The Georgian Hollies Hotel

We had another fab stay recently with my son and friends and were looked after very well by Dave Jaison Lee Pav Ryan Angel and Darren. It’s like home from home for us. The rooms are clean, the food is really good and we were lucky with the bingo each night. Looking forward to the next visit. Definitely would recommend this hotel. Thankyou everyone for making us so welcome.

Used to come here and loved it, David was amazing and so friendly BUT no more, he’s gone, always had a chuckle and joke with David, he wore funny hats etc at Xmas, we called him Paul o Grady lol. Where ever he gone they have an asset. the staff at reception were complacent and in the back office laughing and shouting and swearing, someone came out and shoved the key and walked off. We we’re devastated, three couples and regulars. Thankfully Angel was in the restaurant, such a lovely foreign lady with class, she looked after us as always but the food has changed, such horrid sausages, bread was cloudy off colour on the edges, orange juice like it was off, what the hell has happened, clearly gone down hill and seems like they are in trouble. Pav on the bar was bouncy and fun as always, some new changes to the spirits, cheap brands but still at high price, very sad and entertainment was dull, drag queen share and not good. Rooms need touching up as scuffs and marks, bed throw had blood stain, very dusty, glass on shower very cloudy, cups discoloured with tea stainage, rooms were not replenished or bins emptied daily, what a change, we heard from someone that the company running it have left and that’s why the place has gone down, such a shame as other guests said in the bar they would not return, we will NOT be returning. Very sad and spoilt holiday.

Our big group had a fab time great walking distance to the city centre and entertainment on everynight. Rooms where average good to rest your head. Shower worked fine. Restaurant was great gregg took good care of us and had a great personality thanks gregg

First time at the Georgian Hollies. Very impressed!!!!! On arrival we was given keys to all the accessible rooms to check which was best to suit someone wheelchair bound, they were all suitable and very spacious. It's so difficult to find the right room and when hotels says it's wheelchair friendly, there's usually something not quite right but the Georgian Hollies have got it spot on. From checking in with Alix to being looked after by Helen in the bar, entertained by Sara and a fantastic Robbie tribute in the evening and fed with gorgeous food by Sarah and Greg in the restaurant, it was all perfect. We go to Blackpool 4/6 times a year and this was a change from our usual hotel, So it was nice to see Greg again now he's moved and already booked to return.

Stayed as part of a group , everything was perfect, food was lovely, with plenty of choice. Accessible rooms were modern and very well equipped . Rooms were lovely and they were comfortable and spotless. Special mention to waiter Grieg in dining room , who helped give our group the perfect stay.

I will start with the 1 star isnt based on the condition of my room staff were excellent and enjoyed my stay the 1 star is based on the one staff member told me when I asked for jam roly poly for dessert told me not to have It by my waiter gregg I think his name was apart from that I enjoyed my stay

Stayed here for our 4th time on 22nd March - 25th March with Caledonian and it was as good as ever. From walking into the dining room and seeing Angel who remembered us and sat us in the best area considering we had not been for a year and a half it was lovely that she hadn't forgot us and the food was very nice. Then Pav in the bar did a fabulous job as the bar was the busiest we've seen it. Always lots going on piggy racing which we finally won, musical bingo and ordinary bingo where we won £115 on the Saturday night, then a Drag Queen, Karaoke, various singers it was a really good weekend. We met some lovely women from South Wales who we sat with each evening and Katrina who was there on her own these people also made our weekend. Glad to see the handyman is still there he always has time to say hello and from our very first visit when he helped fix my mams bag he always appears at some point during our visit and he is doing a great job renovating the bedrooms. Even the weather was kind to us considering what it has been like and on the Sunday it was a very busy day in Blackpool as it was like a summers day and everything was open. I like my holidays abroad but if for any reason I can't go I will definitely be back here my UK no 1 place will always be Georgian Hollies in Blackpool its in the best location right near everything.

Great place to stay! Great entertainment and amazing bar staff… Pav!! Is a vibe :D love it been a few time and will be coming back !!! Food is great staff are amazing too room are clean and comfortable!!! Love it do recommend to anyone who wants to come stay at Blackpool xxx

Currently staying here and i couldnt ask for any more. Hands down the friendliest and most welcoming establishment in Blackpool where the staff will always go the extra mile to suffice your needs and will always assure you are enjoying your time. Special accreditation to the wonderful Pav and Kim who assure your having the best time possible during your stay. Wondeful service, will definitely be back soon!
