Staid here for a couple of nights while in Bergen. It is a centrally located hotel on a quiet street, completely new. Service at the check-in and check-out was great, fast, efiicient and very helpful. The rooms are big, cozy, very clean and useful with great beds and an excellent bathroom. I liked it a lot. Breakfast was good, with solid choice and some great salmon, but it gets too crowded due to the size that feels to small compared to the number of rooms. The lobby itself and the whole area is quite nice and modern. All together, very good but not great and definitely not sutr why it is a five star hotel, feels like a four star one.

L'hôtel est bien situé, non loin du beau quartier historique Bryggen et de la gare maritime. La réception est accueillante et attentionnée. Ils ont bien aménagé la chambre, c'est joli. La chambre est propre, bien nettoyée. Un bon petit-déjeuner est servi tous les matins.

I booked a standard Double room offered at the official website of the hotel, one person, three nights with a price of kr 4 600,- (ca EU 401,-) I had been at that place before twice and was happy to get the confirmation for a room there. But - when I arrived I got a room in a nearby hotel, the Hordaheimen hotel. There was no hint to this place either on the website nor at my confirmation (why not inform the customer during the booking- prosess about the alternative place?). Hordaheimen is a place mainly for groups, the atmosphere and furnishing a hostel than a hotel. The room was rather narrow with a tiny single-bed (youth-sized, short) plus a bunk-bed (picture). The furniture was less than basic - no cupboard or shelf for the clothes, no bedside table and no lights at the beds, though a nice bathroom. I was a little annoyed that the staff insisted that this room be a standart double and made me feeling uncomfortable by offending me because I showed my rightly dissatisfaction. The next day I got another room at the same place, still very basic. At least a bed, big enough for ONE grown-up sized person and lights at the bedsides. At the web you would read “Rommet har også skrivebord, og god lenestol = the room has also desk and a armchair”. Reality: A wooden kitchen chair and a smal tabletop (picture). Not the room but the permanent noise during the night made me to cancel the stay after the second night. I was charged kr 3 264,- for this two nights. Except the windows the rooms had been clean, the interior of the large building complex seems recently renewed. Breakfast was so far Ok. Internet was good in the breakfast room and a little bit unstable in the rooms.

Hotel is located in an excellent location, within a few minutes walking distance to the Byggen, the tourist info center. The Floibanen station with the tram train up to the Floyen view point is just 100 meters behind the hotel. The airport bus also stop near to the hotel. It is a bit far from the train station. There are many restaurants around the area and near to the Square. Room is quite large. Was allocated a roon with great view of the hills behind. Service was also very prompt and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Comfort Hotel is a gem - from the superb friendly reception to the delicious Scandinavian breakfast to the location opposite Bryggen. For Hurtigruten or Havila voyage travellers, its a 10 min walk over residential houses behind the hotel … but its mostly uphill stone paths so if your luggage doesnt permit, its a Nok 100 taxi away. We were checking out on Sunday for the cruise, they allowed us a lazy sunday late checkout and we left at 4 pm. The front desk staff were excellent friendly and professional. Rooms are small and basic but well appointed. I cant find anything bad to say.

역에서는 좀 멀었는데 수산시장 바로 앞이라 좋았어요 방도 쾌적하고 넓었고 슬리퍼 있는게 좋았네요 냉장고 없는건 좀 아쉬웠어요. 저녁 맛있다고 해서 잡은거였는데 퀄리티가 진짜 별로였어요 무슨 수프에 샐러드 요리 하나 있고 그마저도 별로 안 남아있고.. 연어 무한리필이라고 들었는데 절대 아니에요

The hotel concept is nice flashy & flirty for youngsters. Impressed !! Room was nice but bathroom was cold no insulation like other hotels. Water in the bathroom was not consistent sometimes it just becomes cold. Cleaning of room was not that great. Plastic glass jn the toilet never changed in 3 days we stayed Hotel restaurant was good. Food very slow

PPengguna TetamuHad a fantastic stay in Bergen at the Bergen Bors Hotel! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff at reception, breakfast and in the Fresco Hallen restaurant - excellent food. Great room; clean, with super facilities and cleaning services. Room was quiet, with great mattresses, duvets and pillows. Location of hotel is amazing, and could easily explore great sights in Bergen on foot. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and definitely planning return visit - thank you!!

JJasin LinaMy 2nd stays when visit Bergen on October 2022 and April 2023 both visit are for 3 nights each stays. I love Thon hotel because the breakfast was amazing, so many varieties of food and delicious. The room is very nice and clean and comfortable beds. Shower room is nice and the adjustment of the water is perfect. I love the chocolate they serve in ours first check in. Delicious. Parking is not free but easy access. A good quiet atmosphere and well situated but not at the correct harbour for our cruise, but good for wandering around and just near the funicular railway for excellent views of this area. Taxi fares like everything here in Norway 2-3 times typical UK price.

PPengguna TetamuStayed for a weekend at this hotel with my family. My wife, myself and a 2 year-old. First impression was excellent. Nice standard, spacy rooms, well equipped, and so on. Nothing to complain about regarding the room standard. Breakfast was also fine, plenty of things to choose between. It was only when we returned the next night our complaints arose. We arrived by car in the hotel garage, with a sleeping child. Already in the garage we heard the noise from the party/event upstairs. The only route from the garage to the hotel rooms was to make our way through the bar and the ongoing party. That is poor planning of infrastructure in my opinion. Of course our sleeping child awoke to the excess loudness of the music, and we had to «snake our way» through the crowd of loud and drunk people. We eventually made our way to the room, and even though it was situated at the third floor, the noise was ever present in our room (our room was even facing outward, not toward the core of the hotel). Don’t know if that’s because of ventilation or because of the architecture of the building (which leaves the roof open over the reception/bar area all the way up to the top floor). So even though a lot of things at this hotel is done adequately, this second night experience (and thereof lack of sleep) ruined our stay. We certainly feel that it was not worth the money, and wouldn’t recommend it to families (at least not when the hotel is having events / during weekends). (In all fairness: we didn’t make a formal complaint to the reception as it was not an option to opt for a new room (arrived late, and packing and moving with a tired toddler is not optimal). And neither did we see any chance of the hotel shutting down an event due to a single complaining customer.)

Ttd1213We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel. The positives are its location beside the train station and not too far to town, the great breakfast and dinner in the bar. This is offset by the negatives. The first room provided was on the 2nd floor and had 1/2 à view over a wall. It was an old tiny room so we asked and got a better room on the 6th floor. I noted that there a temporary door to work area but reception advised it would be an issue which it wasn’t until 6:42 in the morning when the drilling started. It was also early around 7 the other days but we had to be up anyway. You should be aware that there is major work going on in the hotel and there is noise early and during the day. The room itself was fine but you ended up drying the bathroom floor each tîme you had a shower as the drain was not great and the bathroom was very small. Overall I think I would consider above before staying here again.

PPengguna TetamuThings are different! We found a two bed room is really more like a room with a king bed. Well, OK, but not what we expected. The room was quite small, but worked pretty well. There is a metal frame that serves as a place to hang clothing, several shelves so you can put clothing out, but no drawer storage. There was a TV, you could make coffee/tea in the room (if you wanted). Biggest surprise: the bathroom was fully suitable for an RV. I could touch wall to wall with my outstretched arms. The shower was the size of half a phone booth. The sink was about 10X14 inches. Tiny, but it worked. The room was overlooking the Bergen Visitor Info Center and Fish Market. One night there were a lot of revelers. Otherwise it was quiet. Breakfast was a buffet, with some hot items, and the usual cold cuts, cheese, breads. Some fruit. The coffee machines are fine when they work, but it seems that guests are pretty hard on them and they were not always available. We were joining a cruise, but at the last minute learned we had to delay our arrival several hours due to harbor congestion. We spent the extra time, with our luggage and kindles in the hotel's small lobby. The staff made us welcome, and assisted us with a taxi when we were finally able to depart.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Self check-in/out. Min human interaction. Location is not bad. Near the Skyss stop. There's a supermarket across the building. A bit further there's a Rema 1000. The room is small. Two sides of the bed are agaisnt the wall. There are about 80cm space between the bed and each sides of the walls. There is a long table along the wall on one side and a puff. This really crowds the room. Don't bring big luggage here, there is not enough space. No TV. The window cannot be opened. The bathroom is a nice surprise. It is spacious, as big as the bedroom area, with heated floor. The common room is quite spacious, right next to the restaurant. The restaurant downstairs is quite busy. Breakfast is available for extra fee. You can find microwave, fridge, kettle, and paper utensils in the common room. Coffee vending machine is also here. Overall this is a good budget hotel, good value hotel.

TTW2024I like this place where I can cook. I eat a lot and eating in restaurants in Norway is too expensive. Supermarkets are nearby so buying foods is convenient. Room has a dish washer but I don’t know how to use. Near a lake and near train station. Cleanliness is so so. Price is good. Bed is next to the heater and curtains are on the heater. Not sure if it will burn so I put curtains on the wall. Good hot shower. They only provide a hand washing liquid bottle in the bathroom. Bring your own toiletries.
