This hotel is super close to the US Embassy, just a 10-minute walk away. Parking and getting a taxi are both very convenient, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The location is excellent! The hotel isn't right on the street; it's tucked away in a small courtyard, which makes it very quiet. The soundproofing in the rooms is also great, so I had several nights of really good rest. There are friendly cats in the courtyard that love a good pet! The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, are incredibly nice. It was easy to get food deliveries and packages. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if I come back to Beijing.

The room has a vintage feel, and the light switches are the old push-button type, which is great because there's no light to disturb sleep. The pillow was a bit high, and the sink had a slight odor, which could be sealed with some putty. Overall, it was very good, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job every day. I would stay here again next time.

The biggest surprise, though, was the toiletries and slippers. For someone who travels frequently, these really stood out – the toiletries were all high quality, and the slippers had thick soles and were very comfortable. The front desk lady was also very warm and welcoming. If I have the chance to visit Beijing again, I'd definitely consider staying here. City walking around the embassy area is really pleasant.
