Hotel berhampiran Woonboulevard Cornelisland, Barendrecht

A couple of lamps were not working and changing bulbs could not fix the issue. Staff are pleasant except for an incident where I have paid for dinner in cash but the cashier failed to register into the system and I was asked to pay again...the issue was resolved, eventually. Breakfast food is satisfactory and a pleasant-looking waitress cooks omelet per order.

Accueil digne d'un hôtel haut de gamme. Equipe de réception très professionnelle tout comme l'ensemble du personnel de cet hôtel que je n'hésiterai pas à classer comme meilleur Ibis Styles fréquenté ces dernières années. Certes, c'est hôtel très récent mais on peut aisément constaté qu'il a été conçu avec des équipements et des matériaux de très bonnes qualités. La décoration (hall, bar, restaurant, chambres) réalisée avec goût sans oublier l'aspect confort que certains architectes oublient lors de la conception de certains hôtels. Le service est lui aussi très professionnel et courtois tant au bar, au restaurant et lors du petit déjeuner. Le restaurant (italien) propose des mets variés et qualitatifs. On ressent l'envie de satisfaire et de bien faire. Belle petite carte des vins. Merci spécial au manager Eliott. Le petit déjeuner proposé est lui aussi très varié et riche (cela change du traditionnel petit déjeuner standard et pauvre des hôtels Ibis en France). Les chambres sont bien équipées et joliment décorées. L'hôtel est situé face à la salle omnisport et concerts de Ahoy. Parking payant jouxtant l'hôtel. 5 minutes à pied de la station de métro Zuidplein qui vous permet de rejoindre la gare de Rotterdam Centraal en un peu plus de 10 minutes et l'hyper centre de Rotterdam en 5 minutes. En conclusion, même si nous avons la chance de fréquenter plutôt des hôtels premium je qualifierai l'IBIS Styles Ahoy comme un des meilleurs hôtel fréquenté depuis 25 ans dans le groupe Accor. VERY NOISY ROOMS!!!!!! 2nd floor for which you pay 197 euros with breakfast. Normally we don't have this when we stay in a hotel. We could literally hear the neighbor on the phone and woke up to the kids staying in their room across the hall. If someone says something in the hallway, it's as if they're in your room. In fact, I wouldn't walk in the hallway with your children, because there are also sounds that you hear very loudly that you actually don't want to hear. The location is beautiful and it is nice that you can check out later, the restaurant staff is very friendly. The manager (she said she was, but she wasn't) at the front desk, on the other hand, doesn't understand what customer service means. We asked if we could get a quieter room and got a whole story about how much money an upgrade would cost her. She said that we might be able to go to the suite, but we had to pay for it and it would not be available the next day, while we could simply book it online the next day. I don't like it when people lie flat out to your face. Very unfortunate because they could really get a lot more out of this hotel. We will not choose this hotel again.

It took over an hour to get a room from check-in. The first room didn’t have WiFi, so they sent me to another room ( they didn’t help move my luggage and I spent 25 traipsing around trying to find my rooms) - having moved room - still no WiFi and the key didn’t work. This hotel looks like a fun place to stay - but it is awful. I’ve been here an hour - apparently someone will be down to help. Can’t unpack as I expect that I’ll be moved again (and won’t get help). Have just been called and they wanted me to go to another part of the ship….where there is WiFi…I guess we’re giving up on being allowed to work in my room.

After stay at the Copenhagen CityHub I thought why not give this Rotterdam one a go as my experience before was great. Well firstly my god it was noisy, I had requested a quiet pod in the hotel as I'm a very light sleeper (even with earplugs in and pillow overhead lol) . So I was placed near the toilets/showers.... Ding ding ding alarms should have been going off then as the amount of banging those toilets/showers doors and the thumping of the people who sounded like they was thumping past all the pods (request a top pod in future). With ear plugs I was woken up early by other pod users who didn't have a care about anybody else who would have even been asleep as long as the could have a chat in the hall ways as loud as possible. So if you are going out and getting drunk this hotel is perfect for you but if you are on a sightseeing trip and wanting a early night we'll best of luck with that. None of my USB chargers were working in my pod but luckily I had brought a plug with more than 1 socket on it for charging. You get what you pay here and for a single person it's the cheapest option in the city. Lockers are huge and fitted my large suitcase in very easily. Staff very helpful as usual especially the American guy. Would I stay again, I'm afraid I wouldn't at this one as far too noisy for me. Maybe big groups shouldn't be all put on same floor and then they can meet in area downstairs and chat as loud as possible as they want at any time that suits them.

We have chosen the hotel because of its location close to Rotterdam and the motorway. We had some work to do, so decided to take a Skyline Suite, so we had some space to sit and work. Regrettably the suites are made for a romantic outing. Being on the 13th floor there is no worry that somebody looks into the room. The hotel also takes an extra € 150 as bond, in case you make a mess of the room. There is a separate toilet. The bathroom area is huge. Two wash basins and lot of space, regrettably there were no glasses available. We used the carton coffee cups to drink from. A huge batch in an open area, which was not used. An open room again with 2 showers and ‘rainforest’ shower heads in the ceiling. The water pressure was not high enough to really make them work. Also no towel rails or towels provided in that room. So - unless you were prepared - you had to walk into the space with the bath in , to get towels. Only 2 towels are provided, large enough to wrap a child in… but not big enough for an adult. The quality was inferior and not nice big and fluffy for a room with so many water features. Again only 2 larger towels so if you wanted a bath and a shower, you had to use a wettish towel for the second use. No table where you could use a room service meal , nor decent chairs. No desk either, instead a make table with a big mirror. Two lounge chairs, where you can only lie in, next to the bed where you can lie in. The bed is big, but the mattress did not fit the bed! On both sides you had 15 cms space. The room has a coffee machine, with 4 coffee pods. So you’d better not be a coffee drinker. A small fridge is also present, with 2 small bottles of water, so no min bar!! For a room which costs over € 300 this can be used as a nice romantic getaway with your secret friend … but bring your own ice box, towels and coffee!!

Really nice hotel. The view is stunning. Great amenities. Nice breakfast. Very near to the metro. Trams stop in front of the hotel. Very accessible. But the check in is at 3pm. Unlike other hotels, we can check in a bit earlier. But here, we had to stay at the lobby until the check in time. Good thing, you can drop your luggage at the reception desk and stroll around the city. Overall it’s good, worth the price!
