Great boutique hotel in very close to subways, cafes and restaurants. Spacious rooms with very good service. Would definitely stay there again! There are great cafes for breakfast very close by and the owners were very gracious and fulfilled our every need.

This is a really fantastic hotel. I stayed in room 4 for four nights. It was clean, bright and spacious with everything I needed for a short break. The best thing about the room though was the size. I couldn’t get over how much room there is. It really makes you feel very comfortable. The staff are great, all really friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast is very good. This would always be my first choice in Berlin and I’m looking forward to being back there soon.

Wow! What a great hotel. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and very helpful with any queries. The hotel is in the "*** centre" of Berlin, even though it is above Prinzknecht and beside other bars/clubs, there is very little to no noise. I had room 9, with the shared bathroom. The room itself is quite large, it has a great shower, and the room is easy to heat, the window looks onto the main street below. The hotel is immaculate. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The old fashioned lift to level 3, where the hotel is situated, is an added bonus. It's a fabulous original feature. Wonderful stay, I can't wait to go back. All in all, not one single complaint. I loved my stay here and I'd highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

We booked this trip, a weekend break to Berlin way back in January 2020. Remember those times? We could shake hands with strangers, strap-hang on the crowded bus into town, and dance in front of a stage to our favourite bands. Not to mention the trips we could take. We already had one trip in May booked and hoped to squeeze in a few more besides. So, September arrived and between them Angela M and BoJo managed to create this illusion that life was a bit more normal and we could do normal things, like cramming ourselves into an EasyJet plane and fly 2hours east to Berlin. Not sure any city is more straight forward, once you’ve got the hang of the place, than Berlin. And so relatively compliant a country as Germany, where on average, people spend 8 years of their lives stood waiting to cross an empty road because the red light says Stop. (May not be accurate, but close enough). In a pandemic, it seems even the toughest looking shaven headed techno-head is willing to wear a mask. Everyone was, only folk not wearing a mask for just the briefest times was us, until we had a look of shame so cutting it made me have a koniption

This is a great hotel, simple as that. Friendly and welcoming when we arrived. I was taken aback when I was shown my room - it was really roomy, warm and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely with a good choice of eggs, cereals, continental etc. The whole place had a really nice atmosphere and was pretty quiet. I know there were other guests but I hardly heard any moving about. Every member of staff we encountered was really helpful. This will be my first choice when I return to Berlin.

If you reserve via a booking site, please be aware that they charge you a 100 percent cancellation rate without mentioning it on the site. They also claimed that they never received a call from my travel agent even though I was on the other line when she called. So all in all a typical Berlin experience.

You want to stay somewhere stylish? Somewhere that has amazing rooms but also personality? Somewhere lovely with beautiful views in a neighborhood? Somewhere where you'll feel the community all around you? ArtHotel Connection is the place to stay. We did a 3 week tour of Europe and this was hands down my favorite hotel - beautiful sunlit rooms, character, and super chill hosts. Rooms were beautifully styled with lovely set ups. Even when our flight home was delayed, the owners / managers worked with us to make sure we had a place to lay our heads for three extra days.

I have been to Berlin countless times over the last few years and always stay in the area. Having tried most of the other hotels nearby, this is now my first choice. I’ve stayed in maybe 4 different rooms there and they’re all very clean and full of character with a lot of light. My preference is for the rooms ok the front because some of them have balconies and even though the hotel is a few floors above a club and next to a (probably the best in Berlin) *** bar, I’ve never had an issue with noise. The guys that work there are super professional and friendly and always offer a very warm welcome, in stark contrast to the huge corporate hotels in the area. For travellers preferring an authentic German, *** friendly small-business hotel over a soulless concrete block owned by a Spanish hotel chain around the corner, this one’s definitely for you.
