Stopped here for one night in the field with ur campervan. Facilities were excellent and toilets and shower were spotless and warm. Had a lovely meal in the pub that evening and made to feel very welcome and a great chat with the lovely lady behind the bar.... so helpful Would highly recommend and we will be back - great spot with beautiful views Thanks Elliot and Caroline

Booked for May bank holiday weekend. Could not find anyone to book in with for ages. Camping field is small and bog like so you can’t take a car on there, and pitches are on a bit of a slope fairly close together. Viewed facilities and they were dirty and unwelcoming. Didn’t end up staying as really wasn’t as advertised. No refunds issued. Avoid. There are so many lovely sites in the area.

My wife and I had a two night camping stay at the Y Giler Arms at the end of August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a small camp site but it had everything we needed, the grounds, shower blocks and bathrooms were all clean and tidy plus we slept well as the all other campers were quiet and respectful. Best of all we ate and drank in the attached pub on both evenings, the food was good, well priced and we had a great time. The restaurant was extremely busy on the second night and I know some customers weren’t happy with their food delays but that wasn’t a problem for us and we found the staff to be hard working, friendly and professional, we’ll definitely be revisiting the Y Giler.

Absolutely terrible place. Staff are rude and have no customer service skills. Especially the lady with dark hair that works in the food truck who says she is a manager. Avoid the place at all costs. Wouldn't go again even if it was free!!!!!!

Nice site. Only caravan on the site. The camping side was quite full and had a large group at one end. New shower block was very spacious and clean. Just needs a few hooks to hang your clothes on. Older shower block was dated but clean with hot showers.

We stayed at the giler arms, 23 motorcyclists to ride north wales over the weekend. Whilst the majority of us camped, camping isn’t for me to I had a single room. Basic but perfect. Clean with all facilities and warm & dry. My fellow campers were happy with the facilities of clean warm showers and the cafe truck in the mornings for tea, coffee and food. The bar was lovely. Great beer at good prices. The food was lovely also, friends had the lasagna 1st night, it was so good they had it on the 2nd also and again reasonably priced. An all round great experience. I’m confident we will be back. Well done to the giler arms for your service and making us so welcome.

What a friendly pub. Simple honest food and drink if that’s all you need. But if you want a room for the night there are seven lovely ones at pretty reasonable prices too. And top breakfasts as well. We didn’t camp but if that’s your bag the facilities look good and pretty new too. Eight of us stayed for two to three nights to celebrate a significant birthday, and this pub with rooms was ideal. We toured this beautiful part of the world, and a key part of our few days away was the warm hospitality of Megan and Ed. Recommended!

We stayed for Easter weekend and what a pleasure it was we stayed in a large group and nothing was to much trouble. food was amazing all the staff are very friendly and accommodating it was lovely and clean we will definitely be going back for another stay. The views are beautiful and lots of local walks if you enjoy walking.
