Hotel is located in an excellent location, within a few minutes walking distance to the Byggen, the tourist info center. The Floibanen station with the tram train up to the Floyen view point is just 100 meters behind the hotel. The airport bus also stop near to the hotel. It is a bit far from the train station.
There are many restaurants around the area and near to the Square.
Room is quite large. Was allocated a roon with great view of the hills behind.
Service was also very prompt and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

L'hôtel est bien situé, non loin du beau quartier historique Bryggen et de la gare maritime. La réception est accueillante et attentionnée. Ils ont bien aménagé la chambre, c'est joli. La chambre est propre, bien nettoyée. Un bon petit-déjeuner est servi tous les matins.

I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.

I chose Scandic because I have had good experiences in the past. However, this stay has been quite horrible. After a long journey to the North Cape and back again, it was important for me to get a good night's sleep before the journey home to Denmark. Already when I/we checked in, many young people arrived with full plastic bags with clinking bottles and large speakers in tow. I wondered, but thought maybe they should go ahead and have a party. I was completely wrong there. The party was held at the Scandic hotel from early evening to early morning. There was running in the corridors, shouting and screaming, banging on pipes, doors slamming continuously, and there was partying and noise that only really drunk people can make. I and others contacted reception who unfortunately could not deal with them. I also think that one or two receptionists cannot handle 20 maybe 25 very drunk young people. In the morning told the young female receptionist that when they complained about a room, the party just moved to a new room. She was very kind and apologized many times. Friendly and sweet service. Immediately, I think that the police should have been called if the party didn't stop. Me and my 2 fellow travelers were refunded DKK 400 for our rooms... But honestly, I think it would have been appropriate to give us the full amount back. Never before have I had such an experience in a hotel.

The rooms are small but clean and have everything you need. especially want to write about breakfast - very good breakfast. and pastries and yoghurts, cheeses, meats, fish, fresh vegetables and fruits. dishes from eggs, a hot breakfast is being prepared. rating 5+. I recommend the hotel.

The buffet breakfast is great with salmon, cheese, bread, fruit and hot dishes as well. Hotel is quite generous in food provision. Besides, the location is perfect if you take tram no. 1 from airport coz the tram station is just 3 minutes away. We walk to the city center and all the attractions on foot... It's around 15 min walk only and along the way, you can see the lake and shops around. Not a boring walk definitely. Room is not big though to fit 3 of us coz there is a bed in the corridor. However the toilet is spacious when compared to other hotels we visited during the trip. Highly recommend.

The hotel concept is nice flashy & flirty for youngsters. Impressed !! Room was nice but bathroom was cold no insulation like other hotels. Water in the bathroom was not consistent sometimes it just becomes cold.

Great room; clean, with super facilities and cleaning services. Room was quiet, with great mattresses, duvets and pillows. Location of hotel is amazing, and could easily explore great sights in Bergen on foot. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and definitely planning return visit - thank you!!

A good quiet atmosphere and well situated but not at the correct harbour for our cruise, but good for wandering around and just near the funicular railway for excellent views of this area. Taxi fares like everything here in Norway 2-3 times typical UK price.

PPengguna TetamuStayed for a weekend at this hotel with my family. My wife, myself and a 2 year-old. First impression was excellent. Nice standard, spacy rooms, well equipped, and so on. Nothing to complain about regarding the room standard. Breakfast was also fine, plenty of things to choose between. It was only when we returned the next night our complaints arose. We arrived by car in the hotel garage, with a sleeping child. Already in the garage we heard the noise from the party/event upstairs. The only route from the garage to the hotel rooms was to make our way through the bar and the ongoing party. That is poor planning of infrastructure in my opinion. Of course our sleeping child awoke to the excess loudness of the music, and we had to «snake our way» through the crowd of loud and drunk people. We eventually made our way to the room, and even though it was situated at the third floor, the noise was ever present in our room (our room was even facing outward, not toward the core of the hotel). Don’t know if that’s because of ventilation or because of the architecture of the building (which leaves the roof open over the reception/bar area all the way up to the top floor). So even though a lot of things at this hotel is done adequately, this second night experience (and thereof lack of sleep) ruined our stay. We certainly feel that it was not worth the money, and wouldn’t recommend it to families (at least not when the hotel is having events / during weekends). (In all fairness: we didn’t make a formal complaint to the reception as it was not an option to opt for a new room (arrived late, and packing and moving with a tired toddler is not optimal). And neither did we see any chance of the hotel shutting down an event due to a single complaining customer.)

BBO JINGJust near by the Bergen station is so convenient to us to catch the light train. And the room is so big and comfortable that can open two big size suitcases and still have enough room for walking. There are free coffee and tea in the first floor and that help to fill up hot water. The reception are all friendly.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Self check-in/out. Min human interaction. Location is not bad. Near the Skyss stop. There's a supermarket across the building. A bit further there's a Rema 1000. The room is small. Two sides of the bed are agaisnt the wall. There are about 80cm space between the bed and each sides of the walls. There is a long table along the wall on one side and a puff. This really crowds the room. Don't bring big luggage here, there is not enough space. No TV. The window cannot be opened. The bathroom is a nice surprise. It is spacious, as big as the bedroom area, with heated floor. The common room is quite spacious, right next to the restaurant. The restaurant downstairs is quite busy. Breakfast is available for extra fee. You can find microwave, fridge, kettle, and paper utensils in the common room. Coffee vending machine is also here. Overall this is a good budget hotel, good value hotel.

Breakfast was excellent along with the dinner we had there one night. 15% off restaurant meals for guests was a nice touch.
Beds were comfy but as in previous reviews the room could do with more lights as the only lights in the bed section of the room were 2 bedside lights.
We would return in a heartbeat though.

PPengguna TetamuI'm conflicted about this hotel. My partner booked it so I'm not sure how much of the following information was advertised. If so I'm not sure I would have selected it, if it was down to me. The room it's self was large and modern with very funky curtains and wallpaper. The bed was comfy and the bedroom itself was clean. The room contained a desk, TV seat, shelves which contained decorations and the bed. There was 1 hook for a jacket but apart from that there was 0 storage space. It had large windows which let in plenty of light and opened to ventilate the room. The curtains were black out curtains which were helpful in the norweigan summer sun. The curtains were several curtain hooks missing and if you pulled the curtains slightly too far it would come off the rail- ab inconvenience especially when they are so long and high. Thankfully we are handy and fixed them ourselves . The room also contained a coffee machine and kettle with a 2 coffee pods, a few sachets of sugar and 2 bags. No milk was provided and when I messaged to asked for some I was told the hotel don't offer this service and should purchase some from the shop downstairs. I would have been happy to do this if there was a fridge in the room, but there was not. I'm The bathroom was large, modern and clean enough but maybe could have done with a deep clean into the grout. The shower was powerful and was a good temperature but over flowed and flooded the whole bathroom if you were having more than a quick wash- I.e if your washing your hair do not leave your clothes on the floor. This could well be an isolated incident to room 508. The location of the hotel was good it was quiet central close to the shopping district of Bergen, around a 10 minute walk to Bryggen and a 15 minute walk to the train and bus station. The hotel was located in a multipurpose building. The ground floor was part of a shopping centre, with other floors containing offices. There was no reception and everything was done independently using your phone as a method of entry onto each hotel floor. So if you do choose to stay here make sure your phone is charged. Check in instructions were sent a few hours before and you needed to download an app to gain entry. There was a number to call if you needed assistance or out of hours it was suggested to scan the QR code to send the reception a message- some people might like this approach with covid but personally I find it a but impersonal. Overall the location and comfort of the hotel was good and had good disabled access with automated main doors, wide access doors into all corridors, bathrooms and arm rests on the toilet. I just feel the experience was impersonal and was definitely a budget hotel.

TTW2024I like this place where I can cook. I eat a lot and eating in restaurants in Norway is too expensive. Supermarkets are nearby so buying foods is convenient. Room has a dish washer but I don’t know how to use. Near a lake and near train station. Cleanliness is so so. Price is good. Bed is next to the heater and curtains are on the heater. Not sure if it will burn so I put curtains on the wall. Good hot shower. They only provide a hand washing liquid bottle in the bathroom. Bring your own toiletries.
