My husband, Kevin, and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at the incredible Playa Fiesta, and we can honestly say it surpassed every expectation we had. From the very first moment we visited, we were captivated by the breathtaking oceanfront location. It felt like we were in our own little paradise and it was nothing short of a dream come true. But it wasn’t just the views that made our experience unforgettable; it was the amazing team that helped bring our vision to life. A huge shoutout to Tio Charley, our nightly bartender, who was incredibly attentive and everyone’s best friend, keeping the drinks flowing and our guests happy all night long. On the day of our arrival, Charley was the first warm face to greet us as he left the bar and helped us carry our bags into the wedding suite. Having to say goodbye to him on the last day was beyond emotional. Ernesto, our personal hype man, kept the energy high and made sure everyone was having a blast from start to finish. Our guests were chanting his name by the end of the trip. Salvador, the amazing DJ, kept everyone on the dance floor until the lights went out! One piece of advice that my husband, Kevin and I received when we first got engaged was to focus more on our marriage and less on the wedding day. Playa Fiesta’s coordination team and the hard work they put in to executing our dream wedding allowed us to do just that. A huge shoutout to Tammy, Martin, and Gabi - all absolute lifesavers. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfectly taken care of and managed seamlessly so we could fully enjoy our wedding week without any stress. Here are just a few examples of their genuine care, patience, and attention to detail throughout the week: 1. Our flower girl was craving mangoes which were not one of the fruits available during breakfast. By the third day of the trip, Tammy had a special plate of mangoes prepared for her in the mornings. 2. In the midst of wedding packing, I forgot floss and tweezers. The team contacted the local pharmacy and delivered both items within the span of an hour. 3. One of my dinner outfits did not have the security tag removed. With the help of Lindsay and Tammy, Gabi found the magnet needed to take it off and expertly removed it without any snags! 4. My dad has recently experienced several gout flare ups. The kitchen and coordination team made sure a special plate of food was made for him during each meal — completely free of any ingredients that can cause a flare up. 5. Martin always ensured that Kevin and I were hydrated and had enough to eat. On the nights where we did not eat much, he made sure to send our plates of food up to our room in the event that we got hungry in the middle of the night.
