Gone downhill in here. Used to at least get a decent meal. Came in and opened up a tab in the bar side, massive leak in the bar, water all over the floor. When ordering drinks the bar staff told me 3 people called in sick so there was only a bar menu being served that side, sat back down and chose our burgers. Ordered them at the bar, but wasn't automatically asked if any allergies. I made it clear my niece has egg/ milk allergies and to check if the beef burger was fine for her, he said yes I think so. Ordered them and we waited 30 mins for the food which is a fair time. My nieces burger came out with mayonnaise on it, after making it clear she is allergic to eggs!! My cheeseburger was also burnt to a crisp and the chips on all meals were burnt too. No check backs on the food as well. Absolutely awful experience, I hope this place turns around. Good luck to the manager!

Popped in for a snack while visiting the wonderful Port Sunlight village. The place was pretty quiet but still had a 45 min wait for food and drinks also took 15 min to come. Apparently one of the staff was “smashing the tips” that day,,, I don’t know how, the service was abysmal.

Went for food yesterday 22nd June 2024. I got the full English breakfast. I always get this as it is delicious and very good value for money in my opinion. Our server was a lady named Shanny, she was lovely couldn’t do enough for us. We have been served by her before and we love it when she is on shift. Makes all the difference to the experience. She is amazing. See you soon.

We ate there yesterday, and the food was so bad we were all laughing even though we were left hungry due to things like, dehydrated and hard veg, tooth breakingly hard pastry and dried up mushroom filling. The cauliflower on my plate consisted of a partial stalk. Oh well, lesson learned!

As soon as I entered this beautiful historic building I burst into tears at how magnificent it was. I was overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of how incredible this place really was. As I was crying tears of joy I received the upmost tip top service it was such a joyous experience. I ordered a steak and yet again burst into tears as it appeared to be woven by a angel, so smooth and silky to the knife and the taste sensation blew my tiny little mind. I finished off with a pint of Neck Oil, another taste sensation as it treacled down the back of my throat I felt warm and happy as if I where at home. An all round great experience

Waiting to collect our car .we popped in for lunch.The menu choice was fantastic we opted for the 2 for £13,49.the meal was good value well cooked and served by friendly cheerful staff, I then went to the ladies ,it was a delight .Spotlessly clean smelled nice plenty of toilet paper ,hot water and hand dryers that worked.It might seem insignificant to some but I think it is a sign of staff that care .and what more do you need.

I came in to the bridge inn on Saturday with my partner and his daughter and we had a great time. Lovely pub with a restaurant & bar side where we received great service in both. The food was cooked beautifully & came out very quickly, much quicker than many pubs I’ve been to recently. Service was good, special mention to Jack T young lad - excellent service & a mega thank you & praise to the kitchen team (Derek & Ste Mc) for our wonderful food, the food was cleared from our plates in record time! We will definitely be back again for another meal here soon, it was that nice!
