First of all I would like to thank each of the staff for their wonderful hospitality And especially our hostess Sajana . Sangita and Sabin were very good too. The food at sesame is very very good. Rotis are very good. Daal and fulka were outstanding. Thanks to the whole Sesame team.

One of the best bang of buck hotels in boudha area, kathamndu. The receptionist was very nice to give me free upgrade to superior room. Room was very clean spacious and breakfast was good as well. Highly recommended

This hotel is fantastic. It is clean, accommodating, and in a great location. It is within a 2 minute walk from the Boudha Stupa (the area where they shot some clips for Marvel's Dr. Strange). Because of that you will find lots of restaurants, shops, and coffee houses (try the Himalayan Java Restaurant). But the best part of the trip was interacting with the hotel owners. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were quick with a nice cup of tea or coffee and enjoyed making conversation. I learned a great deal about Nepal from them! Several times they arranged taxi's for us, being willing to communicate with the taxi drivers. The breakfast was delicious (eggs, toast, potatoes, fruit, and beans). I don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else when visiting Kathmandu!

My parents and I had an opportunity to stay at this wonderful Harmika Hotel for a month. We chose this hotel as we had numerous positive reviews from our friends and families who were aware of this hotel's first class service. Our stay was extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Food was excellent and most importantly all the staff at the hotel, and the manager, were warm and welcoming at all times. Once again, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the entire team. Harmika Hotel will no doubt be the choice of stay for us in the future too. We would strongly recommend it to everyone. Very friendly service at front desk. The best feature of this hotel is the lovely well maintained tranquil garden situated in the center of the building. It was a pleasure to sip a capuccino from the cafe situated next to the garden. Unbelievable for us having not visited Kathmandu in 20 years the arrival of good coffee A very short and interesting walk takes you to the bustle and noise of the Stupa. The room was adequate but like many rooms at this price point the only place to sit was on the bed. Our room had A/C but fortunately did not need it. The bathroom was clean but hot water only came intermittently during our stay. Management were helpful and always tried to fix the problem. Wifi likewise was a bit hit and miss. Sheets were were on the thin side but typical of hotels at this price point in Asia. Overall would recommend.

We stayed here 3 times as we travelled back and forth in Nepal, passing through Kathmandu. An excellent hotel and we managed to negotiate a good deal. The staff are very friendly and cooperative - just tell the chef what you want and he'll go and buy it in the local market. Comfortable beds and hot showers.

Stayed 4 wonderful nights at Shambaling boutique hotel. And loved every minute of it. It is a very beautiful, intimate, tranquil oasis away from all the busyness of Kathmandu. A hidden gem in a little side street, just a convenient 5 minute walk to Boudhanath Stupa. Lovely spacious rooms, comfy beds. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast in the pretty garden each morning was a perfect way to wake up. Quiet and serene. Most importantly the amazing staff are all very friendly, kind and go the extra mile to ensure our stay was wonderful. The massages at the spa was pretty nice too. Thank you to everyone at Shambaling!

Stayed for a few days, looks like this hotel just had a renovation ( everything) is new and clean The staff was very help full and friendly The room which i stayed in was perfectly clean and new bedsheets and towels were provided it also had a balcony;) City centre is like 35 min walking and by car/bike 10min. Will definitely book this hotel again when i visit Kathmandu.
