Hotel berhampiran Teatro Petruzzelli, Bari

As part of a group tour of Southern italy, we arrived in Bari and stayed at the only 5 star hotel in Bari-the iH hotels Bari Grande delle Nazioni, situated conveniently on the Lungomare. it was a nice sized hotel with a large lobby. The room I received was large, clean, spacious with a lot of natural light and high ceilings. The floor was wood, no carpets anywhere. The decor is somewhat dated but functional. It came with a large double bed, not too soft and there was a nice sized wide screen TV to view opposite the bed. . On the bed, there was a packet containing a robe and slippers. The bathroom is spacious, a lot of natural light and a toilet, bidet. and a shower with good water pressure. There was a large free standing closet [there are no built in closets in Italy] and in terms of temperature control, the room was comfortable. [This could be adjusted] A safe is in the bottom of the closet. Full mini bar. Room service was available if so desired and there was an electric coffee pot and adequate coffee and tea service but this lacked stirrers of any kind and powdered cream. You had to drink coffee black.[Caveat: clean the electric coffee pot out before you decide to use it.] Snacks were available for purchase. Steps are not clearly marked throughout the hotel and bannisters are at a minimum so one must be careful when walking. The floors are marble and one step is not clearly discernable from the next. Walk carefully, a fall could ruin your vacation. The breakfast was located on the 6th floor and was delicious with many choices-fresh fruit, croissants, breads of many kinds, prosciutto, fresh cheeses, etc. We had dinner with the group at this hotel since it was our first night there and the food and wine choices were superb-the appetizer we had was a penne pasta al dente peppered with cherry tomatoes and a tangy sauce. The entree was roasted chicken over potatoes with gravy. The Puglian wines were excellent. Overall, it was a very nice stay and i would recommend and return.

Залишилися дуже задоволені від перебування в цьому готелі. Дуже зручно, комфортно та затишно в номері. Завжди приємно в номері пахне, кожного дня прибирають. Надають капці, шампунь, гель, мило. В номері є приємні гостинці як кава, чай, водичка. Сніданки нормальні але типові італійські (вони на сніданок багато не їдять), голодні не будете☺️. Нас зустріла на resepshin дівчина, яка детально надала інформацію по перебуванню в готелі, та що можна подивитися в місті. Вхід до готелю та в номер через електронну систему, дуже зручно. Все на вищому рівні, рекомендую цей готель. Інтернет також добре працює.

I am so happy to write this review. We were two couples in need of last minute accommodations due to a medical emergency, and I literally booked two rooms with Antonella an hour before arrival. I have no words to describe how accommodating and gracious a hostess Antonella is. She waited for us outside her B&B when we arrived, helped my husband with our luggage while her husband directed us to the parking garage. She has a beautiful apartment, a few minutes’ walk from the historical center, with several rooms to rent. The apartment is huge and beautifully decorated. Our room was a king size room. It was wonderful, large and airy, extremely clean, and the bed was very very comfortable. Antonella was always available on WhatsApp for any questions and advice. She recommended and booked a great fish restaurant (Giampolo) for my husband and myself and booked a taxi for our friends, who unexpectedly had to return home. She couldn’t have been nicer and more considerate. If ever in Bari again, I will definitely stay here. I highly recommend Mammadada for your stay in Bari.

Il bb si trova in un bel palazzo signorile, ben tenuto in pieno centro. La stanza era ampia e comoda. Consiglio solo di mettere nuovi antiscivolo sui gradini che portano alla doccia, per maggiore sicurezza. Così come un altro consiglio, forse più importante, è di mettere dei doppi vetri alle finestre, per insonorizzare la stanza, perché si sente tutta la movida notturna e la successiva pulizia delle prime ore dell’alba. Outstanding hotel, across the board. English speaking staff, easy parking either on the street or under the hotel. Everything is modern and great attention to details everywhere. Room was spacious, and well equipped with good AC and nice windows. Bed was comfortable. The restaurant was quite good. Breakfast was pleasant, but basic. Nice outdoor terrace. The only downside is that there is nothing there. It is close to the highway if you are going places every day and have a car. Yes, you can cab/Uber to Bari as well. Highly recommended for business.

Les chambres sont très modernes et très propres, le petit déjeuner est bon, l’hôtel est bien situé à côté d’une plage de plus il y’a plein de bus qui mènent vers la ville. La navette de l’hôtel vers la vieille ville est gratuite, c’est top. On as beaucoup aimer la piscine, les frites de patate douce ainsi que les mijotos à déguster au bord de celle ci. Le personnel est parfait , et mention spéciale pour Vito , le pool boy extrêmement gentil et très serviable

Not my first choice and never to return. I was asked to call when I arrived at the airport and I did. I had a local number so there were no issues with communications. I called and the pick up arrived 40 minutes after that. The journey is not even 5 minutes away. After I called again, the agent told me there was heavy traffic -a total lie from hell, the road was empty and clear. It was also a Sunday , minimal movement. I was there for an event which i was late for. After I checked in, I asked to book/reserve a taxi for 12pm. I went down after finding my room and approached the front desk at 12:05 asking for my taxi service that was supposedly booked. When I asked for the car, the agent said that she had not had a chance to book because no one answered - I was made to wait 42 minutes till a car arrived to take me on my way. I believe every one was blaming everyone else and there was nothing I could do but wait and wait. Breakfast the next day which was an inclusion to the booking looked like a government school cafeteria by the side of a bus stop. The entire experience was a joke that was considered a business.

Chose this hotel because we were flying into Bari and picking up our rental car at Bari airport for our Puglia road trip. I didn't want to drive into a city and wanted someplace easy and convenient to get to. The Hotel Barion fit the bill. Very easy to get to from the airport and a great view. Rooms were nice and clean, felt safe the whole time. The staff were all great. Had dinner at the restaurant after we arrived and even though there was a large tour group that was dining at the same time the service and food were very good. The breakfast on the top floor in the morning was wonderful.....view and food. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I really recommend this hotel for a family trip. We went with a baby and we enjoyed a lot, many activities for kids, swimming pool, baby dancing. Breakfast is good. The negative thing is, the closest supermarket is 5 km from hotel and taxi is quite expensive, we paid 30€ for 10 min ride. If you want visit places around better rent a car. Hotel provide transfer to airport for free, ask for timetable and arrange pick up service.
