The check-in process was a hassle, and there was no towel replacement service. Perhaps because it's a tatami room, there were no indoor slippers. The room was also a bit dim. On the plus side, the room was spacious, and there's a large supermarket less than a minute's walk away.

Overall, I was satisfied, except for the window being unlocked. During check-in, even though it was self-service, if I had any questions, pressing the help button on the screen connected me to a staff member who guided me through the process politely, so there were no issues. The room was clean and comfortable. However, when I ran water in the sink, a drain odor came up, and I imagine it would be the same in the shower. It would be even better if this could be improved.

The hotel was easily accessible and not too far from the station, which was great. The room itself was clean and spacious, perfect for my one-night stay. Having a supermarket right in front of the hotel was also super convenient.

The stylish interior made for a very comfortable stay. The location in Beppu was also very convenient for finding dinner spots. However, I did notice some dust and the window screens were dirty. Despite that, I would still like to stay here again.

The place I located 10 minute walk from Beppu station. The checkin is done through a tablet on the reception. Unmanned. Make sure you have the entrance pin code. Not the easiest of checkins. The walls in the bathroom are dusty, the AC too. The bathroom is not heated, so very cold. We had the AC on max, still very cold, there was a cold draft from one of the light switches. The beds are comfy and clean.

The room was spotless. Check-in and check-out were both seamless.

The hotel is new and the rooms are large, perfect for families. Everything is very clean and modern, so we were very satisfied. The only downside is that there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage yourself. There's a big supermarket nearby, and if you're driving, you can park in the paid parking lot right outside the supermarket, which has reasonable rates.

Having traveled abroad so many times, especially visiting Japan every year, I've never encountered a guesthouse where the main door code couldn't be found until check-in? To enter, you had to use an iPad for an interview to get another code, and then the room itself had yet another code… The worst part is, the guesthouse never proactively shared the main door code. I had to run to the local supermarket to ask a clerk for help before I could finally get through and learn the code… I suggest this guesthouse shut down… They don't even do this basic thing of contacting guests, leaving them anxious and unsure what to do… It's absolutely terrible! I've stayed in nearly 60 hotels in Japan, and I've never stayed in such a awful guesthouse!

It was fantastic! Clean, spacious, easy to check in, and convenient with nearby paid parking and dry cleaners. The supermarket right next door also had great prepared food. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come to Beppu!
