Hotels Near Bilbao-Atxuri Station in Bilbao

El apartamento es moderno y las camas eran cómodas, pero la ubicación no es muy buena, aunque no hemos tenido ningún problema. Un detalle le dejaron una camita y cuencos para el perro.

The location of the hotel is a little far from the tourist area, so I thought it might not be suitable for travelers without a guide. But inside the hotel, the entrance is very innovative and nice, Although we can't speak Spanish or English, the staff at the front desk and bar were very nice and made us feel at ease during our stay! The room was very spacious and clean.

First of all, the location of the hotel is very good. There are many public transportation stations at the door, and you can also walk to many attractions and restaurants. The only thing I don't like is the design of the toilet. The bathroom door is half open, and I am worried about water overflowing. In addition, the toilet glass door cannot be opened, which will make it very hot after taking a shower. The hair dryer is placed in the drawer and cannot be moved, which is a bit inconvenient to use. Apart from these, I am generally satisfied~

I thought the sauna was included in our stay that’s why I booked the hotel. When I’ve mentioned it to the staff about not having an additional cost to it when you book online, they told me is part of the spa . This is very confusing as if it was part of the spa why mentioning it and not including it in the spa section . Spa and sauna are not the same and if it’s a cost to it , that should be mentioned. Anything else was amazing . Also they don’t have a separate cost to the sauna only ! I just wanted to use the gym and the sauna , no spa though! There was no possibility to book the sauna without the spa. It’s like 20 euros per acces not per day which I thought it’s a rip off especially when you are already booked with the hotel and you’ve paid for your room! Again staff showed no flexibility , it was either pay for something you won’t use or you don’t get it! Ended up not booking it because I did not want to use the spa , and I thought it was a lot of money (20 euros) to pay for 15 min use of sauna only.

When booking, I specially found a relatively new hotel. The subway is downstairs. The male compatriots are three subway stops to the St. Mame Stadium to watch the ball. Across the road is the British Palace Shopping Mall. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the old town. It is very convenient. The hotel does not have a parking lot, and the public parking lot takes more than 10 minutes. There are many restaurants and cafes around, and it is super convenient to eat.

Good location, easy to get everywhere of interest just by walking. Staff were lovely, warm, friendly and helpful. Good sized room and bathroom, but there was a massive pillar right in the middle of the room which was quite awkward. Had the room at the start of the corridor near the lifts so it was a bit noisy at times. No tea or coffee facilities in room, which feels like a bit of a basic. Went out for breakfast rather than use the hotel facilities as there's plenty of options about. Only there for 2 nights so didn't seem worth kicking up a fuss about any stuff. OK for overnight but not a long stay from what I saw.

Environment: Good, there is a small park on the side, and the court is in front Easy to travel, close to attractions Service: The reception is an elderly uncle, very friendly; the beautiful lady who leaves the store also helps to call the car 🚗

The hotel is wonderful, the staff were very polite and kind to us at all times. The cleanliness of the rooms was unbeatable. And attention was provided at all times. I recommend it 100%!! Very close to the tram and bus connections, although it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town.

It's a nice hotel. Everything you need is there. Good city part around. But the devil was hidden in the details. 1) Upon checking in, I discovered hair from a trimmed beard in the shampoo holder on the sink (while I was yelling and running around in circles my partner had just rinsed it off). 2) Centuries of dust on the shelf and TV. 3) The clock on March 01, 2024 is still set one hour ahead. at 8:40pm I get dressed and run out to a meeting by 9pm. which as it later turns out will be in 1.20 minutes. Answer: the technician is no longer at the hotel today, we will let him know. March 04, 2024, at the time of our departure, the clock is still showing the wrong time. And I thought: ”ok we can live with that”. BUT 3) The room is hot, it's really hot. We Germans and so used to sleep at +17 degrees at night (save money energy and its healthy))). Also my the partner does not tolerate the heat at all (Also if you have age changes or something else... It could be horror). The answer from the hotel: ”It's winter, the air conditioner only works for heating”. This we find out after we have been ”cooling” for a day and a half (but the hotel description has 138 rooms with air conditioning!?). 4) We get a fan to cool down. 5) I discover that the sheets are 50 percent and the pillows are 52 percent synthetic. ((at this point, I realize why they are so sweaty and sweltering to sleep in. I know its subjective). This hotel recived 3 out of 5 in my rating. P.S.: The glasses were not washed perfectly (it's just gazpacho, not oil paint and black tea) The toilet paper holder is positioned so that you hit it with your butt every time you sit down on the toilet, and when you sit down it rests on your chest

The room is very small, except for towels, all other personal items are not provided, even the water cup is not provided, this is the first time I have encountered this, too strange. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, no vegetable salad, others are good. Good location, very convenient to go out and eat and drink. The pillow was particularly uncomfortable and felt that the pillowcase was full of gas. The general evaluation is average, will not stay next time.
