A beautiful & peacefully located, family run hotel with wonderful leisure facilities. Plenty of parking, but it is walkable from train station, although a weary traveller can use the bus that stops nearby or the hotel can arrange transfer. Built by current family owners to serve ski & Winter sports visitors, Hotel Brunnenhof is equally well suited to the Summer visitor with wonderful walking & exploring on the doorstep. Czech Republic border is moments away. Not so many restaurants or shops open in Summer & the village will be generally gearing up for the Winter season, but we loved that the whole area was quiet & peaceful. (Check out the Pizzeria for the best pizzas we have ever eaten! & The Smugglers Hut near the railway station serves good Bavarian food & beer & is where the locals hang out!). Hotel Brunnenhof had a wonderful leisure complex with exceptional pool, Turkish bath & sauna. Spa trea**ents are also available. Breakfast buffet was superb & the owners so friendly & helpful. We had a room with big balcony dressed with geranium flowers & a view of the Bavarian Forest. Perfection. We plan to visit again one day.

War als Motorradfahrer zu Gast - habe das Pauschalangebot "Motorradtage - 3 Übernachtungen" gebucht. War in der dem Hotel gegenüberliegenden "Pension Sonneneck" untergebracht. Man kann als Pensionsgast alle Hotelleistungen (toller Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Schwimmbad, Wirlpool und sehr großem Gartenbereich ohne Aufpreis mitbenutzen). Zum Essen: Hatte HP - das Frühstück ausergewöhnlich reichhaltig und excelent, das Abendessen mit 3 Auswahlmöglichkeiten sehr gut. Personal: sehr freundlich, Hilfsbreit bei allen Fragen von Touren in der Region etc. Fazit: vom "Preis/Leitungsverhältnis absolut TOP! Auch für größere Motoradgruppen (bei meinem Aufenthalt waren 11 "Gold-Wings" und 2 weitere Gruppen mit insgesamt 8 Fahrern) zu empfehjlen. WICHTIG: auch ganz "normale Wanderturisten fühlten sich offentsichtlich sehr wohl!! Absulute Empfehlung. PS. hatte auch eine Massage - sehr empfehlenswert!
