My husband and I visited Barcelona for 3 days (4 nights) while we were visiting family for 2 weeks in England. The hotel is exactly as described on their website. A 28 room modern, stylish hotel with a great little rooftop bar. At the end of each day we enjoyed the view and well made cocktails. Upon our arrival we were greeted and seated and the front desk with chocolate and a glass of cava. The staff spoke to us in English, which was nice for us. I saved my courage to speak my few words of Catalan and highschool Spanish for outside the hotel. We were taken on a quick tour of the hotel and then to our room which was upgraded to a mini suite with a welcome gift of a chilled bottle of Cava and more chocolate! We had a mini bar and complimentary tea and Nespresso coffee. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub which I used twice after long days of site seeing and walking. Diptyque bath products, hairdryer, hair straightener, magnifying mirror and bathrobes were all provided. Turn down service, slippers, bottles of water and a mini pastry was provided each evening. Two closets with full length mirrors, drawers and a safe kept all of our things nearly contained. The location was perfect for us. Many shops, bars and restaurants. We felt we made the perfect choice. The hotel and staff helped make this trip unforgettable!

I recently stayed at the Eurostars Grand Marina, and I have to say, it was a really good hotel experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who were eager to assist me with anything I needed. The hotel lobby was grand and luxurious, with beautiful decor and comfortable seating areas. My room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the city skyline. Where do I start we simply loved everything about our stay at the edition. We stayed here April 18th - 21st and the staff specifically the concierge, night bell man on the 18th and front desk were beyond helpful and accommodating. I unfortunately lost the card with their names but those three guys helped my mom and I tremendously - from recommendations, transportations and other tidbits which made our stay very special. Lou Lou on the rooftop was exceptional and actually would remember our morning order which added that extra touch of personalization and guest service. Lisa I believe was her name at the rooftop bar (evening) was also fabulous. The Edition hotel is one of my favorite luxury boutique hotels and the Barcelona one didn’t disappoint - the rooms were gorgeous, clean and well appointed. The rooftop had breath taking views and the bar on the 1st floor was great for a nightcap. On top of the service, great rooms the hotel was in an exceptional location which made exploring super easy! We spent three days here and then moved to the W and it was nowhere near the level of luxury service - quite frankly we regretted having not stayed at the Edition for our entire stay!

Visited here with my partner Checking in was quick and easy Originally we got a room without a bath, but wanted a bath so went to reception and paid for upgrade. Room came with tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary chocolates. Shower and was great Bed and pillows were comfortable Fantastic location ! Can't comment on the breakfast as didn't order any. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, Muchas Gracias!

This experience has been one of the best we’ve had in Barcelona. The hotel room felt spacious and all staff members were exceptionally helpful. We are particularly impressed by Front Desk employee Luis and Gema. They were extremely supportive. They greatly aided us with transport and gave us local tips (such as good restaurants, how to take public transport etc.) Gema even personally helped us to arrange our luggage delivery to another hotel in a timely and efficient way. The luggage was closely monitored the whole process until it arrived in our hand. I would highly recommended this real 5 Star Hotel to everyone.

Firstly, please let me thank you staff behind within the reception team as the staff I came across were a credit to your hotel. I had a booking with you for 7 nights from the 10th to 17th September stayed in room 701. Arrived on the Saturday evening at about 21.15hrs checked in, The gentleman behind reception who checked us in was great first thing he said was Mr & Mrs Barrett many congratulations to you both on celebrating your wedding anniversary, that along with the check in went really well and this made us feel special. Up to room Wow !! factor was really impressed however it was like a sauna No problems we can sort it tried to play around with the settings and struggled getting temp down, plus a few sockets in the room was not working. No letter wishing us congratulations Once we unpacked, we decided to have a look around and get our bearings. popped back to reception and mentioned about the Sockets next to bed not working in room and the temperature. the same gentleman said it's not a problem he can sort out the room temperature but sockets will have to wait till the morning, ok great thank you, can we please book the spa for Sunday around 5pm if its free, yes, he said no problems its book for us. that was it. Saturday night in the room was still very hot but we managed and by the morning it was nice and cool. Sunday afternoon there was someone different on so went to collect the key for the spa and towels off we went really excited as this was our anniversary day. Nothing in the spa was working apart from the pool with bubbles, the Steam room and Sauna was not on, went up to Reception asked the team they said it should be but I assured them nothing was on. we were asked to wait around 15 to 20 minutes which will give things time to warm up but we lost the experience by then. Once finished handed key back to Reception and asked if we could book a table in the restaurant tonight we were told this is closed and the bar is closed as well. But on the web site it says open !! so our plans were going side ways instead. I also mentioned again about sockets and was told we will be on it fiorst thing monday. Went up to room and ran the bath as going to have a jacuzzi, this didn't work reported this to the same person in reception, so we got dressed and went out for dinner. Monday going out said to the team we are out now so feel free to fix the sockets and Jacuzzi and will be back later on during the day. We got back quite late and visited a few sites within your city loads of photos, so by the time we got back didn't check nothing as we were really tired. Tuesday morning completely forgot to check to see if things were working as we had a very early start and a long day. came back late evening time and once again completely tired. Wednesday, I tried the sockets again and still not working so on my way out I mentioned to the team about these and i assumed the Jacuzzi would be the same. They were shocked and thought thes

None of the hotels yet in Europe has offered a bottled driking water but here we got. Two recommendations I will like to make : a bin in room and tea/coffee in room as Electric Kettle was there. A suggestion for travelers, if you are there to relax can choose room with Balcony as it is great otherwise not as you won’t have time to relax in Balcony so save money.

It did not have the feel like a 4 star hotel. We had an inside room. The window looked out onto an atrium with very little daylight and opposite this was a corridor that people walked down. The windows are frosted glass, so there is no view. It makes the room feel very dark and the colour of the decoration and furnishings did not help. The bathroom was functional but did not contain any 4* toiletries but were acceptable. Breakfast was well laid out but allowed the cooked items to go cold very quickly the service was also not 4*. The building itself is very nice and the location is excellent and a great deal of improvement could be achieved without spending too much money to bring it to a 4* hotel. There is no bar to have a drink at and no meals other than room service. Bed was a bit uncomfortable my liking and on the small side for that class of hotel. Just a pity that the hotel group have not invested sufficient funds to make it 4* given the quality of the building and its location.

Coffee and tea freely available and toasties for breakfast could be bought. So, a very basic hostal that would have been fine for two nights. But unfortunately the inside noise was terrible. I had asked for a quiet room, but until deep into the night, I heard doors slamming and people talking and laughing. For younger people who want to party all night, this place is fine. For older people, who want some sleep as well, look elsewhere.

Excellent location, a couple of minutes away from the cruise port. Around the corner are many restaurants and bars, a laundromat, bakeries and so much more. Walking distance from the beach, la Rambla, port Vell, and plaça Reial. The Hop on Hop off tour buses are just down the street. We stayed there in August for 4 nights, got on our cruise and came back to spend our last night before heading back home to Canada. It was clean, the staff was friendly and we felt very secure. There is a safe in every room. We will definitely stay there again when we go back. It’s comfortable, affordable and perfectly located.
