This new hotel is tucked down a side street in a hutong area and looks unassuming from the outside. Once inside you will be amazed at the beautiful spaces. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms even bigger with all the modern comforts you could want. Breakfast is a buffet and had a good selection of both western and Chinese foods. The front desk was incredibly accommodating, helping us order in dinner one night after a very long day.

Stay here for few nights, the housekeeping sometimes forget to refill amenities and didn't change the hotel slipper. The location is alright just that many taxi driver complaining the road is too small. The service is good, troubling the front desk to deliver the food and etc.

Perfect location for all your sight seeing needs, cool shops and great eats. Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was yummy.

We were super happy with our stay. Hotel is perfectly located in the hutong area and within an easily walkable distance to the tube station. The room is very spacious, the bed is large and comfortable. Everything is clean, new and stylish. And the best part of all was the very welcoming and helpful staff. They even helped us book the tickets to the Prince Gong mansion, which required a local phone number. I would definitely stay there again if given a chance. Thank you for making our trip to Beijing even more enjoyable!

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at the Purple Dragon. The reception staff were helpful with any questions we had, the bed was comfortable and the room amenities exceptional. We'd stay here again if we came to Beijing.
