Seaside Blankenberge

We arrived and there was not electricity, so, we had to wait in the dankness until someone come back and active it from the central controllers. It was SUPER COLD and wet in the room, and we patiently wait 2hs until it "gets warm" but it never did because they had 2 tinny electric heaters for a big and cold room. We called 3 times the number that was indicated in the reception to be called in case of problems, but he said to us (3 times) that he couldn't do ANYTHING for us. It was impossible to sleep in that illegal's temperatures conditions, so we leave the key in the "empty" reception without someone there during the whole time and we had to look for another hotel that night. We never sleep there. We come back the next day to ask for a refund, and he agreed but he told us that we need to contact ******* for this.

Worst hotel I have been in my life. The heating did not work and the bed was dirty.

We travelled in low season and the price/quality was fine, but if you book here you should understand it is not perfectly maintained and it has it's quirks. Definitely try to book seaside view as you otherwise might be disappointed with the place.

the check in process is awful : no one at the reception. the number writen in the lobby doesn't exist anymore!... we found out that the receptionist spends his time in the bar next door drinking beer with some women, chating or playing cards.. anyway... a total disappoin**ent. let alone that when he arrives at the reception he screams at the customers, the place is also filthy : carpets in the corridors and room are stained, the shower doesn't flush... disgusting... the bed is next door and the tv the other side next the balcony... who designed this, a retard? everytime someone outside passes by the room we wake up... a total nigh**are....

Even if the furniture & decoration is a bit "old style", location is perfect (in the center, beach front, everything walking distance). Excellent value for money, apar**ent with living room, bedroom & kitchen, possibility to store luggage in case you arrive earlier or live later. Will definitely stay there again!

Wij hadden een overnachting geboekt op vrijdag 14 april met een "belevenisbon" in hotel Aparthotel te Blankenberge. We zijn daar toegekomen om 18u15. Er was niemand aan de receptie. Wij vonden niet dadelijk de sleutelbox, dus belde ik het noodnummer dat geafficheerd was aan de receptie. Men nam daar op en zei me dat ze iemand zouden verwittigen. Ik belde dan nogmaals met de vaste telefoon op de desk dat ik ondertussen de sleutelbox wel had gevonden, en al naar mijn kamer ging. Wat ik daar aantrof, was niet voor te stellen. Het bed was niet opgemaakt, er stonden nog een fles en 2 pinten op de tafel, de gebruikte handdoeken lagen nog op de grond in de badkamer, het vuilbakje bevatte nog haren en tissues, .... onvoorstelbaar. Duidelijk dus dat de verantwoordelijke dit totaal was vergeten. Bovendien was er om kwart na 6 (18u15) niemand aan de receptie, terwijl er in de mail vermeld stond dat er ALTIJD iemand is tot 19u. De gerant van het hotel kwam woedend binnen, totaal over zijn toeren omdat ik gebeld had met de desktelefoon. Wij waren niet welkom, en moesten onmiddellijk het pand verlaten. Het geld gingen we ook niet terugkrijgen. Over het feit dat de kamer er vuil bij lag, en het feit dat hij niet aanwezig was om 18u15, daar schonk hij geen aandacht aan, het enige wat hem bezighield was te roepen tegen ons dat we moesten vertrekken. Ik heb dan de politie opgebeld. Die is dan ter plaatse geweest, en heeft dan getracht de man tot bedaren te brengen. De politieagent stelde ook voor om in het Mercure hotel of de Ibis te gaan kijken of er daar nog een kamer vrij was... en dat was gelukkig ook zo. Wat ik vooral wil aanklagen is de manier waarop die gerant zo onbeschoft durft te zijn, om alzo een ernstige tekortkoming te willen verdoezelen. Ongehoord, ongezien en onvoorstelbaar. In bijlage vindt u nog de foto's die ik op dat moment heb genomen op onze kamer.

Honteux !!! J’ai du chercher un hôtel en urgence tellement la chambre etait sale, pleins de poussières ! Le réceptionniste n a rien voulu savoir , il sentait l alcool .Je pensais vraiment que c était une caméra cachée ! Ma fille est asthmatique et elle dormait dans un lit pliant a 10 cm de la moquette sale avec de l’urine d’animaux … L’hôtel n a pas voulu nous rembourser !

Chambres salle fuites d eau au plafond on sone et comme ne pale néerlandais on nous reproche au nez

Nous avons apprécié la taille du logement, le balcon, la localisation, ainsi que l’arrivé autonome. Le seul petit bémol serait le coffre cassé à l’entrée qui contient la carte de la chambre et les canettes chaudes dû distributeur de boissons.
