Facilities: We booked a family room, which came with a microwave, a kettle, a baby crib, a small sofa, some toys, and a baby toilet seat. It's really well-suited for families with young children. The downside is that the air conditioning in the room couldn't be adjusted, and the duvet on the bed was incredibly stuffy, making me wake up feeling hot every night. Hygiene: The room's cleanliness was excellent, which was reassuring. Environment: The hotel's location is fantastic; it's a short walk to the JR station, and there are supermarkets, cafes, and more nearby. The hotel also has a laundry room and a kids' play area on the 3rd floor.

Everything was very good, except the temperature in the room, because it’s super warm in winter, and it can’t be controlled in the room. Hotspring was very nice!

Clean room and convenient location, convenience store right opposite of the hotel. The room is spacious as well. We were lucky to have a room that can see the fireworks from our hotel room window. It was a nice stay.

The twin room was 26 square meters, clean and tidy. I stayed on the 16th floor, where I could see Beppu Bay to the left and trains arriving and departing from the station to the right. Both breakfast and dinner were substantial, and a special highlight was being able to try the local specialty, 'Jigoku Mushi' (hell-steamed dishes), cooked with 98-degree hot water directly from the onsen.

Never pay for your room in cash at the front desk, as the hotel will charge your credit card again. When I reported the double charge, the hotel denied it, claiming their surveillance showed I paid by swiping my card at their machine, and that they hadn't received a large sum of cash that day. They refused to provide me or any third-party platform with the surveillance video or photos. My credit card company stated the hotel's charge was a pre-authorization. Even more ridiculous, I later realized I hadn't even brought that credit card with me to Japan, so how could I have swiped it offline? This hotel is dishonest, and I suspect the front desk staff are pocketing the money. Everyone, please be careful.

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. As an established chain hotel, the basic facilities are well-maintained, the rooms are quite spacious, and the breakfast selection is decent. However, the following points were unsatisfactory: 1. The hotel air conditioning could not be individually adjusted, making the room stuffy. I had to ask the front desk for a fan, but it didn't fully solve the problem. 2. Upon check-in, I found stains on the duvet, which is completely unacceptable. When I reported this to the front desk, instead of apologizing immediately, the staff went to the back room to talk to someone, leaving me waiting for a long time. Although they eventually replaced the duvet, a chain hotel making such a basic mistake should be ashamed!

Hotel has nice hot spring. Single room typical Japanese style but a bit narrow to accommodate 24” luggage with both sides fully open. Buffet has good spread, but the meat stew serving was limited, after 8am there’s no more meat in the stew, left with the carrots, lotus roots etc. should refill as the buffet ends 930am. Like the hot noodles.

The hotel was a bit old styled but still nice and clean. It has a hot spring for you to use. My room was large with a huge and wide window, which is what I love the most about this room. The amenity kits were provided in the room, but there are some more provided at the lobby which you can pick them up if you need more.

The location is decent, about a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is acceptable. The room didn't have much of a view and you could hear the train. The onsen and breakfast areas were very crowded. This Kamenoi wasn't as good as the one we stayed at previously in Toba. The hot springs in Beppu are definitely worth visiting!

I was a bit hesitant before booking, thinking the hotel might be a little old. However, it turned out to be the best of the three hotels I stayed at during my Kyushu trip. The breakfast was incredibly rich and deserves a special mention. The surrounding area is very convenient. The only downsides were that the elevators were often busy, and the step into the bathroom in the room could be difficult for elderly guests with mobility issues. On a side note, I had dinner at the restaurant downstairs and wasn't very satisfied. The service was slow and disorganized. I had to ring the bell many times before anyone came. The staff also didn't seem to know their own menu well. When it came to paying, I forgot if I could use the coupon the hotel provided, and the cashier didn't remind me. I feel like I missed out on a good deal.

This traditional Japanese hotel is conveniently located a 5-6 minute walk from the JR station, and it's popular among Japanese guests. While the facilities are a bit dated, the service remains warm and friendly. A minor inconvenience was that the in-room air conditioning only allowed for fan speed adjustment, not temperature control. Additionally, the women's hot spring bath was recently undergoing renovations, meaning men and women had to use the onsen at separate, designated times.

The room is spacious and clean. I love the onsen there. Amenities is available on first floor. They even provide a bag for guests to carry their stuff to the onsen, not a lot of hotel have that. The location is great, walkable to the shopping mall and Lawson is just opposite. The parking is free as well. That’s a huge plus if you are doing road trip.

Hotel was easy to locate and there is a Lawson store just opposite the hotel. Parking was easy too, in building just next to hotel , just get the QR code ticket from the front desk before leaving. Just that when we were there , there were tourist groups , so breakfast time the restaurant and the Onsen is packed. Overall, it is a great place to stay..
