We booked 2 rooms, and the experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
1. Unacceptable Check-in Delay:
The official check-in time was 2PM, but when we arrived, the reception informed us that we had to wait 20mins due to room cleaning.
After 20mins, we asked again and were told to wait another 20mins, as the rooms were still being cleaned.
We waited until 3PM, and the rooms were still not ready. At this point, we were very angry. Only after raising our voices did the reception say that one room was ready, while the other was still under cleaning.
After we complained again, suddenly both rooms became available. We finally checked in at around 3:20PM.
During this long waiting time, the lobby had no air conditioning, and it was extremely hot. We were forced to wait outside together with people smoking, which made the situation even worse.
2. Extremely Dirty and Smelly Rooms:
The two rooms were on Level 6 and Level 7, located at the end of the corridor. Both rooms had a very strong and unpleasant smell from air freshener, as if it was used to cover up something.
More importantly, both rooms were extremely dirty, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel.
3. Room on Level 6 – Serious Hygiene Issue:
In the Level 6 room, the toilet, bedsheets, and blanket had red stains, which appeared to be menstrual blood or other unknown red substances.
The toilet floor was very dirty and clearly not cleaned at all. I had to wash the toilet floor myself, which is unbelievable for a paid hotel stay.
4. Room on Level 7 – Cockroach Infestation:
In the Level 7 room, the bedsheets and floor were very dirty, and there were many small cockroaches in the room. We do not know where the cockroaches came from, but they kept appearing continuously. We had to stay extremely alert every minute because cockroaches kept showing up.
Conclusion:
Luckily, we brought our own disposable bedsheet sets, otherwise we could not have stayed at all. Even with them, we still felt extremely uncomfortable and disgusted throughout the stay.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We will never book this hotel again!!!
