Great location and cozy surroundings Hotel’s in a fantastic spot — just a short walk to the Subway (though be warned: once inside, the tunnel feels like its own journey). Although opt for more room space rooms cos they have some extremely small rooms too. Lots of great restaurants nearby, plus a Domino’s Pizza right around the corner. The area is full of charming old Hutong (胡同) houses, adding real local flavor. Staff were polite, room was clean, and check-in was smooth. You can even rent umbrellas 🌂 in case you forgot yours. Solid choice if you want convenience, comfort, and a touch of culture.

The hotel is incredibly close to Gulou Dajie subway station (remember to take Exit E), just a 200-300 meter walk. It's right by the North 2nd Ring Road, making it super convenient to catch a taxi even late at night. If location is a priority, I highly recommend this place. However, there are a few downsides. The biggest issue is that the room was very cold, especially at night, which was quite uncomfortable. The room is also very small; it would be a struggle to fit luggage for two people. Furthermore, I pressed the 'make up room' button for two consecutive days, but the room was never cleaned when I returned. It seems that button is just for show, and you actually have to go to the front desk and ask in person. Also, the XiaoDu smart assistant in the room couldn't successfully call the front desk; you'll need to use your own phone to look up the number and call them. These were very inconvenient aspects. I stayed in mid-December, and the price was around 450 RMB per night, for your reference.
