Hotels Near Beijing Dongsi Mosque in Beijing

I found a treasure trove of new hotels that just opened not long ago. The location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk from Dongsi subway station, and not far from tourist attractions and places to play. The facilities are great, the sanitary conditions are very good, and the front desk staff even upgraded us to a large room facing the street for free! Thank you so much! It is really rare to be able to book such a large and new room at this price in this location in Beijing. The street view is great and feels great, the bedding is very good and the pillows are very comfortable. The takeaway front desk staff can deliver it to your room door and it is delivered very quickly. Although it is facing the street, it is not noisy. Unless you are a light sleeper, you will not find it noisy. Anyway, I slept very well hhh. The soundproofing is also very good and I didn't hear any noise from the neighbors. And the late check-out was very nice. We are very grateful to the staff for helping us to check out late for free. However, because it was a high-speed train at night, we wanted to stay a little longer, so we extended it for another hour for 50 yuan, which was very worthwhile. But the room was too hot at night (without air conditioning). Beijing was so dry in February that my skin started to break out. It felt hot and dry at night. I hope a humidifier in the room would be perfect. However, you need to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the hotel room. If you are a disabled person, you may not know what to do. If there is an elevator, you are welcome to point it out. However, most guests staying in the hotel need to walk up a short flight of stairs to get to their rooms.

This hotel locally also known as Spring Time Hostel, overall pros was beyond my expectation. First, the location is so covenient located next to Dongsi Station from South West entrance. It is well known that a huge city like Beijing, you are expected to use subway on daily basis. Second, the room is quite spacious for hostel standard. Thirdly, the price of room is quite affordable especially considering its location in the 1st ring. I hope the hostel would maintain the price over time. Cons, well not that important for a budget hotel. The room does not have refrigerator. The room is also daily cleaned. Room for improvement, perhaps a valued added to the hotel, it would be good if the staff can contact the guest such as gentle reminder to book in advance hot selling tickets like the Forbidden City (Palace Museum). In my case, I did not know that it need to booked online 7 days in advance. Well, I guess I need to come back to Beijing in the future 😄 and don't mind coming back to this same hotel.

The environment of the hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room for free, we didn’t even ask for it ourselves! They also left free water bottles in our room every day :) On top of that, the location is just perfect, 2 mins from the Dongsi metro station. All around, 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Dongsi Hotel is located in what is known as Da Duo Fu lane within a hutong. It is within two train stations (DongSi & Zhongguo Meishuguan). It is also surrounded on 4 sides (5 mins walk), by streets filled with small food outlets, cafes and bakeries. There is also a supermarket near by for drinks & snacks. Those who need pre-paid card there is a China Mobile outlet nearby. The rooms are clean. Towel, shower gel & shampoo are provided. NOT provided are disposal like toothbrush, toothpaste, shaver & shower cap. The toilet bowl is the seating type. The receptionists (Gu & Huang) were helpful. Huang even taught us to book DiDi without local HP via WeChat. Do have Google translate in standby, as they can understand & explain only in Chinese. There are two zones on ground floor, so take note of zone (A or B) & room no to get into your correct room. Else room card will fail. Order Taobao if you stayed at least 4 days, as it takes at most 4 days to delivered to hotel. All Taobao orders go into a white cupboard at entrance.

Perfectly suited my needs as a solo traveller in winter of December. Room is heated, has ample space, cleaned everyday, enough bottled water to make hot tea, and strong hot water for showering! Ladies at the reception do not speak English, but they are polite and ready to help. Must use the translator & interpreter apps to get around if you dont speak Mandarin. The area is lively with locals going about their daily lives. Dongsi station is nearby, about 10mins walk. A couple of units next to the hotel is a small unassuming teahouse that you can walk in for some good aged pu'erh and white tea. It's quite a find!

It's a little small, but the location is good. It's close to Union Hospital. There are many places to eat around. The alley is deep. The boss is very nice. It's quiet. In short, the experience is good.

Room is small. Really hard to even open a luggage there. AC inside the room doesnt really works well. Hot water takes time to become hot. The good thing is about the location. Close to Jinyu Hutong station and Wangfujing street. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Overall, if you are looking to stay in Beijing for a few night and doesnt mind a small room this is a good hotel to choose from.

We are allowed to check in at 11am because we came during winter season and it is off-peak. It has 2 lifts. The elevator is slow but functional. We stay in 9th floor and have front view of entrance. Not much city view..it is 5-7 min walk to Jian Yu hutong MRT , mrt is surrounded by many malls. There are mcdonald,7-11 and kfc in walking distance. Si Min Ji peking duck is 6 min walk away. Room is well maintained and air con is warm and cosy. They have air purifier, tea ,4 free mineral bottles . Bath room is warm enough. They have liner string to dry clothes. Building is very old but inside is well maintained. Buffet not much variety but can fill my stomach is good enough.
