This hotel used to offer good value for money, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. During my recent stay, I found that several basic room amenities now come at an additional cost, which was not clearly disclosed at the time of booking. The room is advertised as having air conditioning; however, guests are required to pay an extra £25 per week to use it. Similarly, the in-room safe incurs a further £10 per week. These are standard amenities that most guests would reasonably expect to be included in the room rate. The situation became even more distressing when, during my stay, the hotel repeatedly contacted me—via phone calls and a knock on my door—pressuring me to remove the review, even though the issue remained unresolved. They provided me with a vague receipt that lacked clear details, which I forwarded to Agoda, as all these amenities were included in my booking. Since then, the hotel has not responded to Agoda’s inquiries, leaving me feeling both harassed and misled. The lack of transparency and the poor handling of this situation significantly lowered the hotel’s standard and left a deeply negative impression. I strongly urge the hotel to address these transparency issues and to respond directly to guests and booking platforms in the future.
