B&B Chez Moi

Would never go here or recommend this place. The very small room was filled with the smell of sewerage which was coming from their ‘courtyard’ (see photos of this ) - we couldn’t have window open due to the intensity of the smell and there was no air com as this had been disconnected! Owner was unhelpful and quite aggressive in her approach to us. We have asked for compensation as we had to book , move and pay for new accommodation after first night here, however these have refused to offer anything saying they were going to get it sorted - however we waited until past 11am the next day and after calling the owner and manger got no response - we felt we had no option but to leave as this was a serious health hazard and Bologna was having unseasonably warm weather and we needed either air con or to be able to open the window .

The location was good. Everything was really walkable. 30min walk away from the train station, it almost put me off, but Bologna is a really good city to walk with suitcases (we got a huge suitcase and a small one). The B&B was in a quiet location. The host that received us was super helpful, giving us all his favourites food spots. There is not in-front desk so if you are not there at 3pm for the check in. Make sure to let them know your ETA in time. The room was spacious and clean with unique features like the brick ceiling and bar chairs. There were lots of goodies inside the room like Nespresso machine, a good sort of teas and biscuits. Extra pillows and blankets. We would definitely book it again if we come back to Bologna.

The property is clean and staff that checked us in very helpful. Bed is typical not cushiony but clean linens and bathroom is spacious with heated towel rack. Walkable to city center and dining. The only thing will be had a hard time to find the lights at the hallway of the building and it was dark.

Just checked out of Chez Moi, stayed for two nights with my Husband for a quick visit to Bologna. We have really enjoyed our stay here, location is very good just a short walk into Bologna then everything at your feet to explore. Clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Great shower and use of Coffee machine. Even a hair dryer. Even has a small fridge with drinks priced very reasonable. Lovely host when we arrived. Also the breakfast included at Bar Jenny was more than sufficient. Lovely coffee and fab croissants, friendly staff there too. Had a couple of nice Mojitos night before and great ambience people watching. All in all great affordable place to stay in Bologna would highly recommend. One small tip when you arrive at property was a little daunting as we couldn’t see how to enter property once inside quite dark and very quiet. Once inside you need to walk to first floor and press door bell. inside it’s a lovely clean B&B that will not disappoint. Thank you Chez Moi will love to visit you again in near future.

Very comfortable unit and well located in relation to central Bologna

The property is located in the old town, which is convenient. But since it is the limited traffic zone, you need to arrange your arrival with the owner in advance in order to avoid getting fines later. Francesco is very helpful. Even though the building is very old, rooms are well remodeled with all necessary amenities. However, there is no elevator, so you have to lift your luggage by stairs. Breakfast is ok in a small street cafe.

The stay is perfect. The room is squeakily clean. The reception is very nice. My plane was delayed but they still extend the reception for me. In the room there’s air conditioning and tea making facilities. I will definitely recommend to others

Camera da 3 bella, confortevole, soprattutto pulita e ben insonorizzata una volta chiusa la finestra non si sente più alcun rumore provenire dalla strada... Bello e comodo anche il bagno fornito di tutto. Il ragazzo che ci ha accolto gentilissimo ci ha acceso il riscaldamento e in poco la stanza era calda. Comodo per raggiungere il centro. Non avendo incluso la colazoone noi l'abbiamo fatta sotto ai portici in una ottima pasticceria lì vicino.

Dalle foto le camere sembrano molto più ampie, ma...... Premesso che c'era una fiera importante in città, e le disponibilità di posti letto erano sc****, la scelta è ricaduta su questo b&b che dalle recensioni aveva un buon credito. I contatti telefonici con i gestori sono stati estremamente cordiali e si è respirata un' aria di gentilezza e accoglienza. La struttura però è parecchio diversa dalle aspettative. Innanzitutto , parliamo di un appartamento adibito a b&b e non costruito appositamente, il corridoio che porta alle camere piuttosto angusto, ma la sorpresa è stata l' arrivo in camera. I mq sono magicamente spariti, dalle foto si immaginava una camera ampia, invece dal letto al muro si passa appena. Il bagno carino. L'affaccio sull'interno del palazzo, va bene dai almeno silenzioso. Bollino rosso sul l'insonorizzazione! Non pensate ad alta voce perché anche i respiri arrivano ovunque. La colazione è presso un bar vicino, buona ma non sfarzosa. Che dire del prezzo, una follia! Se ci fosse una proporzione un hotel, con tutti i servizi a disposizione dovrebbe costare dieci volte tanto, invece ......
