Beijing Momentos B&B

My wife and I had a really wonderful stay at Momentos, the room was really well designed and comfortable, the location was lovely, tucked away in the Huai Rou mountain valley with a local village nearby that you can walk through to the Xiang Shui Hu scenic area to visit a section of the Great Wall. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with both Asian and Western options, their coffee was great, definitely a nice perk for anyone who enjoys a nice barista coffee in the morning. We had dinner at the B&B as well, it is 88RMB per person with a set menu created on the day with locally produce which was really delicious and the home cooked flavour was wonderful. For anyone looking to take a quick trip into Huai Rou, this spot is truly a gem and highly recommended if you are looking for something that is a bit remote with all the comfortable amenities you would hope to get in a nice boutique style hotel. Also if you are feeling adventurous, you can also visit the nearby Yun Ling village, when you get to the top of the village, there is also a path you can take that leads you to a section of the Great Wall that is a relic to see, you can't climb or access it unfortunately since it is overgrown with vegetation and the structure has literally crumbling over time, it is still really impressive to see up close though and the hike up was quite beautiful too through the rolling hills, part of the path is paved and easy to access, there are sections of the hike where there is a running stream of water you have to cross, so keep that in mind when your shoes could get really wet.

What a gem of a place🙌 I want to visit every weekend...I LOVED the country vibe and lovely room with super cosy bedding. The staff just warm, welcoming and fabulous. Can't wait to go soon again. Oh Yes! and awesome breakfast 🙌🙌🙌🙌

We as a group had a wonderful time at this modern boutique hotel with cute garden! Located in a quite street with a lot of greenery around. Staff is very friendly; Service is great, food and drinks are delicious. A perfect spot to unwind, relax and enjoy the nature and the Great Wall!

We stayed one night in May as a brief get away from Beijing city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great for our family - lots of our kids’ favourite dishes for dinner and a lovely breakfast of bacon, pancakes, fruit and coffee, which we ate on the rooftop terrace. We had one each of the smaller and larger en-suite bedrooms - both were clean and comfortable. We all slept very well. There was some construction work (perhaps a visitor car park?) nearby when we walked to the wild wall but this didn’t impact our stay at all. Highly recommended.

This place is cozy and well designed. Literally at the base of the mountains is a quite spot to relax and enjoy the amazing food they prepare for you. Staff is warm and super helpful. I can only recommend to go and disconnect from the city noise!

小而精緻的一家民宿，房間裏的設施物品別緻到位，管家服務周到妥帖。鳶尾大床房開闊樑高，端午節入住還贈送了美美的龍舟競渡小香包。早餐和晚餐家常美味，長者家住的秋香和綠竹也都滿意。咖啡館和院子雖小但五臟俱全。五衹掌櫃貓見到了四衹，都是見慣大世面的親人貓貓，蠻適合週末假期來躲懶躺平

導航很準，車停路邊空地就行； 家庭房跟展示的圖片一樣，乾淨、很適合一家三口； 雙人晚餐量大、好吃，尤其是蒜蓉粉絲蝦和茄子，我們一家三口沒吃完；早餐也很好吃； 白色的庭院拍照好看，民宿主人養了5隻可愛的貓貓，免費擼！
