Hotel berhampiran Virupaksha Temple, Hampi

We stayed at Clark’s inn Kamalapur during August, stay was pleasant, location is close to archeological sites. It is much better than staying at hospet. Hotel is medium sized,services are not the best. The in house restaurant is decent, food is average ( Local restaurants needs lot to be desired) . Overall an average place . Maybe a little too pricey.

I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but my wife and I had an unfortunate experience at this resort that I believe should be shared. We booked our stay for two nights in July 2023 through an online portal, enticed by positive reviews. However, our encounter was far from positive. The hotel owner demonstrated a distinct lack of integrity, not honoring our online booking and downgrading us to a substandard room without any explanation. It was only upon confronting him that he reluctantly admitted to accommodating other guests who had booked offline. This felt like a blatant disregard for our rights as customers. Furthermore, the environment was far from conducive to relaxation. There were groups singing throughout the night, presumably intoxicated, which made us feel unsafe, especially considering the remote location. I would not recommend this resort for families seeking a peaceful getaway. Food was another major disappointment. We received a dish of undercooked chicken which we had to return. Moreover, the prices were exorbitantly high without any hint of exclusivity or quality. The Nepalese chefs on staff seemed to struggle with the basics. The breakfast was lackluster at best, featuring rock-hard poha. The air conditioning didn’t sufficiently cool the space, and it felt like the temperature was centrally controlled and not optimised for guest comfort. Furthermore, the staff seemed eager to hasten our check-out, rushing us out exactly at 10 a.m. Needless to say, we do not plan to return to this resort. In addition, we faced connectivity issues throughout our stay. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, and there was little to no cell signal. This left us feeling isolated and without a way to seek help if needed. Given all these drawbacks, the price we paid for the resort was simply unjustifiable. If you're considering a trip to this region, I would suggest checking out alternatives like Hampi Whiz or Hampi Boulders. Both of these resorts seem to offer much better value for money and overall guest experience.

Staying at Hotel Hampi International was a delightful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our every need was met throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the historic sites nearby. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals with a variety of local and international dishes, and the breakfast spread was especially impressive. The location was perfect for visiting Hampi's attractions, with many within walking distance or a short drive away. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Hampi International for anyone visiting this beautiful region!”

Ate at the restaurant, the hotel is amazing and the staff are super accommodating. Our waiter Ramu went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had a vegan in the group, we were put in contact with chef the day before so they can help plan vegan dishes. Everyone loved the food, best vegetarian and vegan dishes in the area. It was my birthday and the staff planned a nice surprise. I had a great visit here. Recommend the restaurant and the hotel is the best in the area.

I am giving 2 stars for the cleanliness and appearance. I deducted 3 stars for rudeness and service. The stay was ok but the staff is rude. The staffs lack in communication between themselves. Our dinner was included in our pakage and we confirmed it before ordering yet while checkout they argued about its not included. NAIVEDYAM Restaurant staff is very rude too. We ordered dinner in room first and then icecream. They said that you cannot place multiple orders, we don't have time to serve multiple times, even if they are taking extra service charges from customer. There is no fridge in room(accepted) and expect us to order icecream with dinner and have it as what milkshake? We pay heavy amount for the services and yet they expect us to understand if service is not to the mark, and also argue on it.

In-Room Dining: We experienced a notable delay in the afternoon on the day of check-in. We had to wait for 45-50 min for the order to arrive. Since it's the day of check-in, we're already famished, and the delay in the service was a dampener on the experience. In the night the next day, there were discrepancies with the instructions. Instead of receiving butter phulka, we got plain phulka. Additionally, we ordered a sweet and salt lime soda but only received salt lime soda. Such errors in fulfilling basic food requests were disappointing. Room and Amenities: I booked a room with a private pool and garden space, expecting a serene and private experience. Unfortunately, this was compromised on the day of check-out. We encountered a group of 4-5 children from neighboring rooms (239-241) who intruded upon our private space. There were three families in those rooms, and their lack of consideration for privacy was evident. They were often seen peeking and prodding while we were using the pool area, which was quite uncomfortable.

THE BEST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD TILL DATE. it all started with my family needing a room in the middle of night due to long weekend (not my fault). Thanks to Sameer who was able to accommodate my family at such a short notice in the Maharani suite at a great rate. This property is truly majestic! no amount of words are enough. The suite which is also their highest priced but it comes with the value for money. A living room with a king side bed, enough space to host a party and a smaller room with a queen size bed as well as a separate dressing up area, definitely made for a MAHARANI (queen). The property itself is huge and feels like a small world in the middle of Karnataka. The hotel has a vintage car museum which fascinated me, a swimming pool, gym, spa and a great in house restaurant. The food! alright so I am professionally a chef and I do not enjoy restaurant style food anymore as it is often accentuated and that is exactly the part I loved about this place. Great food that tastes like it was made at home, comforting, pleasing just right and very fairly priced. Just wow! Other than above mentioned things the most important part to me was that this place only has 12 rooms and yet we got lucky, it truly is serene and quiet. There were times when I felt that the palace was left truly to us.
