Weekend away mother's day present for my mum. If you are wanting somewhere to that is close to the Salamanca Markets this is your place! Location is perfect to see all Hobart has to offer with walking distance to restaurants, the marina, CBD etc. We found the hotel cosy and comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel was nice and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has parking which is great but it is a narrow car park so be careful if you have a large car to try and park it could be a squeeze. Even if you do not have a car for your stay you are so close to everything, you could get away with not needing one. The Lenna is a beautiful historical building with loads of history and character which makes staying there all the more special. Would definitely stay again.

We were due to stay at another hotel but were moved here, which was no hardship. Spacious comfy one bed apartment, starting our first few nights in Tassie off to a great start. Well equipped kitchen (but for shorties like me, the microwave was too high!) comfy lounge and bed - much appreciated after all the travelling to get there. Close to the harbour, eateries, 10-12 mins walk to the shopping centre - it’s in a great location. Apart from that wicked little hill as you walk back up to the apartment block from a long day out, couldn’t fault it!

This is an excellent boutique hotel with sea views. A lot of thought & care has been put into staying at Grand Due with wonderful extra touches all around. With teas coffees & delicious home made cakes and biscuits for guests in the afternoon,all set out in the lovely kitchen.

I've stayed here before, the reason I chose it again is the price and location. Great location with a short walk and some steps down to Salamanca Place. Its a typical older hotel, you get what you pay for and so long you are not expecting 5 stars, its great! I will stay here again..

Stayed here for 2 nights. The bunk house is conveniently located at battery point and a walking distance from Salamanca place. Although the bathroom are shared, there are quite a few bathroom available to use.

Good location. Close to both CBD and Sandy Bay. The kitchenette is very convenient. There was an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans and knives and forks, but no chopsticks. Free internet. Front desk closes at 9 pm, but you can enter and exit multiple doors at anytime with your room card. Free parking space. Luggage storage is available. Let us check in at 12 noon. For sleeping, there is a powerful air conditioner, but only two thin blankets and the mattress is too soft. A$6 for continental breakfast, but you have to fill out a form to order. A$6 for both washing machine or dryer. Free laundry powder or liquid. Wellington Mountain and a corner view of the ocean from your room!

Lokasinya bagus, tidak jauh dari pelabuhan. Jika anda mendaftar masuk pada hari Sabtu, belok kanan selama dua minit dan anda akan menemui pasar Salamanca. Terdapat dapur di dalam bilik. Ia adalah mudah untuk memandu ke pasar raya. Bukan baru tapi okay, lif ni agak menakutkan dan bergegar bila berhenti. Tambahan pula, tempat letak kereta tidak cukup luas. Jika setiap bilik dipandu dengan kereta, dianggarkan tempat letak kereta tidak mencukupi, tetapi ia percuma ketika parkir.

For the best part, it was average. I had really bad trouble with the plumbing in my room - the plug hole gurgled all night, two nights in a row. I DID mention it to perception but was told ”it was probably because we were full, and everyone was probably using hot water at the same time” - no exchange of room or anything. My rubbish bin was left unemptied for 3 days. Also, the noise was really annoying in the foyer area, both mornings, and in the evening - my room was 3 doors from it - constant chat, doors opening and shutting etc - so was basically 3 nights of no sleep for me, Flipside, good location, but the windows in the room were way too high to even get a view, which the wall was facing. Disappointing experience all round.

Stayed here in a 2 bedroom unit on our first visit to Hobart. The location is superb. Literally step outside the door right into the Salamanca markets. Great place to stay for walking around the area. Very modern furnishings & well equipped. There is underfloor heating in the bathrooms which is a very nice touch. Showers are sooo lovely. So hot & good pressure. Would stay here again for sure.
