Thank you to Sandeep who looked after us while we had my sisters graduation party! Extremely helpful and ensured we had everything that we needed. Room was lovely and hotel was fab overall. Would definitely book again.

The hotel does the job, it's a bed for the night but it is now looking rather tired. Check in was great, very friendly but they only had enough for one key per room which didn't bother us but I suppose it could for others. Slept well after the event we attend. Breakfast which is included wasn't great, no milk in the coffee machine and when I complained they were still trying to sort by the time we had finished. Sausages were over cooked and looked to have been left out for hours and didn't taste good. Would stay there again but avoid breakfast

I was really looking forward to staying here, A grand old style station hotel that no doubt would be a bit faded which is why its only a 3 star hotel . I was wrong! Its a grand old style station hotel. The public rooms are all amazing Victoriana style & elegant. I was pleased that my tall room was comfortable & the facilities were just fine. I was worried that the free parking (with good security) might be full but there were easily enough places Breakfast was good on both days particularly if you like a cooked breakfast Good central location for easy access into & out of town & for the city centre (Media Museum currently closed for a big upgrade). Note that if you are driving you may find that if your sat nav is not up to date you may have a couple of false instructions & I think that an 18 month long set of roadworks is about to start in the centre of the city. Not an obvious large number of nearby restaurant choices but I thoroughly recommend the Bistro Polish Food just a couple of minutes away- not a big menu choice but fresh authentic food prepared well and at a good price

Great hotel, good location here in A celebration of mitochondrial disease My mito Mission. What a great evening Paul. The service was great. Food was absolutely exceptional staff helpful and courteous. Great function room for a very large Charity ball and the room third floor nice size room, clean tidy, massive bed and a great shower and bathso overall five stars all round highly recommend to stay here

Great stoppover, good night sleep, clean and comfortable room. Plenty tea and Coffee available from reception, only downside there is no food facilities apart from the vending machine, but McDonald is just around the corner. Would definitley stay again!
