Hotel berhampiran Fontana Vecchia, Bologna

Notre chambre familiale était très grande et très propre. Le petit déjeuner servi à l’hôtel est extraordinaire : énormément de choix de viennoiseries, fruits frais et autres légumes, jambons et fromages frais. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cet hôtel proche de la gare de Bologna. Nous recommandons cet établissement.

This hostel gets a 5 out of 5 vote from me and you won't find anyone as fussy as me when it comes to hostel reviews. I don't understand the mixed reviews it has been given by people staying here at the same time as myself? The staff are very friendly and help you as much as possible.....a special shout out to Ciara who is very lovely. My room was very clean and my bunk had a charging point, night light and curtain. The only minor problem are the lockers are small and square so you can't really get anything in them - they need changing to bigger ones! The meeting area is just a ten foot square area next to the reception desk with only around six seating places and likewise the kitchen area is also small with a single long table for breakfast that can only seat around twelve people at any one time. The main reasons for this is the hostel is small overall and also only has three shower rooms with the toilets housed within these rooms. This can be very annoying because if you're dying to use the toilet and all three showers are being used, you cannot gain access. The breakfast is substantial as it's an all you can eat comprising of tea, coffee and orange juice. To eat you have fruits, yogurt, ham, salami, cheese and salad. For the English pallet you have different cereals, toast, cakes, biscuits and the use of butter, jam and chocolate spreads. There's also a coffee perculator which can be used at anytime during the day. Within the kitchen there's a large fridge to store your own personal food items if you wish. You are expected to wash up all your items after you finish which is no big deal but something I don't agree with on principle. I'm on holiday and I've paid for my B&B so I don't expect to do their job for them - maybe that's just me? The location of the hostel is very good and within easy reach of the main city centre and tourist attractions with various buses a two minute walk from the front door and the main railway station just a fifteen minute walk away

Aria condizionata rumorosissima, insonorizzazione a dir poco assente. Camera da paura. Acqua calda arrivata dopo 10 minuti che il rubinetto era aperto, connessione WiFi assente, linea telefonica non funzionante, quindi per ogni qualsiasi richiesta o lamentela devi scendere in reception, lenzuola da rivedere cioè segnate dal tempo o da lavaggio errato, bagno troppo trascurato polveroso con supporto per tenda doccia arrugginito da prendersi qualcosa, polvere ovunque. Dopo essere sceso alla reception il receptionist voleva cambiarmi la stanza ma la titolare a voluto che risalissimo in stanza per trovare la soluzione a una cosa a dir poco stravagante e alla fine la risposta della titolare è stata: ma è solo polvere delle lenzuola chi si forma mentre vengono effettuate le camere. La nuova gestione non ha forse ben capito com'è e cos'è l'hoteleri in italia. Per un 4 stelle manca tutto soprattutto per quanto si spende. Direi che un bel 1 e tanto come valutazione. Spero che nel tempo migliorino le condizioni per poter ritornare ad essere un 4 stelle.

Thank you for a lovely stay. It was very clean and comfortable room (305) with a nice hot shower and fluffy pillows, I couldn’t fault the room. The breakfast was yummy and you could ask for special made coffee cappuccino was amazing. I enjoyed walking everywhere in Bologna so didn’t mind that the hotel wasn’t as close to city centre as other hotels. But there are public transport options if you wish. I had to walk to try to burn off all the lovely food 🍝 😅😀 Bologna was glorious thank you

Situato vicino stazione centrale ma c’è bisogno di taxi per arrivarci … dalla stazione ci vogliono circa 7/8 minuti .., hotel molto pulito servizio alle reception veloce cordiale è molto disponibile…. camere molto belle e super tecnologiche pulizia ottima (la mia era la 339) colazione al buffet molto abbondante e tutto molto buono con soluzione diverse per soddisfare tutte le esigenze …. con il taxi con una decina di minuti si raggiunge subito il centro .., lo consiglio vivamente a tutti … aggiungo per concludere qualità del sonno ottima e doccia nel bagno maxxi ….. da provare assolutamente

The location is near maggiore Hospital, and around 49 minutes walking from city center. There, you can also reach by bus-line 13. Tickets you can find at the reception. From hotel to the airport you have 2 good options: a taxi or the bus 944 which stops at Maggiore Hospital. Marconi express train leads you to Bologna centrale- one way ticket 9.20 euro. The bus is 4 euro. The taxi from hotel to airport was 15 euro. The staff at the reception is extremely helpful and kind, they provide you maps, informations that you need. If you did not book with breakfast, you can buy at the hotel. Very good breakfast- I do recommend. The bar is open 24 hours. The hotel has a little patio where you can stay to drink a coffee or smoke. Also bikes rentals available, Wi-fi, parking spot and also charging station for electric cars. The rooms are not big but enough. The bed is very comfortable. All toiletries provided. Also free minibar: water and peanuts and cookies. Once again the big plus of the hotel is the amazing staff.

This was a lovely hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. I booked it as there was a pool which I thought would be good after a day in Bologna but what I didn't take cognisance of was the distance from town centre. That being said the taxis were relatively cheap. The room was excellent size with a fab bathroom with a bath and separate shower. It was spotless. There was a good selection at breakfast which also catered for gluten free. I would stay here again if I go back to Bologna

Albergo in posizione buona x autostrada e zona fiera. Struttura rilevata da poco a detta loro .Stanza buona livello di pulizia , nella media e bagno da rivedere le porte.O vai in bagno o apri la porta .Vorrei conoscere il Leonardo Da Vinci che ha progettato qst stanze in che stato era. Spero che accettino qst critica come consiglio. Colazione poco assortita, poca scelta di yogurt e poca scelta di salato. DA RIVEDERE

Struttura bella con un grande potenziale, posizione ottima e fermata autobus a pochissimi metri, il bus numero 14 arriva direttamente in centro. Colazione discreta. Pulizia delle camere carente, organizzazione delle camere pessima (lenzuola sporche, capelli di altra gente trovarti sul letto, carta igenica spesso mancante dopo il riordino, da un 4 stelle non ci si aspetta una pulizia carente e un servizio approssimativo. Il tutto è stato segnalato ed abbiamo ricevuto un semplice ”mi dispiace” dalla reception. Personale ”addormentato ” praticamente quasi incompetente. Tutto sommato il soggiorno è stato buono.. letto grande,comodo. La prossima volta però valuteremo un altra struttura.

We checked in as part of a tour group at around 8 pm from Rome. We were tired and wanted to sleep, but discovered that our room's AC wasn't working. We included a picture of it with no display. Buttons are not responding at all. We ask our tour leader to help us get this problem fixed. Had a big day tomorrow, so we needed as much rest as we could. Front desk said they'd fix the problem, but no one showed up to our room. After waiting for sometime, they said they had fixed it from their end, but it was clearly not working at all. At almost 10 pm, we were told by our tour group leader that they were going to switch us to a different room. Frustrated, because we had already unpacked our things/clothes so we could get up and move early morning, we now had to repack everything then unpack again. What's worse is, they didn't have anyone from the hotel itself assist us with transferring, but had our tour leader act as their bellboy! They gave an excuse that they were understaffed. No apologies,no compensation, no thoughtfulness or professionalism. It was even borderline racism because they used our tour guide as their bellboy when this whole fiasco was their fault! Just because we're Filipino doesn't mean we get treated worst than any other paying guest of this hotel. We're very disappointed with their service, and will spread our negative experience with as many review sites as we can. This NOT how you treat guests of your hotel.
