Bozburun Yacht Club

The yacht club at Bozburun is a popular stopoff for the gullets that cruise this part of the Dodecanese. It has a beautiful waterside frontage and a generally marvellous location. However beware of the prices - the place is eye-wateringly expensive, and by 'eye-watering' I mean that it makes London look cheap. The menu and wine list don't have prices in them - which should have alerted us, but because Turkey is generally pretty good value the alarm bells didn't ring. We ordered a few mezze-style small dishes and then some tempura and calamari to share. We ordered a couple of bottles of local wine and some bottles of beer between six. The bill came to 90 euros per head - some 180 euros per couple. Initially we thought there'd been a mistake until the staff explained just how much they were charging - £STG8.50 for a bottle of beer and some £STG60 for the local plonk. So by all means go visit but CHECK THE PRICES FIRST.

Really nice “yacht/beach” club. Fantastic food in the evening as in many other yacht clubs. Breakfast was not much to call home about! As a relaxing day by the sea 5/5 Staff 3/5 (did not speak English) Dinner 4/5 Breakfast 2/5 Owner walking around with a stick up his ass 1/5 The owner needs to be more humble and realise the guests pays his salary and bills!

I am giving this review a 3 because of the total chaos of service. We arrived for 7:00 reservations and the restaurant was barely full. Our initial service was fine. We had a server that understood English and was happy when we needed Google translator. After drink orders, we were presented a tray of beautiful cold appetizers in case they appealed to anyone. My husband and I chose the grape leaves stuffed with rice and cherry. Yum! Two couples ordered the hummus with pita and both agreed very good. I did taste the pita and it was good. We then waited, spoke to the owner when he dropped by to introduce himself. He was very nice but still waited over an hour for other drinks and then take next order. We ran out of water and were very thirsty. Finally my husband found our server and asked for him to come take our orders. He noded but never returned. Another gentleman walked by like he was checking on us and I got his attention. He didn't speak English, which is fine we are in their country, however he was kind enough to grab the owner. We again went through the request for 4 checks and placed the order. The owner translated all for the server. Our food came out and one person in group didn't get his mushroom sauce however the owner caught that quickly. My husband really liked his meatballs, my spaghetti was good and hot when served. One in our group had steak pasta and she was pleased. Another couple ordered a fish and cheese hamburger and got shrimp with a lot of cheese sauce all over. They were not pleased with the food. Having pictures of food, even when translated helps. When the bill arrived it was 1 bill.. Sigh another for splitwise...When in Turkey near Bozburun try it but beware, like all countries, more people than workers. Some establishments handle that better than others. This one was middle of the the road at best.

While sailing the Datca penisula we stayed a night here. Dockage was reasonable with water and electicity included. Staff were super friendly. There is a shuttle for a reasonable cost that goes to Bozburun town where we could buy some provisions. The club offered a laundry service. The club grounds are beautiful with flowers and shade umbrellas everywhere. Dinner was pricey and unfortunately our meal was average but on the whole we had a great stay.

The hotel is accessible only by boat and once you reach the town you need to call the hotel to send a boat to pick you (in about 10 min). Staff was very professional, swimming areas were great, the rooms are a bit on the older side but still very pleasant. Views from the balconies are great. Visiting surrounding areas can be done by renting a boat.

One of the best price-performance All menu were so delicious Meal portions are very big and I satisfying. Comparing to other A Plus restaurants I can guarantee you , you will be satisfied with meal portions, atmosphere and theişr lovely well coming owners Edhem He had visited all the tables and chatted with the guests and checked if everything is fine. All the stuff were excellent . They were so polite, lovely and the service was excellent I recommend all people to try fried zucchini, shrimp pastry and home made potato fries. These 3 were their must try list. Next time I will also stay in their hotel

Oncelikle sahiplerinin nazik tavirlari ve de ortamin guzelligi atmosfer cok guzel. Fakat gonul rahatligi ile soyleyebilirim ki bu fiyatlar etmez. Market saraplarini x5 kati fiyatlara satiyorlar. Iki parca karidesli borek 140tl. Bir adet deniz urunlu kucuk bir makarna 200tl. Hem selimiye hem de turkiyenin her yerinde cok daha fiyat kalite orani olan restoranlar bulunuyor.

Odaların eskiliği hayal kırıklığı yarattı. Tuvaletteki klozet kapağı hem kırık, hem de açılmıyordu. Duş ile tuvaleti ayıran bir duşakabin yoktu. Duş alınca sular her yere aktı. Eşimin doğumgünü için gitmiştik. Hem rezervasyonda belirttim, hem telefon ile aradım, hem check inde ufak bir pasta istediğimi söyledim. Hiç kimsenin umurunda olmadı. Bu kadar ününü duyduğumuz bir yerde böyle kötü servisle karşılaşmak ve odaların bu kadar yenilenmemiş olmasına inanamadık. Bir daha gitmeyi düşünmeyiz.
