Premier Inn Belfast Titanic Quarter

Location is good. The room was spacious. Would prefer a harder bed. There’s a mall beside the hotel hence there are some food options.

Terrible experience. When we arrived, check in was chaotic to say the least, lots of people trying to complain about various issues and one staff member who sorry to say seemed clueless. We couldn’t use the lifts as one was out of use and the other one faulty, so we had to carry all the luggage up to the 5th floor. Finally at the room to find it hadn’t been cleaned fully. Went down to eat at 5pm to find the restaurant didn’t open until 6pm so went elsewhere. Came back around 10pm to massive queues in the bar and only one member of staff on. To top things off we were woken at 8am Saturday and Sunday to the noise of banging and drilling from the refurb works in the rooms below us, something we weren’t warned or informed of at the time of booking or before arrival. The hotel was definitely the low point of our weekend. We’ll certainly be returning to Belfast but definitely not to the Premier inn. Our opinion is AVOID.

Paid £155 for one night. When we arrived the front desk was empty and we had to wait for staff to arrive. When we were checking in we were not alerted to any construction/maintenance work taking place that might upset our stay. One of the two lifts was out of order as highlighted by a notice over the lift button, indicating that scheduled work was taking place. My husband and I were intending to have a restful and peaceful night away. However we were soon subjected to loud banging and drilling noises, perhaps from work being carried out to the lift block beside our room. We went downstairs to the front desk, but again it was empty, and after a lengthy wait we decided to take ourselves out for the evening, unable to make staff aware of how the noise was impacting on us. The next morning we were abruptly woken around 7am by the incredibly loud banging and drilling again, that lasted continuously until we checked out. We approached an empty front desk again and had to wait for a member of staff. We explained our situation when she finally arrived and our disappointment in the level of noise that we had to endure. She quickly scribbled a number on a card and told us to ring it. She was unable to help. Upon ringing this number and explaining our issue, the call handler informed us that it was not their policy to issue a refund for noise. I suggested that we would need some sort of compensation as we were not made aware of any planned construction/maintenance work. He again said no. I asked to speak to a manager or have the case escalated and I was told that was not possible. This is without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Companies like the Premier Inn are slapping increasingly high prices on their rooms and offering low quality experiences to their customers. I am completely shocked by my experience with their customer service team, there is no point ringing them. An absolute waste of time! No help or support at all!

Lovely staff, spotless room and a super comfy bed! Fantastic location to explore Belfast and the surrounding countryside. Excellent spot as so close to the airport and centre of Belfast. Lovely little bar and tasty breakfast. Very good value for money

Chris at reception has been very helpful his customer service skills is second to none. thank you Chris for making my stay less stressful. Highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a visit to Belfast. It’s close to lots of amenities. A visit to the titanic museum is a must

Highly recommend staying. Ideally situated for the Titanic Quarter and walking into the city. Stayed in Premier Plus room which was one of the best rooms I have stayed in. Wonderful views comfortable bed. Good food

Booked hotel as was attending a gig in the SSE. Location was excellent and so handy. Hotel was very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Couldn't find any fault even with construction work going on.

Arrived at check in and had to wait 45 mins as there was only one desk working, large que at doorway. Finally allocated a room to find the window was damaged/warped and could not close to keep out wind and traffic noise. I went to reception as there I asked if we could get another room to which I was told that they were fully booked out, but they would get maintenance to check. Upon returning to the room the maintenance person was already there but could not remedy the situation and commented that they "had trouble with a lot of the windows" so we had to accept the poor situation. With no other option we got changed and went down for dinner to the "Restaurant" and ordered, food which was poorly presented and my partners steak was so fatty she had to leave quite a bit of it. There was no salt / pepper on the tables, so I asked for some and was provided with "sachets" for use, we had also ordered a bottle of white wine and had to ask for it to be brought to the table "twice" which arrived not chilled either. Finished up and paid for the meal and moved through to the bar. We looked at the drinks on offer and my partner went to order two simple cocktails. To which the response was "were not doing cocktails were too busy, and I have a sore wrist" from the barman which surprising as my partner was the only one waiting at the bar and the bar was only approx. 1/2 -3/4 full with mostly simple drinks I was shocked and annoyed at the poor service we had experienced since arriving. We therefore had to go elsewhere for our desired drinks which again made me annoyed at the lacklustre service of the poor quality service of the hotel. The lift was filthy and had dirt and dust in the corners which was a poor indication of the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel. I was going to discuss the issues when checking out but had to stand for 10 mins waiting for someone to come to the desk and at this stage I had given up wanting to be in the hotel. I have stayed with the group in other hotels on other occasions without issue, but I must say that this has got to be one of the worst hotel experiences I have encountered in my travelling time.
