Terletak jauh dari lalu lintas Midlothian Turnpike yang sibuk, seseorang tidak akan percaya terdapat kota metropolis yang sibuk di sebalik pokok-pokok! I wanted to write this review for anyone who is looking for a good ADA accessible room, because this one is better than average. First of all, the room was located on the second floor, and is close to the elevator, so it is very easy to get in and out. The room was one of the few designated accessible rooms that I felt deserved that designation. The doorways were wide enough, the room was large enough that someone in a wheelchair or scooter could turn in, and actually get a wheelchair between the beds. There was sufficient turning radius into the bathroom, and enough room in the bathroom to turn around. This room did not have a roll-in shower, but the edges of the tub were low enough, and there were two bars (at different levels) on all three sides, as well as a fold-down shower seat. Given the overall quality of this accessible room, I hate to quibble, but there was one big issue and one small one, so in the spirit of trying to make a good thing better, I am going to mention them. The big quibble was the height of the bed. The beds were not just high, but VERY high. Beautiful linens, great pillows, nice mattresses--if you could get in them. I asked for a step stool, but they didn't have one. I ended up McGyvering a step stool out of some books, and that worked for me. But, if you have to transfer directly from a chair to the bed, I can't imagine how you would do it without help. Just lowering one of the beds would make this room practically perfect. The one other tiny quibble was the location of the soap and shampoo in the shower. It was high up on the back wall of the tub, too high for me to reach. That was more easily managed, but putting that lower in an ADA room (or providing old-fashioned travel size soap and shampoo in ADA rooms) would make it even nicer.

Excellent reception and meal service staff, spotless room, very nice dinner, very good breakfast, safe and convenient location. Would stay again!

Only stayed one night and there was a large group there. This large group took over the whole place. In the TV area where the lounge was filled with loud adults and kids. We headed to our room about 8:30 that evening after going out to have a quieter time. The kids were knocking on the door as they were running up and down the hall way, yes, the parents didn't stop them. I thought surely this will calm down by 12 midnight. Well I was wrong, this when on until 3:09AM in the hallway people running talking while going up and down the hallway. Then the groups out side in front of the hotel talking loud.. It was so loud you thought it was in the room. We left the TV on to see if that helped, it didn't. The front desk should have done something to stop this behavior. I was a paying guest also. Very disappointed. I told the young guy who checked me out and he said they had had trouble with them all week. So I had to pay $ 200.00 to stay there and not sleep. The front desk should have stopped the group from disturbing the other guest. I was very upset and very tried there next morning. I all I got was I am sorry, they are leaving today.
