Ulasan the Orchid Hotel

The service was excellent, and everything was clean and tidy. We were offered jasmine tea while we checked in, and got free pastries when we checked out. It had a lovely atmosphere, and we loved playing with the cats. Our courtyard room was lovely, nice bathroom, and very warm and comfy bed. We had a sky-light naive our beds which was such a treat. We unfortunately only had a chance to try the Mediterranean breakfast restaurant, but the Shakshuka we pre-ordered (due to our early departure) was the best I've ever had. My friend also loved that it was in a Hutong.

One of the loveliest lodgings I have experienced. The Orchid Hotel is a short walk from the bustling streets, yet it offers a peaceful retreat that feels like your own private oasis. The breakfast at either of their two restaurants is absolutely amazing! The bakery sells delicious bakes and they are hard to resist. The team running the lodging is a thoughtful bunch too. Knowing that I had to leave for the Great Wall at 6.50am, they made sure they had bakes and freshly brewed coffee for me to bring along for my day trip. The map provided by them is informative, thoughtful and extremely useful. Strongly suggest you take a good read and mark out the places you want to visit. Much appreciated Jihan and her team who have made the stay a very pleasant one.

Short but wonderful stay at the orchid. Warmly received we found a clean and well equipped room on two floors. Having a small kitchen at our disposal was very convenient. Beds were very comfortable and the quietness of our room led to a refreshing sleep. The orchid is located nearby the drum and bell towers, other places of interest are close by. We very much enjoyed the wonderful menu options for breakfast. All in all a superb stay at the orchid that we highly recommend.

Amazing hotel. Perfect location near heaps of bars and restaurants. 10mjn walk to metro. Staff speak English and happy to help. Restaurants onsite, good food and coffee. Free treats at end of the night. Bed comfy. Highly recommend.

A super Hotel to spend your time! Fantastic staff, wonderful breakfasts and a tremendous local area.

Great service, the receptionist checked us in smoothly when we arrived at midnight. They even packed us a breakfast even though we left early to the great wall the next day. The breakfast at the Cantonese restaurant is very enjoyable. That said, the room is a bit congested and small. Given that it's a courtyard hotel, the bathroom was a bit vintage, we even spotted a multi-legged insect running away from the shower.

Great location, more than amazing staff and really nice experience overall. The map they give you is superb, and breakfast is also very good. My only con was the fact our room had stairs which I did not realise from the photos, but besides this - The Orchid really made our stay in Beijing feel super special. Thank you!

Lovely boutique hotel in the Hutong. Small, but functional room and surprisingly quiet at night. Reception is very helpful for organizing trips etc. Good breakfast and food on premise.

Our stay at The Orchid, in the middle of the hutongs, was a perfect introduction to Beijing and China. Room was immaculate, quiet, and comfortable, the employees were extremely thoughtful and helpful, and the breakfasts were great. I really can’t recommend the Orchid highly enough!

Staff at the hotel were excellent and very helpful. Room we stayed in was really nice and very comfortable. Hotel has 2 delicious restaurants on site and countless other in nearby area. The map of the local area that was in our room was very helpful during our trip

We enjoyed very much our stay at The Orchid, the staff was very kind and helpful. The experience is nice, spaces are clean and cozy,. Location is perfect, near every touristic attraction. Breakfast is great too!

The hotel was lovely and the staff were incredible - they really made the stay! We visited the Dim Sum restaurant and Toast, both of which were wonderful. I would definitely recommend staying here, a lovely night away.
