Hotel Boston dengan Bar

The Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. However, the room was very tired, floor lifting, drainage in showers and sink near enough non existent, Ceiling lights did not work, No ventilation in room unless opened door. Room was described as having a Balcony… Some metal bars outside the door. Asked for a Fan in room in advance, was told that me is in the room. That was non existent and staff did not know anything about it. Had clean towels placed in room but only 1 and the cups and rubbish were left untouched. Shame as could be a brilliant Hotel

I have visited anoth Hotel in the group and had a wonderful stay. This hotel is decorated beautifully and staff are great. However, our room was up on the 3rd floor and the building is like a Labarynth, not suitable for elderly guest taking luggage up to their room.

Booking was all internet based and trouble free with a follow-up call from their reception on our day of arrival, where we were able to request and be granted a free room upgrade. On our arrival the receptionist was friendly and helpful and our room was clean and tidy apart from a couple of discarded pillow cases thrown on a vacant chair. Our first floor balcony overlooked the well maintained golf course and our bed was comfortable though remained unmade the following morning, despite our room being cleaned. We should have reported this oversight to the reception but didn’t. The meals we had in the cafè/restaurant were nothing spectacular, infact in most cases they were disappointing. We were able to obtain a 10% reduction on their prices due to us being guests at the hotel, but when we tried to take advantage of another offer which was advertised in our room (a free pint of beer when ordering a burger) we were told that that particular promotion was no longer active, despite it being in our room clearly saying it was! All in all a good place to stay, the room was large and spacious, the bath and shower worked well and the grounds were well maintained. The only things that let it down were our unmade bed, discarded pillow cases and not accepting advertised offers. So only 8 out of 10
