metri dalla metro e da un supermercato e si trova su una via piena di ristoranti. Il titolare Pedro un mito, parla benissimo l'italiano e la mattina fa da barman preparando anche la colazione compresa nel prezzo (panino + muffin + caffè/cappuccino e al tavolo si trovano marmellata, crema di nocciole spalmamabile e formaggini). Per chi non ha grandi pretese e sa di trascorrere in camera solo il tempo di dormire è una soluzione ideale, economica, ripeto pulita e silenziosa (non abbiamo avuto problemi di chiasso). Bravo Pedro e grazie ancora!

Very nice and modern rooms with everything we need. Good service in the reception, and it was great that we could order pizza to the room when we arrived after midnight! The breakfast was ok, it had good amount of choices. The hotel has a nice little pool area with a Jacuzzi, and a few sunbeds. The only small complaint i have is that there was a bit noisy in the hallway outside the room in the morning, i think it may have been the cleaners. We had a very nice stay! :)

Personal encantador, pendiente de tu comodidad. Además, cuenta con un restaurante con menú diario de buena calidad y servicio muy bueno. La habitación es normal, aunque la cama es realmente cómoda. Desayuno correcto. Quiero destacar el servicio, ya que, incluso nos facilitaron el primer día el desayuno caliente antes de su horario habitual, por consulta médica posterior, con total disponibilidad y amabilidad. Tanto en recepción como en restaurante, el personal es excelente, ofreciendo su ayuda en todo momento.

This hotel is the one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. It is so clean and the rooms are lovely. The staff are all lovely and cannot do enough for you like booking taxis etc. you can sit outside and have a few drinks if you wish. The dining room looked lovely but we didn’t have breakfast so cannot review that unfortunately. The hotel is excellently positioned for the metro literally a 2 min walk then it takes you straight to La rambla which is 5 stops away and takes 10 minutes at the very most. So easy to use. If you’re looking for a great hotel in a quiet area then book this hotel it is just fab !!! The only downside was the tea and coffee sachets would be nice if replaced daily in the room

Nice views and room, everythins is very clean. The city centre is very close, so easy to reach. The staff was super friendly and took great care of the needs of the group. The food was very good and the rooms were spacious, with plenty of natural light and clean. The whole group left happy, we recommend it.

Very pleasant hotel with kind and helpful staff and tasty breakfasts. Our room faced the inner courtyard and was very quiet. I appreciated the curtains on the windows, which perfectly eliminated the daylight. The beds were big enough and comfortable. The bathroom was relatively large, with a bathtub. The fridge in the room was a plus. The metro station is just a few steps away. If I ever visit Barcelona again, I will choose this hotel again.
