Ulasan Logis - Hotel & Restaurant la Corne D 'Abondance

We stopped over as this was a nice drive from Calais before heading south for our holidays the next day. The owners were very welcoming and helpful both speaking good English. The hotel is quirky with a lovely modern extension but a really old and quirky main building. There was still Christmas decorations up in July which we found funny but I guess added to the quirkiness of the place. We had a family room in the old building which was functional and the bathroom looked like it was recently updated. The off-road parking was great and meant we could leave some bags in the car. There is a good bakery just up the road so was able to buy a couple of baguettes before heading on our journey. The evening meal was good… nothing special but we arrived late so was a welcome feed. Will certainly return next year if we are heading south again

We stayed here last week on our drive to Germany. It is wheelchair friendly, the room we had was lovely and the food served was excellent! Especially the oysters. The people running the hotel were also very friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay here again

This is the second year we have stayed here on the start of our annual French holiday. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, speaking good English and forgiving of our pigeon French! The hotel was an eclectic mix of decor and facilities, with secure parking which was a bonus as we could leave items in the car overnight. The room was clean and well kitted out for our needs and we had a lovely evening meal and breakfast before heading out on the rest of our journey. Will hopefully be returning next year and would certainly recommend.

V good quality restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Easily found with good free local parking. Very welcoming chatty and knowledgeable staff. A quite night sleep before a short hop back to the uk

Lovely welcome by the lady who owned the place, sat out on the patio with a wine and a lovely refreshing cocktail of the house. We had requested a room in the new part which was lovely. Very modern, clean, comfortable bed, the bathroom had a good shower but the whole room I think is designed as a wet room so water gets everywhere when having a shower but there is a squidgy to dry the floors with which worked great other wise you could easily slip (although could have done with a handle on it to save bending). We could not get the air conditioning to work, apparently there was a fault and not user error but when we booked the room we did not know it had air con and had booked a high level room so we could sleep with the window open which is what we did. Unfortunately it was Saturday night and guests were staying at the hotel who had been to a wedding, returning, very rowdily between 2-4 in the morning, so sleeping with the window open led to a rather disturbed night otherwise a very peaceful area. They had private parking with a secure locked gate which was great. We had booked the gourmet break for one night and we were really looking forward to it but I have to say that the meal was pretty poor. It was not to French standard at all, like something you would expect from a really bad chain pub restaurant at home. Such a shame that this let it down, I unfortunately hand on heart have to say that it was the worst meal we had had in our 4 weeks touring around france. I can recommend the hotel, the lovely, helpful owners but would say eat elsewhere or bring a sandwich!

We stopped off overnight at this super hotel in the pleasant town of Bourgtheroulde, on our way from The Loire to the Channel Tunnel. What an amazing find! We had booked and we received a warm welcome from Madame Tina the hotel owner , and all the help we needed! We enjoyed a well presented evening meal and after a comfortable nights sleep in one of the newer rooms, (right by where our loaded car was securely parked), a satisfying continental breakfast. Tina and her staff were very friendly and efficient. We thoroughly recommend this Logis as it is a convenient distance from the Chunnel and Ferry Ports…. and we fully intend to use it again!

Bon emplacement à 20 min de Rouen. Chambre paisible et calme, bonne literie. Diner sur place dans formule demi-pension : bon repas, pas d'attente ni d'empressement. Séjour agréable et personnel convivial.

Ancien relais de poste , avec une partie de l'hotel tout neuf , avec des chambres spacieuses actuelles. Restaurant dans le relais avec une belle salle à manger avec une belle cheminée. Cuisine , avec des plats bien servis et bon. Pdj buffet correct dans une autre salle sans charme.

Goede ontvangst. Goed restaurant. Verzorgde kamer. Goed ontbijt. Zeer goede bakkers in de buurt. Mogelijkheden om ook eens te wandelen in de omgeving

Très décevant et cher ! Le seul plus : une très bonne literie. Mais le reste est chiche. Déco minimaliste. Pas de barre pour les serviettes. Lampes de chevet qui n'eclairent. Petit déjeuner minimum. L'hôtel est en revanche calme et parking sécurisé

Très bon accueil des gérants. Parking privé fermé mais nombre de places limité. Restauration de qualité: pour moi tartare de saumon, suprême de volaille et coupe tutti frutti. Le tout très bon

J'y ai passé un agréable moment, Hôtel et personnel agréable J'étais en demi-pension, dîner délicieux et petit déjeuner complet Je recommande.

Accueil et service de qualité Bonne restauration pour le dîner. Un peu plus de choix au petit déjeuner serait apprécié mais cela reste correct. Chambre confortable Bon rapport qualité prix Je recommande chaudement cet hôtel

très bon hôtel, personnel accueillant et serviable, restaurant très bien, les chambres sont sobres, propres et confortables, parking à proximité, bon rapport qualité prix pour le secteur. Je recommande.
