We checked into this hotel after leaving another local hotel two nights early in disgust (the Occidental). We couldn't have been more pleased at our decision to do so, the difference between these two hotels was like night and day. Beautiful and peaceful room with a full wet-room effect shower. Super comfortable bed. Fabulous roof terrace with great cocktails and delicious snacky food options. Highly recommended the Jamon Croquettas. We had room service on our last night. Although the options weren't extensive, the food was spectacular and with great portion sizes, especially on the sides. Very friendly helpful staff. Thank you, Radisson Bilbao.

Everything about this hotel is 5 star. I was so pleased after a long drive for staff to take our bags from the car to our room and park the car for us. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely with biggest comfy bed and very quiet. Although the room was facing the road the glazing is very effective. Great location next to the Guggenheim museum and a few minutes walk from old town, tapas bars and the main shopping street. I would love to go back.

This is a very modern and attractive hotel which is ideally located for transport links - railway, metro and airport bus, and walking distance to both the old town and the local restaurants and tapas bars of Abando. Our room was very comfortable with the quietist air-con we have ever encountered. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only disappointment was the breakfast which has limited choice and is sited in a rather cramped basement room. Overall, it's very good value

Good location, around a 10 min walk from the old town. Nice hotel, clean, modern. Had a family suite which was large. Staff were friendly. Small gym if you wanted a work out. Breakfast was good. Took the airport bus which was about a 15 min walk from the hotel. Ate at Hamburguerisa which was nice for a change - fancy burgers effectively, nice food even though the service was pretty awful. Also had some snacks at Las Muns which were tasty and ice cream at Nossi-Be which was on the way to old town.

500% recommendation. Amazing place at the perfect location. A 5-10 minute walk to the old town, 20 minutes to the Guggenheim and the metro to the seaside is just outside the door. Staff is incredibly Friendly and even if it's technically a hostel it's better than many a hotel I've stayed at. Like in a hostel, there's daily activities but you can choose if you want to mingle or use it as a hotel and not talk to anyone, as the common room is on the subterranean floor. Even during live music didn't hear a peep on the second floor. Comfortable beds, the double room was spacious, stylish and had a great shower. Would always come back here.

Stayed here 2 nights in June. Very helpful reception staff. Our double room was large with well appointed bathroom and large comfortable bed. Well soundproofed, absolutely no street noise whatsoever. The location is great. 10 minute easy walk to Guggenheim and old town area, 2 minutes to nearest metro. As far as bars and restaurants are concerned, everything you need is within a 100 yard radius of the front door. The hotel is on a street lined with them, as is the pedestrianised street to the rear. The cafe/bar/restaurant Iruna is probably the pick of a good bunch. Hotel parking for a large vehicle (Jaguar F-Pace). This is the main reason I picked this hotel. It cost 18euro per night which wasn't that much more than the underground public car park 300yards away. There is a drop off/pick up parking area (limited to 10 minutes only) outside reception for hotel guests. The actual garage door is a few yards further down. This gives access to a steep spiral ramp down to second level parking where the hotel has about 12 or so spaces. No problems getting in or out as the ramp is plenty wide enough for a large vehicle. However, as with all Spanish car parks, the parking bays themselves are a bit narrow and the roof low so be careful opening doors and tailgates. There is a lift back up to reception area.

Hotel idéalement situé dans le centre, propre, réceptionniste très sympathique seulement très déçue du week-end malgré tout... Une mauvaise expérience, intrusion en pleine nuit à 4h du matin d'un agent de sécurité qui n'a pas pris la peine de frapper à la porte pour vérifier si la chambre était occupée, pancarte indiquant pourtant ”ne pas déranger ”. Nous avons été réveillé en sursaut en entendant quelqu'un rentrer et allumer la lumière. Nous leur avons demandé de sortir, pas d'excuse rien. Juste inadmissible. Assez cher pour 1 nuit 190e petit-déjeuner compris. Parking très étroit l'entrée et la sortie par le même accès ce qui est étonnant et dangereux si les voitures se croisent. Dans la chambre pas de brosse à WC et rideaux pas totalement occultant, le jour passe au petit matin. Petit-déjeuner bon et complet mais salle assez petite en pleine saison cela doit être difficile de trouver une place assise.

Met up with old S African friends walking trip. We stayed first night 25 June and now in return. Perfect position - Soo easy to get back to if you have no sense of direction like me. Fantastic rooms and gr8 staff. We met 3 all of whom spoke English and were motivated to help. Right in thick of life food acres to whole town team and metro. River a great landmark Easy cheap tram bus to Santander. Def recommend it but you really need to book ahead else will be disappointed. Absolutely no complaints.

La verdad que elevado el precio para las prestaciones que tiene. Se trata de un edificio en el casco antiguo de Bilbao, reformado para el turismo. Habitaciones muy pequeñas sin aire acondicionado y sin ascensor. El ascensor no es tan importante porque las habitaciones están en la Segunda y tercera planta pero el aire acondicionado si que lo echamos de menos. Hace bastante calor en verano y solo un ventilador, puede que la estancia no sea tan agradable. Por otro lado, el estar en pleno centro, como la habitación no sea interior, el ruido de los bares al medio día y la noche es tremendo. La chica de recepción muy amable, la segunda noche al quejarnos del ruido, nos cambió la habitación por una interior que mejoró bastante el tema del precio. Aún así, el precio lo veo desproporcionado

The hotel itself is located in a great part of the Casco Viejo. Once you get oriented, which is not necessarily easy, you are in a great position to enjoy Bilbao. Everything you have heard about the wonderful pintxos in Casco Viejo is true; the hard part is that you can't eat everything. Walking is possible to many places, and the subways are easy to deal with, especially if you ask at the information window for help. Bilboans seemed incredibly helpful and kind everywhere I went in the city. The hotel's reception desk was also helpful and solicitous; I very much appreciated their willingness to answer my questions and help with directions. The problem was that it wasn't quite what I'd expected. My room was OK, but small. It did not resemble the photo very much. The bidet was in a community bathroom; my private bathroom did not have one. Definitely not deal-breakers, but a little disappointing. Overall a good enough place to be, and they certainly were busy, but not special.
