Hotel berhampiran Montebelo Chapel, Bonfim

A clean, modern and friendly hotel in a great location, great breakfast too! I will book again, for visits as my daughter lives in Porto. It was nice and quiet when we stayed and great for escaping the hustle and bustle of Porto. The manager also regularly checked in with us as to how our stay was.

This place is actually an old motel that has clearly gone bankrupt and still tries to get naive customers to a trap. It smells of mold, there is no shower ( just a broken whirlpool ), there is no maintenance and the staff is clearly unwilling to look after the guests. To make it worse - if possible - they tried to cheat Booking pretending I was not there ( although I have my credit cards statements to prove ) just not to pay their commission. When I wrote this on the Booking review the owner was extremely impolite and aggressive , as his plote was denounced. Honestly, it makes no sense staying there even if it was for free. Run away from this joint!!

Buon hotel. Non è nel centro storico ma poco lontano. Si trova in prossimità di due stazioni metro, la più vicina è Marques che si trova a 500 metri. Non abbiamo trovato grosse difficoltà nel parcheggiare la macchina, specie la domenica. Stanza pulita abbastanza grande, bagno completo di bidet. Staff molto attento, hanno rapidamente sistemato un piccolo problema di manutenzione. Letti molto comodi. Buona la prima colazione con vasta scelta di dolce e salato e frutta. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

This Hotel provides great price for quality service. Due to its proximity to Campo 24 Augusto metro station you can easily access wherever you want in Porto and can easily reach the Hotel from Airport. The strength of this Hotel is its Management Team and excellent service. I would name Marina for her outstanding attitude to making our stay even more comfortable. The check-in was quick and although we had early arrival our junior suite was ready. We were give an upgrade to superior junior suite thanks to Marina and the GM - Mr Martins. The room had breathtaking views of Porto and provided great comfort! We had a double bed and a sofa bed, which was large enough for two kids. The rooms here are equipped with separate air-conditioners, which we did not use because of good weather. We had half board and I would emphasize that both breakfasts and dinners were of superb quality. The staff were quick and polite. The Hotel has pools and restaurants that offer lunch also. There is a huge supermarket Continente with its bakery that is only 2-3 minutes away from the Hotel. Also, the City Sightseeing bus has its departing point easily accessible from the Hotel just at 10 minutes walking distance . One may also prefer to reach the Old City with its jewels by walking some 25 minutes. Overall this Hotel is a great place to stay.

First floor unit. Smells of mildew/mold, including the bed sheets. spiders in the corners of the bedroom and a noticeable gnat problem. Bedroom lights also don’t work, It’s a shame because the staff seems so nice! They were the sweetest people, and were willing to accommodate extra people! just the first floor rooms need moisture and pest solutions. The WiFi also cuts off if you try to access it from the bedroom.

we where 20 friends that stayed here for 5 nights what a wonderful hotel and the staff is just amazing. Everyone went out of their way to help us to prepare for us roof top party one evening and a buffet dinner down stairs in the reception/ breakfast area the last evening in Porto. The rooms are fantastic on the small side but you have everything you need , its chick and modern and nice for a city break. The bar in the roof top is just amazing just dial 001 and you get what you want. The bar downstairs amazing . Its easy to go everywhere around Porto from this hotel. What make this hotel is again the staff I dont name names because they are all wonderful and so happy to work there. The breakfast is nice and you get all what you need . You can tell that the staff who work there make this hotel happy. Happy Staff - Happy hotel. Me and my family are planning a holiday to Algarve, but as direct flights don’t run everyday to Faro, we decided to make a 3-day short trip at Porto before heading to Algarve. We saw Almada Domus on Expedia and decided to stay there as the photos look pretty and it describes its location as very central to all tourists attractions in Porto. Unfortunately, after we made the booking we realised that the hotel is actually located some blocks away from the main streets and requires a short climb uphill to get to, which will be a challenge for my husband who suffers from recurring Achilles tendinitis that makes walking difficult and would require walking aides. On the same day, within 2 hours after making our booking, I emailed the hotel to enquire about cancellation. I explained to Fabio (which I assume is the manager/ owner of the hotel) about my situation and at that time he seemed to be willing to accommodate my request but advised me to contact Expedia directly. I then spoke with Expedia and was told that they can do a free cancellation upon confirming with the hotel that they’re ok with it. Over 20 emails back and forth with the hotel since last evening, and this morning Fabio abruptly changed his tone and said he will not allow a free cancellation and we will have to pay a 50% penalty, as the booking is now “outside the 2-hour cancellation window”, and it would be “unfair to other guests” (even though I did contact the hotel about cancelling within 2 hours after making my booking, hoping to minimise the impact on their business). I was also told by Fabio that “Porto is a hilly city like Lisbon, which are not friendly for people with walking difficulties” and said but we can Uber everywhere…. I was very shocked with his last comments and obviously disappointed that he was unwilling to help even though he said he would at the beginning when I first contacted.

Really good for busy travelers, but if you like to enjoy some time at the hotel there's not much on offer besides a small gym. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is far from the touristic areas, but it is close to the metro if you want to explore the city by foot.

Great place, would like to return for sure, very friendly and helpful staff, silent space, with all things that could be needed. Cafe, swimming pool, garden, work space and library and private parking.

Nisbah harga/prestasi keseluruhan adalah baik, hotel ini bersih dan bersih, walaupun ia bukan hotel yang bagus, ia mempunyai segala-galanya yang sepatutnya ada. Tidak mengapa untuk hidup begitu-begitu. Acungkan jempol 👍
