We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Campione. Two adults, and two teen boys - the boys loved the pool(s) and the adults appreciated the good AC. We had the ”Family Room” which included 2 bunk beds @ a rate of 239.40€ (add 18.60€ for city/tourist tax) - breakfast included for the four of us. We had a lovely terrace overlooking the lake and pool. Parking was an addt'l 15€. Had dinner at the hotel - had a very nice server who spoke 4 languages so communicating was no problem. Food was average - 156€ for family of 4. The breakfast however, was wonderful: variety of breads, hard-boiled eggs, salmon, cereals, yogurts, prosciutto, etc. And you're overlooking the lake! Liked staying outside of Lugano, in Bissone. Much more relaxed atmosphere. Campione d'Italia is right outside of the hotel - took a lovely morning stroll here - beautiful church on the lake. Would definitely stay here again!
