Hotel berhampiran Pedasa Antique City, Bodrum

I just love this hotel. It’s in a very quiet spot which is essential if you’re a light sleeper in Gümbet. It’s also ‘adult only.’ The staff are great and exceptionally friendly. Rooms are cleaned and linen replaced frequently. The breakfast is buffet style with a good selection and you can eat all you want. On a practical note, the Bodrum shuttle bus passes right in front of the hotel, and there is a variety of excellent restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. On the downside, this is a budget hotel but when I recently went to place a reservation the price had increased from £20 per night last October to £27 pn in May and £35 pn in June.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel from [18 Aug 2024] to [21 Aug 2024]. Unfortunately, this stay was far from what I expected, and several issues severely impacted my overall experience. Firstly, the behavior and attitude of your staff were particularly disappointing. Manager Hilal was very rude behavior, lacking experience, professionalism and unresponsiveness to requests. I want management to investigate on why, she was having such behavior and check if there were room available at 11 AM 18th Aug 2024 for early check in. Manager HILAL was very angry and wanted me to cancel my booking and simply don’t care about guest experience. As a guest, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, which was sadly lacking during my stay. Secondly, I requested one large bed and got disappointed to know that they have all single bed which is joined by room service staff and again same manager HILAL was very rude and telling that joining two single bed is same as one 1 large bed or king size bed. This was unacceptable and not at all in line with the standards I expect from a hotel of your reputation. Moreover, when I brought these issues to the attention of the management, handling of my complaint was inadequate and left me feeling even more frustrated. This experience has unfortunately left a lasting negative impression, and I am considering whether I would stay at or recommend this hotel in the future. I believe that such issues should be addressed promptly to prevent other guests from facing similar dissatisfaction. I would appreciate it if you could investigate these matters and provide an appropriate response. I am also open to discussing how this situation could be rectified. Gittiğimiz oteller hakkında olumlu olumsuz yorumlar yazmaya oldukça değerli buluyorum bu sebeple bu otel hakkında da olumlu olumsuz yanları sıralayacağım Ancak ana konu şu: Otel fiyatına göre iyi bir performans veriyor ancak kendinize şu soruyu sormalısınız; “Ben sakin ve sessiz bir otel mi istiyorum yoksa hareketli ve müzik dolu bir tatil mi istiyorum.” Olumlu yanlar: - Personel bayram haftası olmasına rağmen canla başla çalışıyordu ve hijyene çok dikkat ettiğim için rahatça söyleyebilirim ki dıcağın altında onca koşturmaya ve işe rağmen hepsi temiz giyimliydi, sürekli ama sürekli parfüm kokuyordu. Oteli bu sebeple tebrik ederim. - Odası temizdi. (Duş giderinde tıkanıklık vardı ancak kısmen giderildi) - A’la carte otel için yemek çeşidi iyiydi (lezzete henüz girmiyorum) - Spa hizmeti çok iyiydi. Eşimle masaj paketi satın aldık ve güler yüzlü, işinin ehli olan Fatma Hanım ve Bahar Hanım’dan çok memnun kaldık. Boynumu çevirebildiğimi hatırlattılar :) - Bayram yoğunluğuna rağmen tesiste şezlıng, masa vb sıkıntısı olmadı. Her zaman bir yer bulabildik. - Oteldeki havuzda gündüz ve akşam sürekli olarak animasyon ekibi çalışıyor, rutin etkinlikler yapıyor. Akşam yemeklerinde her gün bir ekip getiriliyor; dansçılar vb yemek için güzel bir görsel şölen sunuluyor. Olumsuz yanlar - Çok ama çok ama çok gürültülü. Otel zaten Gümbet’te olduğu için gündüz ve gece etrafta inanılmaz gürültülü müzik oluyor. Ancak maalesef Very Chic Hotel de adeta kendileriyle yarışa girmiş durumda. Öğlen 14.00 gibi havuz tarafındaki ses kökleniyor. Plaj tarafında ise Hotel tarafından kiralandığını öğrendiğimiz “Millioner’s Beach Club” 14.30 gibi müziği son ama son ses açıyor ve huzur burada sona eriyor. Zaten sahil boyu sağında solunda bangır bangır müzik çalan yerler varken bir de dibinizde bu gürültüyü duyuyorsunuz ve müzikler bile birbirine karışıyor. Üstelik kalitesiz yeni nesil rap şarkılar yarım saatte bir tekrar eden bir playlist düşünün… Biz dinlenme namıma bir şey bulamadık, gürültüden kafamız şişti. Elbette bunu tercih edecek müşteri de vardır ancak bize göre değilmiş, onu anladıl. Havu tarafında hafta sonlaro köpük partisi falan oluyor, o da yine bir gürültü. Eğlence iyi hoş da maalesef eksik yanı “dinlenmeye” gelen müşteri maalesef düşünülmemiş, relax pool vs yok mesela. - Yemeklerin tadı oldukça vasat. Elbette fine dining kalitesi beklemiyorduk ancak çoğu ürün gerçekten kalitesizdi. Sabah kahvaltıları ise fiyasko. Peynirler, şarküteri ürünleri falan çok ama çok kötüydü. - Garsonlar arı gibi ancak sipariş vermek ve siparişi masaya alabilmek oldukça zorlayıcı. Tatlı, çay, kahve vb istediyseniz yüksel ihtimalle gelmeyecektir. Yemek dışındaki istekleri garip bir şekilde epey arka plana artıyorlar. - Gürültülü misafirleri maalesef uyarmıyorlar. Almanya’dan geldiğini öğrendiğimiz Türklere ve İngiltere’den olduğunu anladığımız taşkın gruba maalesef iki söz söylemediler. Üstelik maalesef bazı garsonların yabancılar için

Great location near the center and Gümbet area. Easy transportation, lovely breakfast, and excellent facilities. Moreover, the front desk manager, Mr. İlkay, was very attentive. You can have a delightful vacation here.

We lived at Degirmenburnu residence almost 5 months and it was a really great experience! Hotel has a very good location - near you can find Marina (in 15 minutes walking) with so many restaurants, cafes and Gumbet's beach (in 5-10 minutes walking). Also there is enough kid's playgrounds, it was important for us, cause of the baby)). Hotel’s rooms has all for long staying there (wash machine, place for cooking, dishwasher and etc.), rooms have wonderful views on the sea and the part of Bodrum city. But the best in this hotel I think is in administration service. All of ours questions and problems was solved and it was really quickly. For example our dishwasher broke (it was almost night, about 11 pm) and they come to help us and changed it for a new one just in 15 minutes! And all our asks was solved every time so fast as in example above. I want to say many thanks to Eric and other staff for that kind and personal attention to us and to our friends too. If we will come back to Bodrum we’ll definitely stay at Degirmenburnu!

Отличное расположение отеля. Буквально минута и вы на пляже. Сам отель очень уютный, чистый. Ночью было тихо. Матрас жёсткий, но для меня это то, что нужно. Если выбирать на будущее, то однозначно это идеальный вариант. Единственное, вода в душе для меня была холодновата. Great hotel, great staff, great experience! The beach is close (1 min😀). The breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view!

A very nice play to stay in for a vacation/staycation. Comfortable to have a day-in at or to be a transactional place in between activities. Nice view of the sun movements and I’m in love with the builds of the hotel; unconventionally structured and very interesting. Lots of place to explore in the hotel alone and amenities are accessible and good. We stayed in during low-season and it was very peaceful. Breakfasts were not buffets because of that but they served us anything we could ask for generously and attentively. The concierges; Dokhan and Duygu served us a very friendly welcome and chats the whole time which helped us to get to know the area a lot too!

Very client-oriented reception. Always helpful and caring. Five stars! Was upgraded to pool view which is indeed nice but as well with higher noise exposure (at 1.30am and 3.00am, had to call staff as guests were partying loudly). The rooms are new and nicely designed. DJ music at the beach good but a lot of wasps (must be nests nearby) and literally all sunbeds are „reserved“ by guests by leaving suncream or a shirt on bed before 10am. Breakfast and lunch good, dinner I would go for the hotel‘s a-la-carte restaurant. You cannot order snacks to the sunbed, only drinks. Hotel has a good all-inclusive program.

Not sure where to start with this one. I think this venue has an identity problem and doesn't really know whom it's trying to attract. There are many positions about this hotel. The location and views are great. Plenty to do in the daytime if you chose too in terms of activities, the entertainment team and hotel staff work really hard to make your stay a good one. Accomodation - we went for a club superior, the best aspects were the view and comfortable bed. It was however very poorly lit with lots of dark wood, our balcony didn't really let in enough light, so if you chose one don't get a corner room, not worth the extra in my opinion. Pools- well maintained if a little cold. The quiet pool is the most comfortable we wish we had gone earlier, generally sunbeds are plentiful as long as you are about by mid morning for the better spots. Beach and sea are nice but take water shoes. The bars and restaurants are all very good with plenty of choice even for picky eaters, you also get table service for drinks. Food to a high standard and you'll never be hungry. Here's the problem. Not enough evening entertainment from outside acts. The ones we had where good and the entertainment team double up to put on dance shows which on the whole are pretty good. What ruins it all is the DJ and his team. He self indulgently thinks he is in Ibiza playing to 20 something's as EVERYTHING he played was either BOOM BOOM or very poor club mixes ruining classic songs. This ruined the Glow in the dark night White Night Beach Party and Silent Disco. We reluctantly retired to the quiet bar in reception as we just couldn't cope with it and we are young at heart and love a dance but not to this crap. No variety whatsoever. At least the bands were good. At least half the guests I would say were 40s and up. So mixed feelings there's lots of good but this place needs to cater for it's guest in the evening much better. We won't be back.

What a location!!! I have nothing but praise for this fabulous boutique hotel and restaurant. The view from our room was stunning. Sitting on the terrace having breakfast was amazing. What makes this hotel is the amazing staff especially Yusuf, he was a star. The lovely owner sent us lots of information which helped us during our stay. You must eat in their restaurant which serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. Don’t hesitate book a stay here xx
