Hotels Near Haiyuexuan in Beijing

Houhaiyuan Hotel situated in the Hutong area, and I absolutely love the surroundings and the view. Everything about this area is just wonderful! The room is clean and well maintained. The location is great—just a 10-minute walk to the Shichahai Subway Station (什剎海地铁站）, a 15-minute walk to Prince Gong Mansion (恭王府）a 15-minute walk to Yandai Diagonal Street (烟袋斜街) and close to Gulou Street (鼓楼大街). The customer service was excellent, with staff who were both helpful and polite. I would definitely love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Magnificent hotel that puts you really into the Old BeiJing mood. Could not have been nearer to a subway station. also very convenient as some bars are there and a supermarket. Rooms are just the size needed, nice beddings and bathroom. you can sip a tea and relax in the courtyard...maybe XiaoBai their little white cat can greet you with some purrs

- location is quite good. ~7 mins walk from the metro station. many restaurants along the street. right down below the hotel there is a 24/7 convenience store. - room is very spacious and the bunkbeds are comfortable. there are also lockers in the room for each guest. - the shower and washrooms are separated and both located in the room. not sure if this is a pro or con because that means you can hear people showering, flushing the toilets.  - there is also a common area in the basement that all guests in the hotel can use. however the TV doesn't work and the set up isn't really for you to socialise with others.  

The service here is very enthusiastic. We arrived late and found that the room was not cleaned when we checked in. The front desk immediately changed the room for us. Later, we added another room. Because the room was really too small, it is recommended to book this hotel in the future. If you want to live more comfortably, you should have a room for one person. The breakfast here feels good. It is a more authentic northern breakfast with rich varieties, fresh and delicious. The free parking here is very convenient, suitable for self-driving tours, very close to the city center, and convenient for playing near Tiananmen Square.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff is friendly. Example Mr. Xiao Bai volunteered to help me bring the luggage out of the hotel on our last day. During our accommodation, due to we are tourists, they offer to help us order food through their ** app because we cannot use their ** app. Also during our accommodation, we got some difficulty coordinating with the local tour company, Mr zhang zhi bing also helped us coordinate with the tour guide. Therefore due to so many impressive action the hotel staff did make me feel impressed and really made me feel like home. Thank you for all those action that make me feel at home.

The hotel's transportation and environment are great. When traveling, the most anticipated thing is to stay in a hotel that can relax people physically and mentally. This time I stayed at Guo Erzhao, and its unique ”invisible service” concept made me feel a unique comfort and ease from the moment I stepped into the hotel. Lobby reception: just the right greeting As soon as I walked into the lobby, the warm lights and soft music created a warm atmosphere. The reception staff stood in the right position, smiling, and looking at every guest gently. When they saw me, they didn't rush to greet me, but nodded slightly. This just right greeting made me feel respected without any sense of oppression. I dragged my suitcase slowly to the front desk, and the reception staff came forward softly to help me take the luggage. The movements were gentle and skillful, as if they were afraid of disturbing my thoughts immersed in the journey. They didn't say too much greetings, but simply asked if they needed help. This silent care made me relax instantly, and the fatigue of the journey was also relieved at this moment. Check-in: Efficient and Quiet Process The check-in process surprised me even more. The front desk staff was quick and professional. They did not have too much sales pitch or complicated procedures. They simply checked the information and handed me the room card and a concise and clear check-in instructions. The whole process was quiet and efficient, with no noisy background music, no rounds of bombardment from sales staff, only the staff's soft greetings and clear instructions. I didn't even notice that there were other guests waiting around, as if the entire front desk area was just for me. This quiet atmosphere allowed me to quickly organize my thoughts and devote myself to the rest time that was about to begin. Room Service: Silent and Intimate Care After checking into the room, I deeply experienced the essence of ”traceless service”. Everything in the room was in order, from the neat bed to the neatly placed toiletries, every detail revealed the hotel's care. However, what impressed me most was the silent care of the room service staff. Wei Wanyi, Zhao Zhifeng, Zhou Qiaofeng and other friends did not knock on the door frequently to ask if the room needed to be cleaned. Everything was so quiet. It was not until I took the initiative to contact the hotel to ask for water that the service staff knocked on the door gently. The sound was so light that it was almost inaudible, but enough for me to notice. When I opened the door, they were already standing at the door with a smile, holding water in their hands, and then whispered ”I wish you a pleasant stay” and left quietly. This silent service allows me to enjoy the hotel facilities without being bothered by any unnecessary interruptions. This stay experience at Guo Erzhao made me really feel the charm of ”traceless service”. It is not simply indifferent, but a manifestation of respect and understanding for guests. Here, I can relax and enjoy a quiet time of my own. If you also want to have such an undisturbed experience during your trip, then Guo Erzhao is definitely your best choice.

The hotel is in a prime location, with a subway station just outside the door. It is convenient to go anywhere in the city center. The service attitude is also very enthusiastic. It is a hotel with good value for money.

My flight was cancelled and I was forced to stay over in Beijing for the night. Hotel staff went for rhe extra mile and upgraded me to a bigger room and provided me with essential oils when I feedbacked about the adour in my previous room. The room was clean and spacious, facing Jingshan park view, its too bad I couldnt stay longer for the amazing view. The hotel staff was so attentive, very patient and very eager to help, she made me feel like a queen 😁 Spa garden was therapeutic and calming, I wish I could spend more time there. Lounge was a sexy area, I suggest to go at night time. Cocktail there was average. Gym was small, not comprehensive for an active person like me. I tried both their frenchcuisine Rive Gauche and the chinese cuisine Fu Chun ju. Services and staff were impeccable and polite. But if I can only choose one, its the chinese cuisine, their roasted pigeon was AMAZING! I visited Jingshan Park whic only 5 mins aw. 9/10 FOR THIS EXPERIENCE!

Quaint little hutong hotel that’s located in Dongsi road with local eateries and shops. Situated between 2 train stations, it is a brisk 5 minutes walk to Dongsi station. Easy access to many local dining options, tcm pharmacy, banks, small provision shops and even a 7eleven. There is a local 3 storey supermarket and Macdonalds next to Dongsi Station. We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor, it was a good size, clean, comfortable and functional. The one small drawback was the breakfast. I would recommend skipping it. Look for local dumplings, paus, soya milk or curd, noodles or fried dough in any of the hole in the wall local eateries near the hotel. This area is very safe and not touristy. In the early evenings, while walking, we saw hutong residents sitting outside chatting, exercising, strolling, playing cards and even dancing.

We visited Beijing with family of four people. The hotel staffs were very friendly during our visit. They were very accommodating for our requests. Breakfast was delicious and my kids really enjoyed the food especially bread. The location is very convenient and it is surrounded by food, museum, major attractions like Palace Museum and tiananmeng squares are in close proximity. Everything is great except one minor thing, which is the beds are only twin sizes.
