Lovely ryokan in Beppu, room is very spacious with western or japanese style beds to choose as sleeping option in the room. Sound of waterfall from room terrace is very relaxing. Onsen is very soothing

The staff were attentive and attentive. The room was a private Japanese-style garden room, fully and meticulously furnished. The hot spring water (described as originating from a gold vein) felt wonderful. There is a shuttle bus to and from Beppu Station (reservations required), the journey takes about five minutes, which is very convenient.

The environment and service are very good, but the hardware facilities are really not good. The public hot spring is outdoors and looks like a wild hot spring. The private hot spring is outdoors. There is no heating in the changing area, and there is not even a hair dryer. One person fell ill after taking a hot spring bath on the first day. He caught a cold and had a fever. On the second day, another person fell ill with gastroenteritis after eating puffer fish dishes. There is no heating in the room. The air conditioner is turned on in the room. The toilet and the corridor are terribly cold. The hot water in the bathroom did not come for half an hour. It is also pitifully small. I didn't dare to take a shower the next day. Young and strong people can still try it, but middle-aged and elderly people are still suitable for warm places.

The service staff are very polite, the shuttle bus is great, the meals are delicious, and the tableside service is excellent!

The JR Fukuoka Limited Express Sonic takes about 2 hours to JR Beppu Station. After exiting the station, you will be directed to the Tourist Information Center at the east exit. You can ask the lady to contact the hotel for pick-up service. The hotel's shuttle buses are all at the west exit, and the receptionist can look for them according to the advertisement on the bus. It's only a 10-minute drive away. ❗️The warm lobby of the hotel houses Japanese-style villas, which are very small in size and have an outdoor hot spring and golden hot spring! ! A hot spring with gold nuggets on the ground. I haven't seen any guests for two days and one night, so I'm enjoying it alone. There is a changing room before entering the hot spring, which is fully heated. It is commendable 👍🏾One stay and two meals. For dinner, the staff will come to remind you, and the banquet will be prepared with about 10 dishes. Breakfast the next day was also a 🈚️ oil and water set meal. We called and there was a special car to pick us up. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. There were ********* staff there who could communicate in Chinese. The environment of the hotel is first-class, the interior is Japanese-style tatami style, and Japanese-style pajamas are provided. Looking at the beautiful scenery outside the window is very pleasing to the eye. The hot springs can be reserved privately, and there are also public hot springs, which are large and comfortable. Breakfast is also very authentic Japanese cuisine, very high quality and delicious! I definitely recommend this hotel. Unique and cosy atmosphere, could be a bit cold at night but it's a wonderful Ryokan that has a century of history, not far from city center, if you like to walk. Rooms are spacious and in a in typical Japanese style, if You're looking for Peace and trying to avoid the noise of the city, this is the clean, surprisingly charming, worth every yen, characteristic and with an Interesting pair of breakfast and dinner, might be the place for you.

We planned our entire Japan trip so that we could stay in the most exclusive room at this property with the waterfall view and private outdoor onsen. It was absolutely stunning. One of the most incredible experiences of our lives. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were also one of the best if not the best unforgettable dining experiences of our lives. This is not to mention the friendly staff. The manager of the property Abe picked us up at the train station and drove us back on our departure. We recommend this property to everyone who wishes to experience Japanese hospitality.

We came to Beppu for two days with friends and spent the night in this hotel. The suite was very spacious, and the bathroom really splendid. The service was impeccable, thank you again to them for their warm welcome.
