Inn at Price Tower

This place is very cool. There are stains in the carpet just as other posters have said. The soaps in the shower are also too high for little people to reach. The elevators are small. However, you won't get many opportunities to stay in a Frank Lloyd Wright building. The ladies at the front desk were nice and helpful. The building has a lot of character. We enjoyed the experience!

We had such an enjoyable experience! The hotel is so unique. I loved all of the windows in our room. That evening there was a thunderstorm, and it was so neat to watch the lightning all around us. There was also a free concert on the lawn the weekend we were there which added to our great experience. We would have loved to take the tour, but it was booked up. However you can explore the first two floors and read about the history of the building/hotel without having the formal tour. We have eaten at the restaurant before, and it was very good, but this. time it was under renovation. So, we ate at Painted Horse which was also good and within walking distance. You can also easily walk to Wheeze's for breakfast in the morning.

Amazing building to stay in. One of Frank Lloyd Wright's realized skyscrapers. Lots of mid-century awesomeness with simple choices and a beautiful view of sunsets and sunrises. Super cool lobby with a restaurant and art. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Fair warning, the elevators are quite small.

We have loved the design and architecture of the building, did the tour, which was great and informative and ate at the just opened restaurant. The restaurant was great! Best salmon I may have ever had, great fish and chips too. However, the AC in the building can not keep up with the heat. On arrival the front desk was kind enough to try and accommodate us and moved our room to a room on a lower floor hoping that would help with the room not being cool. And gave us a discount since the room we had reserved was larger. But to our disappointment the lower floor room is just as warm. I did not go back and complain, because I really hate being that person, but I am seriously considering going and finding other accommodations for tonight. Neither of us slept well last night and I need some AC. But the rooms are beautiful! Hoping with the new investors they invest in the AC units that can be put on the walls. It would change the entire experience!

If you love historic properties and architecture this is a great hotel. There were imperfections, but that is expected in buildings this old. It was clean… but very dated. Carpets were very worn in our room. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Beds were comfy and views were awesome. Our room was cool with fan going. New owners, and renovations expected.. I’m sure when that happens, it would be out of our price range. Glad we stayed when we did.

I used to love staying at this hotel, which is beautiful and unique, but it has gone downhill over the last couple of years. I had no cold water in the sink or shower, so it got uncomfortable. No coffee pot or refrigerator in the room -- not even a box of facial tissues. The toilet paper was stiff and scratchy. The air conditioning barely worked, but the room had a portable fan so that helped a bit. The wrap-around windows provided a beautiful view, but because it was hot outside and the A/C didn't work I didn't keep the curtains open much. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious, but this hotel needs some help. When I mentioned the water issue to the staff, they said they knew about it. (It would have been nice if they had mentioned that when I checked in.) I hate to write this review, but I want other travelers to know about these issues before they visit.
