It’s a refurbished hotel but it’s well maintained. The room are clean. Breakfast are acceptable for a small hotel. There’s good spread of buffet breakfast and there’s also egg, noodle,porridge and desert kiosk . Staff are helpful and superb from the security, housekeeping and restaurant staff.

Great location. We really loved the character of the hotel. Hotel is full of great art. Just a charming place. Took advantage of the downtown location to walk to dinner, check out a couple of malls and had great time shopping. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and bed comfort cannot be beat. Service was Top Notch! The staffs were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. A big thank you to Fenti, Sarah and Laura for making our stay a memorable one. Will definitely be back!

Highlight of the hotel is its buffet breakfast which has a great selection in a comfortable setting. The room is clean has everything needed, bed is comfortable. We stayed at 506, a smaller room that’s street facing. Size of the room is fine for an overnight stay. The main challenge we had is noise. Music from the street went past 11pm and the next morning before 6am there is another loud speaker with dance music outside - this went on to about 7.30am. Not sure if this is a regular event though. Location of the hotel has an interesting selection of food stalls/shops. The nearby Nagoya Hill mall isn’t very accessible on foot as roads aren’ designed for pedestrian and pavements have some missing covers for man hole (not fault of this hotel - just that it may be safer to by taxi).

I stayed with my husband in 3505 for 2 nights. This resort is Perfect for all sorts of travellers, business, solo couples or families! Decent breakfast spread starting as early as 6am so you can have a hearty meal before you go about your day. There’s a games room with pool tables, darts and foosball tables - fun for friends, families and couples. A huge swimming pool for both grown ups and kids, a tranquil spa and a kids room for the little ones. The room, although some have commented that it’s slightly dated, it is very well maintained! Plenty of TV channels, room size was spacious and everything was functioning well. Not to mention it was very clean as well and bright with a lot of natural light. We were upgraded to the suite, with a nice view of the pool. There hotel grounds were always clean. We came across landscaping staff keeping their plants tidy. There wasn’t a single fallen leaf in the pool! Sunbeds were kept dry and clean for guests. All the staff of Holiday Inn Resort Batam have certainly made us smile with their friendly service, namely Dinda, Ocha, Raya and Angga (I hope I spelled their names right.) I didn’t manage to get the names of the staff at the restaurant during breakfast hours but I hope the management will also extend my praises to them after seeing this post. The chefs, the live station cooks and all the service staff greeted us whenever they see us. They promptly cleared plates and offered freshly brewed coffee (the caramel latte was good!). Also kudos to housekeeping for keeping our rooms fresh. Location was slightly outside the city area but we had no problems getting anywhere with Grab. Also - the welcome cookies were yummy! :)

The Doors Should be Sounds Proofs. Residential Units Should Be Using Different Lift. Security Reasons. Improve of Breakfast Varieties. Improve Of the Breakfast Tables Surrounding Hygiene As Many HouseFlies 🪰 While Eating. Very Dirty. Staff's Should Be Directly Cleared Away The Plates & Cutleries After Guests Finish Eating. Not Just Hack Cares from it. As The Hotel Guests Needs To Ownself Clear it for The Staff's. As was told Breakfast ends 10:30am daily but past 2 Days when I reached the food court at 9am. Mostly All food items left only the Base Lines. The Porridge conditions was entirely can't consume it cos it's Was so Starchy... The Cutleries never replenish. Only The Door Man on duty at all times to provides great service of having smiling 😃 😊 face for welcoming.

Swiss-Bellin so far everything is OK. Standard and exceptable. Nothing special just standard room. Hotel and the room is clean and staff is friendly. But.... the breakfast is unexpectable on the 1st day I had my breakfast the food is salty so I only have bread and took some keropok eat with sambal belado. And the rest of the days I hv my bread first than with light food. 👍

Stayed between 12 - 14 Dec 2022. The hotel is about 5 mins walk away from Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. There are 2 Circle K across the hotel and the stretch of seaside restaurants (Wey Wey, Alco) is about 2 mins away. Nearest supermarket, Go Go Supermart is located approximately 5 mins walk away from the hotel, located beside Swiss-Bell Hotel and underneath the defunct Harbour Bay Mall. Hotel's Front Desk is friendly and able to communicate in English. I was asked to consider upgrading my room at a special price (~S$9) as the room I booked was small. I agreed since the offer was much larger and came with a balcony. Regrettably, my room was only ready at about 3.30pm, 30mins after the check-in time at 3pm. My Room (207) is in a slightly run down condition with uneven floor tiles, cracks and paint peeling on the walls, water ponding at the toilet drain outlet next to the toilet bowl. The cleanliness is bad too with stains on the covers of the bed, pillows, blanket. The furniture surfaces in the room and balcony were dusty. Water pressure in the shower was adequate but the hot water only lasted for about 5 mins. Bath towels were unavailable during check in and only available at 4pm according to Housekeeping. I left for dinner at around 5pm and the towels weren't delivered yet. Thankfully, they were there when I came back. The view on my balcony was partially obstructed by the hotel's signboard as it is located directly above the hotel's arrival lobby. The corridor was dark most of the time with only lights at both ends. During my stay, I've only encountered the lights for the whole corridor switched around 7pm only on one evening. Breakfast is provided Sweet Corner Restaurant at Level 1 of the hotel between 7am to 11am. The food was simple with options of rice, noodles, porridge, white bread with condiments. Style of the staples and complimenting dishes varies daily. Eggs can be ordered from the staff. Choices available were Sunny Side Up, Soft Boiled, Omelette. The options for beverages were tea, coffee, and orange juice made from highly watered down concentrated syrup. I also have 2 of my lunches there; once while waiting for check-in and once before check-out. Staff were not eager to serve though but still gets your order right. Waiting time for my lunch to be served was about 10 mins. Located at Level 1 is also Alamanda Spa & Massage, which offers various types of massages and spa treatments. They have a beautiful section on the rooftop of the hotel but it could be only used for the higher tiered packages as I was always led to the rooms at Level 1 twice for my Tradition Full Body and Totok Wajah massages. Grab can pick up at the hotel. Please note that Grab are not able to pick up passengers at the Ferry Terminal and some Hotels and Shopping Malls. You might have to walk a distance away from these locations to board. Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall and Batam City Square Mall (BCM) have dedicated Grab Points at the Pintu Timur (East Entrance)

Wonderful apartment. Very clean and worth the price. The ambiance of the hotel is simply breathtaking. The elegant décor, tasteful furnishings, and attention to detail create an atmosphere of sophistication and luxury. Everywhere I looked, from the stylish lounge areas to the meticulously landscaped gardens, there was an air of refinement that made me feel pampered and relaxed. The room itself was a haven of comfort and tranquility. Spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed, it provided everything I needed for a truly rejuvenating stay. The plush bedding ensured a restful night’s sleep, while the modern amenities, including a state-of-the-art entertainment system and high-speed internet access, catered to my every convenience.

The hotel location is very strategic, all within walking distance to the famous A2 Food Court, Batam City Square Mall & Grand Batam Mall. There are also have 24 hours of convenient stores besides the hotel. Their hotel buffet breakfast is simple and not much choices but is good for a quick breakfast before heading out. The cleanliness can be improved especially their bath towel should change to a new one, found out black and dirty mark in the towel.

Love the hotel. It’s clean and comfortable. Great place to spend your staycation. Salute to all the hotel staff. They are friendly and polite. We enjoyed our stay there specially the pool. The buffet breakfast is also good, hopefully can add pancakes or waffle in the menu. ☺️ The location is strategically in the midst of malls and shops. A lot of food choices to try around, strongly recommendended to try the A2 food court for a night food trip. Since it’s nearby to Grand Batam mall, late movie night is also a perfect option to end your day. Massage and nail spas are all around too if you want to distress and relax. We will definitely book this hotel again whenever we visit Batam. 🫶
