Ulasan Jianguo Garden Hotel

It is a 5 star hotel but you could hardly say that. It is old, outdated furniture and even it can do with a bit of painting. The rooms are smelly. Even we asked to change the room and the 2nd one was smelly as well. The only advantage was the location. Definitely their photos polished too much. This hotel is not worth what it is.

The location was perfect, close to the metro station, so it was convenient to explore the city by metro. The hotel is a bit old. The pool was nice. The service staff was friendly. The Wi-Fi didn't work the first day and it was bad the second day, when I asked for help from the service staff they couldn't understand and didn't take any action, saying that the network was down. I had a beef meal at the Jing Tang Chinese restaurant below the hotel, but the meat was very tough. The buffet was decent.

The hotel is quite nice, situated very near 150 mts from a subway station, making it quite convenient given the city’s hugeness. Didn’t try the breakfast option though, as it seemed a bit overpriced at c. 160 CNY per day per person. The only “not so good” thing is that it seems somewhat on the not so new side, with some need of maintenance but nothing major, just corners in the bathroom, pens that break down, and very minor nuances

Comfortable room and swimming pool. Bathing cap is necessary.

Excellent service and great location.

The hotel is rated as a five-star and its features on paper reflect this rating. However, upon arrival, it felt more like a relic from the past. The room was extremely outdated, which was quite disappointing. The staff was a mixed bag – some were excellent and attentive, while others were just average. One night, late in the evening, the police came to my room with a staff member and checked my passport. This was a very unsettling experience and made me feel unsafe. The staff explained that random checks are common for foreign guests in Beijing, but I suspect it might have been because I had several packages delivered to the hotel. Regardless of the reason, it was not a pleasant experience. The breakfast was good, and all the amenities were theoretically those of a five-star hotel. However, the overall quality and the price I paid did not meet my expectations. I believe it was not worth the cost.

enjoyed our 4 nights stay in this hotel, room is spacious and toilets are clean. it is 5 mins walk away from dong dan station, around 20-30mins walk away from wangfujing street. surroundings is pretty quiet.

The room incl. furniture was alreday quite old (＞30 years) and looked accordingly used. No lamp in the main room was working! Only the bathroom had working lamps. Also the charger for cell phones (USB) didn´t work

we stayed for 5 nights. the maid service comes everyday and cleans. however, the room is so outdated, that it was just unable to really feel clean. it felt dusty, musty and smoky. By the third day it started to smell less and felt better. they provide soaps and toothbrushes and those such things. the beds are comfortable and the towels and bathrobe are good. the amenities were shut down for the holiday. no gym and no swimming pool available. they actually closed them for the holiday so i was disappointed about this as that was one of the main reasons i booked there

This was a good Chinese-style hotel, not too far from the Forbidden City. The room had a bit of a retro look but (thank god!) included a decent robe. Friendly staff and a decent restaurant on the main floor.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit old but it's reasonably clean and practical. The location is good, very close to the subway station and 10-20 minutes away by subway frkm most of the city attractions.

It worth the money. It is a good place to be near of the turism places

Excellent hotel with spacious room and comfortable beds. The people working there are very friendly. The hotel is located in the center of Beijing and only a couple of minutes from the subway. Great hotel to stay while visiting Beijing. Highly recommended!
