Hotel berhampiran Monument overleden soldaten, Blankenberge

Immaculately presented fairly new hotel right beside the railway station, but without any disturbance from the trains. I'd a front facing room overlooking the church and the noise insulation was faultless. The weather was very cold but the room was easily kept very warm. Enough room for a solo guest and sufficient storage - only negative was none of the coat hangers had a bar on them to hang trousers over. At quiet times the reception desk is unstaffed and you need to check-in at the adjoining Mercure - breakfast is also served there on quiet days. The buffet selection at both hotels is to very good standard. A very secure hotel as you need a 6 digit PIN to access the main door, lift and bedroom. The price however wasn't ”Budget”, but was in line with an expensive cost of living compared to the UK where I live. I'd be delighted to stay here again.

Je suis vraiment étonnée des commentaires négatifs sur cet hôtel car nous y avons passé un excellent séjour en famille en chambre triple avec notre chien (qui a très bien été accueilli moyennant un supplément de 15€/jour). Points positifs : hôtel très bien situé juste à côté de la digue et des magasins, le personnel adorable et totalement bilingue, chambre rénovée et juste bien spacieuse pour nous 4, literie confortable, bureau, espaces de rangement, TV connectée, ascenseur, gel douche fourni, accès à la piscine et au spa de l'hôtel Aazaert qui se trouve juste à côté, avec la piscine ouverte jusque 23h, le petit déjeuner proposé à l'hôtel Aazaert ou Saint-Sauveur (qui sont des hôtels partenaires) est certes très cher (18€/personne) mais excellentissime (buffet sucré/salé copieux et vraiment très varié). Les petites notes négatives : le prix du parking proposé par l'hôtel (30€/jour), mais à noter que vous ne trouverez pas de parking vraiment moins cher à proximité, tout le centre est limité à 2 heures et les parkings privés coûtent 27€/24h le week-end! Nous avons garé notre voiture en-dehors du centre et marché... Aussi, l'absence de prises à côté du lit était un peu contraignante. Une seule prise près du bureau et une à la salle de bains. Attention, il y a un ascenseur mais il faut quand-même monter quelques marches (parfois sans rampe) ce qui peut être compliqué pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Je vois plusieurs commentaires qui se plaignent de l'insonorisation des chambres... Pour ma part, vraiment aucun souci à signaler. Nous n'avons absolument rien entendu des autres chambres! Je recommande donc cet hôtel et n'hésiterai pas à y retourner si je revenais à Blanckenberge.

Für uns ein perfekter Mix aus Meer/Strand/Unternehmungen mit Fahrrad und Bahn Gefallen · Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und es wurde uns auch gleich bzgl. unseres Autos und der gebuchten Garage weitergeholfen. Das Garagensystem ist hervorragend dort gelöst, wenngleich die Garage über die Straße gelegen und einige Schritte entfernt ist. Das Hotel selbst (ein kleineres Haus) liegt perfekt an der Promenade. Natürlich ist dort während der Sommermonate ein gewisser Rummel, aber das weiß man im Voraus. Morgens und abends war es ruhig. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon war sauber und hatte einen Kühlschrank, was natürlich sehr angenehm war. Es lag perfekt in den oberen Stockwerken und hatten vollen Meerblick, Es ist einfach toll, den ersten und den letzten Blick des Tages auf das Meer zu genießen und abends nach einem Tag voller Unternehmungen nochmals einen Strandspaziergang zu unternehmen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren stets sehr freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit, der Zimmerservice sehr gut und auch das Frühstücksbüffet war gut, Kaffee holt man sich selbst an der Maschine, und alles andere war ansprechend und sauber präsentiert und wurde stets nachgefüllt. Für uns und unsere Unternehmungen an der Küste war es der perfekte Ort. Außerdem hat Blankenberge einen Bahnhof, von dort gehen regelmäßig Züge nach Brügge, Gent und Brüssel. Fahrradverleihe sind in der Nähe und auch dort wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient. Tolle Fahrradtouren sind möglich bis Ostende oder auf der anderen Seite über Zeebrügge bis Knokke-Heist. An der Promenade gibt es eine Vielzahl an Restaurants für jeden Geschmack und gleich ganz nah beim Hotel einen kleinen Supermarkt für Getränke, Snacks und eine Vielzahl an alltäglichen Artikeln/Kosmetikartikeln. Auch viele Geschäfte säumen die Promenade. Nicht gefallen · Es gab keine Lüftung im WC und die WC-Türe hat nicht ganz geschlossen.

We have enjoyed our stay in this hotel with short walking distance to the Centrum. We have tried the breakfast which was good as Service staff offered freshly cooked omelette. The only set back is the route to the hotel which we found a lift outside the train station to the level of the carpark leading to the hotel is very Dirty n Smelly. Upon Check-out we used the Hotel Back Road which leads to the Train Station instead of using the Dirty/Smelly Lift.

We booked this because it has Tesla charging points and we needed two rooms and parking. Had we realised it is a Best Western we would have gone elsewhere. It was snowy and icy and the staff were too lazy to salt the dangerous paths. Breakfast was dire and the waitress (who appeared to be doing everything on her own) gave the impression that she would rather she, and we, were anywhere but there. Inhospitable. The bin outside the main entrance was full on arrival and stayed that way. The male receptionist had nicotine stained fingers, which seemed rather off putting for some reason. You get the measure of the place at breakfast. Every chair is worn out. Typical worst Western. The food was inedible: powdered lumpy scrambled egg, grey mushrooms that looked as if they had been refreshed in hot water, juice made from concentrate. It all looked a bit grubby. Tesla chargers were fine - but nothing to do with the hotel. It's about a 20 minute drove to central Bruges. My advice is use the chargers but stay elsewhere. On no account use the restaurant - they can't cook for toffee!

Prachtige grote kamer, zeer goede ligging, uitstekend ontbijt. En bovenal ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaar. Het licht in de badkamer was kapot, maar werd meteen gemaakt.Kamer en badkamer op en top netjes. Vlakbij het strand en het ******. Betaald (en betaalbaar) parkeren om de hoek.
