Lovely historical hotel in excellent location a few minutes walk to the galleries. Great breakfast options and excellent meals. Friendly and accommodating staff. Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.

Nice classy hotel with very clean rooms and charming breakfast restaurant.

We stayed for the Canberra Marathon Festival. The location was close to the main event area, and there is a cafe and a foodstore close by. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. The area is quiet but there are a few restaurant's and bars along the lake about a 10-minute walk away. Uber's were always only a minute away. We had a great time seeing the sights, a lot of them are within walking distance from the hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful, we had breakfasts in the morning- hubby loved it and they had option for vegan as well. Only con is smelling cigarettes while we walking to the room. There were too many smokers in the courtyard along the hallway.

Very good hotel, we’ve stayed here a few times already. Food is great and staff members are friendly. We would recommend the hotel to other people.

Old charm meets modern amenities. We loved our short stay at hotel Kurrajong. From the entrance with the fireplace and warm and helpful staff to the garden for pre dinner drinks. Also enjoyed the plaques scattered on the walls detailing the hotels history with political and royal identities. A very relaxed and easy experience.

The hotel is classic, the rooms are comfortable and parking is convenient!

1. There were cockroaches in the room, flying onto the pillow in the middle of the night 2. There was a party in the hotel courtyard, and the noise was very loud until nearly 11pm

There aren't many places to eat around the hotel, and you need to take a bus to get to the city. The view is nice and very close to the Congress. Ben Chifley has lived here for a long time and is in the room next to us. But I don’t know why there is an empty plate outside our door and he didn’t take it away even after telling the front desk. . Because we had to catch the morning train to Sydney, we thought we needed to book an Uber in advance, but the front desk staff said we didn’t need to, just call for a taxi ten minutes in advance, saving us 30 Australian dollars. Went to the restaurant for dinner, it was good.
