Nice place with great staff. The whole hotel is peaceful ground covered with tatami. We reserved the private onsen and was satisfied with the amenities. Bfast was a set meal with refillable sides and rice. Located not too far from beppu station, its just a straight walk all the way.

Clean, very good service, breakfast with limited food choices, staff are polite and attend to details. The lady greeter took every effort to get a good picture for you in front of the hotel.

Hana Beppu Stay is clean, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. The rooms are modern with a cozy touch, and the onsen is a perfect bonus. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient yet peaceful. A great place to stay—I’d definitely return!

A fantastic hotel, roughly a 10-minute walk from the station. The onsen is very spacious, and the rooms are also new. Highly recommended. The lady who served us was very kind and gentle, and her English was excellent.

Great experience. First stay in the hotel where our door shoes can not be worn. Liked the room, comfortable bed. English via translators only though. Indoor and outdoor hot springs. Private parking, attentive staff.

Ryokan staff was super attentive and promptly responds to our needs. We enjoyed the onsen and the wholesome and tasty breakfast they have prepared for us. The stay was so enjoyable and we will definitely stay here again if we are back in Beppu.

Small hostel but so cosy the staffs are very kind and helpful. Rooms are excellent tidy & clean. Although hot spring is not too big, it is clean & enough amenities are prepared. I highly recommend this hostel if you stay in Beppu area.

Family onsen was great.

This hotel is really bad. It's a Japanese-style hotel; you have to take off your shoes at the entrance. In the living room of the Chidori room, there's a Japanese futon (bedroom blanket), which is a bit short. The washbasin is ridiculously low, making washing up very uncomfortable! We arrived at the hotel at 2:30 PM, left our luggage there, and checked back at 6:30 PM. When we returned to our room, the beds weren't made. We were exhausted, so we called to ask the staff to make the beds. The staff were friendly, but their work efficiency was lacking! The breakfast was sparsely stocked, and the nearly 1900 RMB price tag is unjustified. Of all the hotels I've stayed in, this is the worst!
